True. The Grandfather of a friend of mine had a 1930's Lagonda on stands in his barn. (UK) During the winter, he would place a paraffin-kerosene sump heater under it to stop it freezing. It was covered in blankets too, so I never saw anything other than the front. I'm sure he meant to work on it, but his health was failing. I lost touch decades ago. I wonder where it is now. did it fit well or did you have to do a lot of cutting?
My older brother had a 1950 Chevy. he didn't want it at his home or his wife didn't want it so we had to leave it on the side of a road. I hope someone did something with it.

The car, covered in hay and bird droppings, has undamaged paintwork and nickel-plated parts without traces of corrosion...I willingly believe it! (Sarcasm!) Bird droppings, which even corrode the paint of missile-carrying cruisers that can withstand heating up to 1200 degrees Celsius, did not even leave a stain🤦‍♂️ Either these are technologies of a lost civilization, or the guy learned “restoration” from Thai bloggers who “restore” computers by washing them with running water, by reverse installation😁

I know it’s not the cool of a classic like that Chevy 2 door sedan but I’m doing my part by my 96 Buick Park Avenue in good running condition I’m the second owner of it and I have no plans to sell it but only to restore it not that it’s needs it as it is still in really nice shape for its age but those are my plans for it the paint is still in good condition as it was garaged by the original owner 90 percent of the time and I keep it in the garage as well only 82,000 original miles original 4T60-E 4 speed transmission and original none supercharged 3800 series 2 Buick V6 I wish it was the Ultra supercharged model but those models are hard to find in nice shape 80 percent of Park Avenues were the base model from 91 to 96 but only 18 percent of Park Avenues sold from 91 to 96 were Ultra trims and even less about 7 percent came with the sunroof option mine happens to be a fully loaded Park Avenue without the sunroof or Ultra trim not rare but it has everything but a sunroof for a base model it’s less common in my opinion it’s worth saving as it is a good reliable Buick I quite like it
