I started to learn Linux Sysadmin Skills in my freetime back in 2015. One of the best Hobbies I've obtained so far. I can rent a matchin 20-40$ VServer and configure it myself for the best performance. Hi Adam I have question which is not related to this video, I would like to know if any user searched for my website how can I control the bottom tabs that are located below my website url for example if I type Zara there will be Man women kids like wise is there way to let the customers see only selected tabs or change them to make them look nice and relevant..Thanks in advance any help would be much appreciated.
this video is a few months old and they may have changed the setting but when you go in to turn on the cache i don't see an option for objects in my heading
I tried this and set as suggested but it's caused my site to grind to a halt today. The reason being, according to cpanel, my I/O Usage is maxed out at 100% together with a very high Physical memory usage. My hosting provider informs me it must be down to too many CRON calls. I unchecked the 2 php extensions and changed the LiteSpeed Cache selections back to default and things seem to be back to normal. I need to research and understand CRON better to figure out what went wrong and if I can change some other parameter to allow me to enable caching again.
I use Namehero and I did the cache steps; I didn't do the Bunny CDN since it changes some urls. Like for example I have hundreds of citations with my company logo URL and I wouldn't want that url to change. Is Bunny CDN important for a small non e-commerce local business website?
Hi Adam, what you think about Hostinger? I have been using their service for two months. Their support and services are much much better than other high cost web hosting services. I think you can have a look at their service and do a review, if you don't mind. Hostinger too uses Lightspeed servers. Please have your review on their service.
Thanks a ton Adam, I bought a 1$ hosting server based on lite speed server and nvme ssd in Germany Earlier it took 4.5 seconds to load now it takes 2.5 seconds without CDN hahahaha thank you so much. Now I'm trying litespeed cdn setup let see I'll update on that soon

@@WPCrafter I tried that and it didn't work at first. Hi - this does not include or apply if you have Ezoic right? Also: wit do you not like about BLUEHOST? What would you suggest instead and can someone change hosts once the site is already established?
Back again... Just got namehero and bunny cdn. So to clarify. when you hook up bunny cdn it takes a bit to propagate at first, but will load quickly the first time even if a person has never visited the site before? Because its ready to be delivered before requested the first time? If so. WOW. Seems to be working this way as I do the speed tests.. then purge the cache... wait... then do speed test again... If I test too quickly it has a 3 second load time, but after I wait a few minutes it can be under 1 second. This is after purging.
Best video in a very long long time. Fits perfectly to people needs on these moments.. Waiting for LightSpeedCache tutoría now! BTW what you think about Hostinger? Keep up bro!
why you didn't talk about siteground in this video? Siteground offer litespeed hosting with a pretty good caching plugin & their customer service is also awesome. Currently, They are using Google Cloud, so probably much better than other hostings.
They don't offer litespeed hosting. They have their own tech stack which is not based on Litespeed. This is why they offer their own caching plugin SGOptimizer. Here is how you use it ua-cam.com/video/OBtc0D0QOQM/v-deo.html
Thanks Adam. How would you compare your analysis to Cloudways which provides CDN and also Cache? In particular, how would you compare this to a low price 1GB VULTR 11 dollar monthly fee and also to a higher price ASW say >50 dollar subscription at Cloudways? If you think it is more advisable to use Cloudways then what added value do they provide in comparison to what you describe in this video? Regards.
Too bad caching doesn't work with Cartflows. I had such a great hosting with easywp, it was so fast but Carflows didn't work with it no matter what I tried. Now I'm with Siteground and it's much slower because of some caching/minifying features that I had to disable.
Hey Adam, Could you make a video about the difference between shared hosting and cloud hosting. Also why are prices and features so different on cloudways, from Digital Ocean to AWS
Go Adam go. Love your enthusiasm. Talk about getting and holding people's attention. Ok, this left me mildly confused between lite-speed. Is that just something to enable or is it unique to hosts providing that? like, I can click the php settings and that enables litespeed?
