I simply enjoy helping people. So I sell insurance for that purpose. What happens after to my bank is just the result of taking care of others.

@@channelsmediaent512I started in this industry while homeless and within a shelter, being evicted wouldn’t be pleasant, but it wouldn’t be new to me either, and before you say “oh that’s bullshit, you need and address to even become an agent/producer” yes, that’s correct, and since I had had mail delivered under my name previously to said homeless shelter, and I was legally a temporary resident technically, I was still able to get my license to produce, by using the address of said shelter, I have empathy for those who struggle, because I know what it’s like.

Cold wash of reality. What he's saying is that success takes sacrifice. A lot of it. It's not just that most people will not, or can not, do what he's saying. It's that not everyone SHOULD.
Achieving success takes suffering and self-denial. People who have achieved great success laid a lot of other things on the altar to get there. A healthy marriage. Time with kids. Leisure. Hobbies. Even their own self-care.
The kindest thing you can do for yourself is ask "Am I willing to sacrifice EVERY GOOD PLEASURE for the chance at success? If the answer is "yes", you're success is a matter of time, and, will involve overcoming a lot of failure. If the answer is no, then be kind to yourself. Be kind to your family, and create a life where you can be content. It takes a lot of humility to do that, but, that will lead to a lot more peace and joy in your life.

I love PBD. Everything he’s saying is true. The part he’s leaving out that most people at PHP didn’t understand was exactly what that system was, how to teach it, why they taught it, and if they don’t write and only recruit, they’d duplicate a bunch of people who don’t write as well. I’d rather have 5 people that write than 5000 that don’t. Pure headache. Now you’re the leader of an organization that steals all your time, but doesn’t make you any money. We don’t even count the agents that don’t write. In our company the people that don’t write are like the walking dead.

Reading the negative and positive comments below. As a licensed insurance agent who wants to go from earning 6 figures to 7. I must keep in mind that I will catch employee mentality/agent mentality people in my recruitment net. Who don’t understand business, let alone how to scale distribution. To create an annual gross revenue of $100,000,000 I would need A players to be in front line. Not a PHP agent, but love Pats content. It’s not possible to get to 8 figure net worth by ripping people off. People are not stupid.
