Its a really good video, but you will get dust between the glass and LCD. You need to have compressed air and carefully blow it out before you close it.

Great video! I happy to say that it was very helpful and my digitizer has successfully been replaced. The problem is those those retaining clips that hold the digitizer to the logic board. One of them broke when I was taking out the first digitizer and now only half the screen works. Is there any way you know of to improvise or buy a new one?? Thanks again!

Excuse me LaptopScreen.com My ipad is has a problem where it types by itself zooms in and out and flips to different pages and opening apps. You know the solution to fixing that?

Angus, google "ipad phantom touch" - cleaning the screen with anti-static cleaning solution is a common way to fix such problems on devices that have not had the touch-screen replaced. If the touchscreen has been replaced and the touches are suspected to be the result of the replacement - the new digitizer maybe lacking some insulators underneath. See this post: www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/192265/solution+to+phantom-ghost+touches+ipad+air