Thanks Grant. I think part of it was editing and preparation :-). Oh and props. Now to answer your question, its the tech on the server, so the host specifically need to be using a Litespeed server.
Cloudflare is one of the best DNS | WAF | CDN with over 200 data centers across the world. The DNS is one of the fastest. Highly recommend Cloudflare. And best part its free and their paid plans gives some awesome capability. But with bunny you don't get the Web Application Firewall nor UltrafastDNS. However if you do want to use a 3rd party CDN, use Cloudflare in DNS ONLY, never use the Cloudflare CDN with another CDN, that will actually slow your site, tested this many of times.
lightspeed server technology is just checking the two boxes in the PHP version? Why can't we just call our existing cheap host and ask them to check the boxes instead of using name hero? (then install the lighspeed cache plugin). I ask because I just bought Siteground thinking it was supposed to be faster than my existing host... now do I cancel my order and get name hero??
Hey Adam, you had suggested Cloudways in one of your videos couple of years (if I remember it right) back. Do you still advocate for Cloudways? If you were to do Litespeed caching with Cloudways, would that be possible? And which of these do you prefer if you have your client’s application hosted as well?
Redis + memcache + opcace must all three be on, it can be control by W3TC use w3tc + wp rocket best combo! w3tc controls server side while wp rocket can take care of the caching at visitor side
So, how NameHero Plus its different than SG GoGeek. There's no price difference in good hosting. Price difference it's between good and bad hosting, compared SG vs Bluehost for example
Hi. I subscribed for A2 Hosting in the past, but I was unhappy about their Admin Area and support. I suggest you to prefer NameHero: they have a good Client Area with an easy panel and their support is very fast.
I have siteground as a host and I didn't see the PHP function in my panel, but it obviously supports lite speed because I had a ll green in my dashboard. I went to Cache > Object and set object cache to on and changed to redis with the port of 6379 and saved - still shows memcached enabled and redis disabled. But my main question is which speed plugins should I remove? Right now I have Assel Cleanup, Async Javascript, Autoptimize, Flying Scripts, and WP Fastest Cache - and of course Cloudflare.

Hi Adam. Really great stuff here and I'm thinking of making the move. Thank you so much for this! But in your video your only showing the NameHero panel to make the changes. Is the A2 Hosting Panel exactly the same (where to make those changes to the PHP settings)? Also, would their StartUp Plan also be suitable for this?
Thanks Adam. You are the best. Just a quick question. Let's say you connect your website to bunny dot net cdn. And down the tract you want to move that site from where it is currently hosted to a new host. Do you just move the site using one of the migration plugins to a new host and leave all the settings in bunny dot net? I suppose it should be OK since the host name from bunny dot net will still be the same when I put the site in the new location. What do you think?

I can rent a matchin 20-40$ VServer and configure it myself for the best performance. I suggest everybody to learn some Linux CLI (Command Line Interface) Skills, this will save you a couple of bucks and also gets you a better unterstanding about technology in a Server enivorment.
Maybe start a channel and tutor us newbs on what you have learned step by step. You would probably pick up some custom hosting clients.
@@spiritspun4836 Yep thats a great Idea, if I had the time. Im currently working and studying parttime, sadly I dont have that much freetime left.
But trough my IT Knowledge and Skill I got a great new Job with a lot of Freedom and a very high salary. Education is one of the best ways forward and IT in general has a lot to offer. Skills like Kubernetes are new and high in demand 😉
I've you need adwise or just wanna chat, Im always in for that 😁
@@herrerkan maybe share a list of your favorite resources you used to learn with?
I would definitely like to get advice from yourself ☺️
@@spiritspun4836 Thanks man 😁
Sure, I can recommend some resources.
When I started out, I used the App "Enki" for learning Linux Commands. Katacoda also has great onhands approach Courses, were you can dive into different difficulties. Sololearn has couple of great courses to learn Programming Languages.
