- It looks like Lillie is gonna be a Pokemon Trainer in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon! So you know what that means right? She'd gonna be using Nebby in battle! ...Right? Nah, probably not. But that just means she's gonna be using some other Pokemon! And by looking at certain aspects of Lillie's character, I've come up with a prediction for her team, and after you finish watching the video, I hope that you make a team prediction for her as well :)

What's going on guys?! HybridHero here! I hope everyone is having a terrific day! I got a few things that I need to briefly mention.
1, As I mentioned in the video I was sick while recording this so sorry for the quality drop in the audio this video, and for the sudden change in audio near the end of the video. Ran into a lot of technical issues with this video, but I think I made it work out :)

Definitely agree about her having the Weaker Starter to you and I like the idea of you all get Eevee at some point. My hope personally would be that Lillie gets another Cosmog (similar to how you get it at the Lake of the Sunne/Moone) and then evolves it into the opposite legendary to the version you're playing and then battles you with it, kinda like how when you face N in the final battle in Black and White with N having the opposite legendary. So for example if you're playing Ultra Sun, Lillie would evolve her Cosmog into Lunala and vice versa in Ultra Moon and Solgaleo.

To be honest, i felt bad taking Nebby in my sun version because i thought it belongs to Lilly. I think we should get a random cosmog and Lilly should keep the story one.

I think the cleffa line is the counterpart of the jigglypuff one; specially on Sun/Moon since Igglybuff appears on the same route as Cleffa but in the morning and Cleffa at night and Wigglytuff is cute, or maybe it will be the Jigglypuff that came from Kanto

Glaceon= Lilie's choice of clothes are rather majestic or very elegant,which represent the ice type. The colour of Lilie's outfit is also white,which represent Ice
Vaporeon=As i mentioned earlier,her choice of clothes in Ultra Sun and Moon are rather Simple,but beautiful.And,he said that vaporeon might be one of her pokèmon.
Having the Honchcrow on her team could be a throwback to the Murkrow on the bridge in Sun and Moon and that this is when she finally conquers her fear of pokemon.

Ugh, these theories and fanmade stories on Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon sound so much better than what we got. I feel like we were let down with gen 7 (I am going on by US/UM. I have heard S/M were decent.)
Considering the recent games have had most of the main trainers only use 4 pokemon, I doubt that she will have a full team. But, if it is the case that she does I would like to think that they will be putting more pokemon in the dex for this game, so there's that to consider, too.

0:21 "it looks like she'll be starting off with her z-powered form, very early on" I personally think it's more likely that she'll change clothes at the same point in the game. We've seen a few screenshots of her on Melemele with the Nihilego-inspired outfit, and in the same trailer that revealed Mina's trial we caught a glimpse of the cutscene that revealed her new clothes, and it appeared pretty unchanged. However, Ohmori and Iwao recently said in an interview that we'll "get to see a new side" of Lillie and Hau, so anything is possible.
8:54 It's funny you mention Mohn's team or lack thereof, because I always kind of headcanoned that he used to use a lot of counterparts to Lusamine, being Whimsicott, Honchkrow, Wigglytuff, and Gyarados. Hopefully USM lets him leave Poke Pelago and do something plot relevant.
9:22 Fun fact, I believe that Lillipup showed up as a Herdier briefly in the most recent anime episode at Aether Paradise. I agree that it would make a great team member, especially if she catches it as a Lillipup, since its name sounds so much like her own.

I think the scene with you, Nebby, and the Recon Squad is just Nebby getting out of its bag and you having to retrieve it for Lillie like what happened in the Melemele Meadow in the original games. I could be wrong and they could be misleading us, though.

12:00 On the one hand, I feel like eeveelutions have been used a little excessively by rivals recently, but at the same I love the idea of her having a counterpart to a Pokemon on Hau's team and you're right that the Eeveelutions fit her really well.
Overall, it's a good theory and I hope you're right that she becomes a trainer. If only Nebby was allowed to stay with her, but alas, they have to go with the protagonist by definition of being the mascot legendary.

I'm watching this from 'the future' and I'm head smacking so much
I really liked your video and your thought process for every pokemon in her team, but I feel like her team could be a little different.
Lusamine's team has a lot of cute and female pokemon and Gladion's team has a lot of cool and "badass" pokemon.
My thought process is for her to have some "friendly" and some kanto pokemon, since she actually started her journey going to kanto at sun and moon.
1 - Kanto Ninetales. Alolan ninetales would be a shame to not be in the game. But as she started in Kanto and professor kukui already owns one, maybe she will have the kanto version.
2 - Tsareena since it's a girl like pokemon that I really though would be the signature pokemon of Lusamine and kind of fits Lili's new stronger form personality. Also, it's rumored for tsareena to receive a new Z-move.
3 - Mega Kangaskhan since I think every important character or elite 4 member should receive a mega (like in alpha sapphire/omega ruby) and it is a kanto and is a mother/daughter related pokemon and the daughter becoming stronger and helping the mother in the mega version.
4 - Mantine recently received a buff and has the "friendly" thing since it evolves becoming friends with a remoraid.
5 - Comfey beause I think it fits her personality well (cheerful and always healing your pokemon) and did not have any spotlight in sun and moon. Or Florges by almost the same reasons.
6 - Flygon since it would be really nice to see her with a dragon pokemon, showing that she became a really strong trainer. And its also pretty cute and a fan favorite.
At least it would be my Lili's dream team with some pokemon that I think deserve a little more attention =)
I think Stoutlands actually possible too. Considering how you get Lillipup so early in the game, (and the fact that's its adorable,) would just make it work so well.

