    I appreciate the customer being resistant to sharing her social security number, but confused by the “free” marketing tactic to get in the house.

    Need a training video with someone who already has a whole life policy. Or term. Just a policy. So I can figure out how to overcome it. All of my clients so far have had policies

      Were they looking to supplement their coverage or save money for what they’re currently spending. (Find them a new policy)

      If you are contracted with the right carriers you may be able to get better rates or more coverage for same rate. Build trust and rapport, call their current carriers to see what the policies actually are before you move forward...

      That’s a great thing! That means they’re believers in life insurance. Ask them if they have the type or old type of insurance ? 10/9 times we can upgrade what they have already

      @@titonothere6179 Exactly! They already believe in it and most often times they got sold an accidental-only death benefit and/or it has a 2 year wait period which may include increases in prices. So you just ask them for their policy so you can review it.

    Dan, what kind of paper application were you using during the interview? And where can one find a copy? That was good I felt, while you were asking all these questions. And are the questions on the paper also or do you have to know what to ask the clients?

    Do you do quotes first or the application first?

      I quote them first. I show them the max amount they would qualify for first and work with them to get a benefit put in place that will fit their budget.

    As soon as he said "my wife is better than me at this," I would have felt like I should have been talking to his wife in the first place. "She would do a better job at helping me if I am hearing you correctly..." If I am spending my hard-earned money, I want the best person in the agency to help me! Sugar mama comment would have turned me off as well. Otherwise, a nice, clean presentation. The daughter did an amazing job as well!

      Does she want to pay it all with savings or make small monthly payments? Cash value, living benefits, blah blah blah. 🖖🏼

    my friend printed an FBI card off line- showing someone a printed lic is a joke- You need to show it to them from the actual website of the state!
    No offense mate- you gotta get with the times

      I do this first when introducing myself. I show my license, producer's license and I already have the website pulled up on my iPad so they can confirm I am who I say I am.