One of my most recommended ways is to buy a Rasberry PI and start with small stuff, like a NFS Fileshare, DNS Service or just set it up for TV Streaming. (I one did Bitcoin Mining on one with 10 128-Bit AES Encrypt USB-Sticks 😜)
The way I found into Linux was one day I asked myself, why do I have to pay so much for a simple service, when the only thing I needed was some freetime and effort to learn these Skills.
It took me some time, I would say I came to the professionell Level after 3 Years and it was a steep learning curve, but very worth it.
just when I thought I saw everything when it comes to hosting and speed. Thanks, learned something new.
This is great for static WordPress websites that can be served primarily via cache. I wouldn't suggest moving an e-commerce site to a $6/mo hosting platform. Also, LOVE what you do!
hey adamn. do we need a caching plugin with cloudways? since they do caching on the server side? If not, how can we purge all those assets to the CDN?
Hey, thank you , thank you and thank you. For explaining it to all of us non techy folks!!!!
Hey Adam, absolutely keeeey values in this video. Thank you!
Another subject: do you have any recommendation for secure business email providers with a feature of attaching many domains, aside from Gmail and Roundbox? Ty!
So I’m running woocommerce ones a day adding new product if I activated cdn then my old data will be in cdn server ? Do I need t deactivated when I’m adding product ?
Nice... Very Informative... Thanks
best wordpress man on youtube
Watching your video from Peru!
Thanks for watching!
Adam, I don't understand.. Siteground uses caching also, right? What's the problem with their caching?
The bald guy in black :) your videos taught us a lot.
Thank you Adam, for turning many non-techies of us into "techies" :))
Slowly but surely.
@@WPCrafter it is true. I did many things based on your recommendation. and i am glad i did.
- hosting with siteground
- building with elementor
- and moved from Yaost to RankMath
Hey Adam, When you will be bringing the LiteSpeed Cache and bunny cdn complete integration tutorial.. and please explain Litespeed cache options in detail. Also can i use cloudflare just for SSL and reverse proxy thing and use bunny cdn along with it.? BTW your this video helped me to get my website speed from 7.6 seconds to 1.5 second. Thank You
Hi, which hosting do you use?
Hosting konsi use karta hai bhai?
Why use Cloudflare if you are using Bunny? My site has lots of speed just using the setup that Wpcrafter shows plus bunny.
It is better to enable Memcached and Redis for Apache server as well right?
It's a great video. Extremely helpful. Thanks
I need to research and understand CRON better to figure out what went wrong and if I can change some other parameter to allow me to enable caching again.
do the cloudways vultr servers have this litespeed caching technology?
I use Namehero and I did the cache steps; I didn't do the Bunny CDN since it changes some urls. Like for example I have hundreds of citations with my company logo URL and I wouldn't want that url to change. Is Bunny CDN important for a small non e-commerce local business website?
Hi Adam, what you think about Hostinger? I have been using their service for two months. Their support and services are much much better than other high cost web hosting services. I think you can have a look at their service and do a review, if you don't mind.
Hostinger too uses Lightspeed servers. Please have your review on their service.
Thanks a ton Adam, I bought a 1$ hosting server based on lite speed server and nvme ssd in Germany
Earlier it took 4.5 seconds to load now it takes 2.5 seconds without CDN hahahaha thank you so much.
Now I'm trying litespeed cdn setup let see I'll update on that soon
where?
@@Chrizzer88 goviral hosting its a very small company.their servers are with contabo Germany.
Just make sure to take back up of your website as you never know when they wind-up.
A2 Hosting has stopped providing support for Redis on the turbo hosts, just found out after mine was saying test connection failed. Its funny it was working fine and today they've just decided to stop offering support - imagine how many accounts that have it as Redis have failed. It would be worth mentioning this to them Adam.