I think Lillie having a Type:Null/Silvally would be cool, I mean have ever wondered what happened to that 3rd Type:Null that was left behind when you and Gladion get one ?
It's can also help out Lillie's team with any weakness plus it's better then rotting away in a lab.
I think she'll have either Clefable or Wigglytuff, Alolan Ninetales, the starter that's weak to yours, Lycanroc in the form that you can't get in your game (for example Midnight Lycanroc if you have Ultra sun). And maybe she'll have Lopunny. Idk why but I can see Lillie having a Lopunny and she might mega evolve it.
Looks like she's a fairy trainer which I'm ok with! When her inevitable return happens I can still also see Alolan Ninetails getting added to her team

I think Lilie should get a feebas that later evolves into a milotic. Its because in sun and moon Lusamine always called her ugly, and at the end, she calls her beautiful. But since it interveers with primarina, so maybe it will be similar to the gary situation in leaf green and fire red.

Lillie is my all time favorite PokeGirl next to Serena because she's such a lovable and well detailed character, also I think the perfect team for her would be Alolan Ninetails, Clefairy, Swanna, Espeon, Tsarenna and Froslass due to the fact they fit well with her character and how feminine these Pokemon are 😁💙
Base on the anime, she might be a fairy type trainer due to alolan Ninetails and clafairy
I know this video is a little old but this is my prediction for Lillie:
Alolan Ninetales - She has snowy in the anime, and if you're looking at family aspect and saying that Kukui is her adopted dad, then this would be reference to his team.
Espeon - Eeveelutions are cute, works with her personality, has great stats, and could be an homage to Gladions Umbreon in the anime.
Honchkrow - The more I think of it the more I like it. Opposite to Lusamines Mismagius, elude to Gladions cool and dark demeanor (but really a nice guy and sweet towards his sister on the inside), good reminder to living at Kukui's place and all the help he and Burnet (adoptive parents) gave her. Not to mention the stats, and multiple type immunities/resistances.
These last 3 are really dependent on what the Pokemon company decides to do. There are leaks, rumors, and a few confirmations about new alola forms and the pokedex to be expanded. So maybe there will be new Pokemon that weren't in Sun and Moon that would better suit Lillie. But these are what I would like to see.
Fire type - If she does obtain a starter and it works out to be Incineroar then so be it. If she doesn't get Incineroar, or any starter, then I could see maybe Turtonator, just to throw a wrench into things and to give her a powerhouse.
Water type - If she does obtain a starter and it works out to be Primarina then so be it. If she doesn't get Primarina or any starter, then I could see Corsola because of her love of Pokemon and wanting to keep them safe (cause Corsola are hunted).
Grass type - If she does obtain a starter and it works out to be Decidueye then so be it. If she doesn't get Decidueye or any starter, then I could see one of the rumored new grass type alola forms, would be a good way to advertise it like with Hau and Alolan Raichu. I did think of maybe a Mega Meganium, to really blow our minds. But after thinking about it, I'd rather Crystal have the first Mega Meganium, since that is her starter.
Of course these are just things that I would be excited to see. We all know that the Pokemon company doesn't really think about strategy and type coverage when giving NPCs teams, they rarely even give out full teams of 6. So all we can do is wait and see what they do with Lillie.
Because my reasoning was so long I'm gonna give move sets here.
Alolan Ninetales - Blizzard or Sheer Cold, Dazzling Gleam, Grudge, Hail
Espeon - Psychic, Shadow Ball, Morning Sun, Confusion
Honchkrow - Foul Play, Drill Peck, Steel Wing, Roost
Turtonator - Shell Trap, Dragon Pulse, Iron Defence, Sunny Day
Corsola - Liqudation, Power Gem, Earth Power, Recover
(If the rumors are true) Alolan Vileplume or Alolan Bellossom - Petal Dance, Sludge Bomb, Infestation, Mega Drain
If she gets a starter:
Incineroar - Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, Cross Chop, Fire Fang
Primarina - Hydro Pump, Moonblast, Perish Song, Sparking Aria
Decidueye - Solar Beam, Spirit Shackle, U-turn, Leaf Blade

I feel like you have to consider that in Sun and Moon Lillie travels to Kanto, so her team is likely to consist of Pokémon that are found in the Kanto region, but the alolan Vulpix is a viable option. I also feel that Lillie will be a normal, flying, ice, or fairy trainer.

I can absolutely see Clefairy/Ninetales-A/Gliscor/Stoutland/Eeveelution(not Flareon or Leafeon so much), but Honchkrow seemed like a bit of an odd choice. I see the reasoning of choosing a counterpart Pokemon to mons her family use, but it's just a tad strange a pick.
I don't think excluding Gyarados, Whimsicott, or Gengar was necessary or properly justified.
I doubt either Gengar of Honchkrow, but I could absolutely see Milotic.