Omg again with the save! Thanks so much for this video. I hope you can do the LiteSpeed Cache video tut. Do you know why the connection test saltus would be displaying "failed" under the "Object Cache" sections. Is that something to be concerned about? It shows "failed" even before I changed the settings per this video. Again thanks for this vid!
Can you please share how you created the table of contents for this video? I know we can link time stamps in the description manually but I like how it is divided up in the player with the titles of each section. Thanks!
Its a new feature that UA-cam added a few weeks back. You just have to make sure the first time stamp is zero like how you see mine.
@@WPCrafter I tried that and it didn't work at first. It turns out that I had a Bible reference that ended in 13:18 in the beginning of the description which UA-cam was interpreting as a timestamp which confused my table of contents further down. I formatted the Bible reference differently and now it works as seen in your video. Thanks!
Is this recommended with woocommerce website?
@@WPCrafter
Thanks A Lot for your kind information ❤️
Adam, can you tell us what you ARE using CloudFlare for if not for their CDN?
Adam do you mean both A2 & namehero use litespeed tech on sharehosting plans?
Yes both do, but for A2 is on the plan priced at $9.99 per month. The turbo plan.
Can we do this with wprocket?
Hey Adam,
Could you make a video about the difference between shared hosting and cloud hosting.
Also why are prices and features so different on cloudways, from Digital Ocean to AWS
Thanks Adam I really appreciate your great instruction videos!!!!
I am glad you really find solution with my problem that have been contemplating on how to go about it
Million thanks to you for your great value
Is this same for Namecheap?
Well done and God bless you Sir. You are an inspiration.
I think their service is GREAT, but their CDN is not as good as bunnies. I use them together without issue.
lightspeed server technology is just checking the two boxes in the PHP version? Why can't we just call our existing cheap host and ask them to check the boxes instead of using name hero? (then install the lighspeed cache plugin). I ask because I just bought Siteground thinking it was supposed to be faster than my existing host... now do I cancel my order and get name hero??
Hey Adam, you had suggested Cloudways in one of your videos couple of years (if I remember it right) back. Do you still advocate for Cloudways? If you were to do Litespeed caching with Cloudways, would that be possible? And which of these do you prefer if you have your client’s application hosted as well?
Great info. I would like to know which hosting is best for a html&css website (not wordpress)
I did the litespeed stuff but I have connection failed below the object section of the plugin. Please can you help me fix that?
Does SiteGround work with all of these tricks too?
my question too! I just bought Siteground and now I'm confused!! Do I cancel it??
Adam, you outdid yourself on this one. Thank you.
Redis + memcache + opcace must all three be on, it can be control by W3TC
use w3tc + wp rocket best combo!
w3tc controls server side while wp rocket can take care of the caching at visitor side
Thank you. Really good stuff on your channel.
If we are gonna use redis why do we enable memcached too ?
Always useful videos! Thank you again!
Again amazing stuff Adam! Great advice thank you!!!
Penny Penny Penny!!!!! Mob Love Adam, i am on Litespeed server and i tell you i have enjoyed every bit since Dec Last Year.
So, how NameHero Plus its different than SG GoGeek. There's no price difference in good hosting. Price difference it's between good and bad hosting, compared SG vs Bluehost for example
Great video 👍🏻👍🏻
what are some good litespeed capable web hosting providers?
LOVE IT, THANKS BUDDY!
Hi, I want to take a2 hosting shared plan hosting can u tell me that "DRIVE" plan has ultra light speed technology or not. please reply fast. Thanks.
I was going to go with Bluehost but I think I will go with namehero now ! Thanks
Good choice!
@@WPCrafter Hi Adam, so before I decide on hosting for my Worpress, is namehero superior to SiteGround ?
I plan on building an online course site by the way following your june 2019 video with Learndash.
Hey, I noticed that Namehero is not part of the hosting companies on your Hosting page on your website. I'd like to get the FREE COURSES offer on that page. Kindly assist
I would have loved to know this too!
