Just watched your Cloudways review video and now watched this video and saw Kinsta, WPE and FW prices, it seems Cloudways' prices are more attractive than those 3 hosts, plus it's cloud hosting which seems to be a better value than the 3, do you agree? You also mentioned those 3 hosts are more "worry-free" that's why we pay more. How does Cloudways fare compared to the 3 in the "worry-free" regard? Thank you.
Okay I’m planning to change hosting service and I have to admit this is a head scratcher. While I appreciate this video I’ve looked at some other resources CNET, WP Beginners, etc and they all list BlueHost as #1 and typically HostGator not far behind.. They also mention InMotion, SiteGround, A2 as well but they are way down the list. So what gives? I’ve always understood BlueHost, HostGator etc as being second or even third tier hosting services. How/why are they getting these too level marks?
With WPBeginner it's simple, they have like 9 products that Bluehost and Hostgator auto-installs in exchange for that endorsement. Go try one of those EIG companies and have them auto-install WordPress. You will see they also auto installed WPForms, MonsterInsights, OptinMonster, Coming Soon, and a few others, all owned by WPBeginner.
Something that needs to be pointed out is the IONODES limit. I’ve been with Siteground for 3 years now and very happy with them however, they have had to help me reduce my iodes when updraft plus backed up direct to my host and I went over my limit.
Hey Can u telll me that how i secure my managed wordpress site like ssl becz if i take certicate from anwhere thn how i upload becz of no cpanel in managed wordpress
So does this mean that managed WordPress hosting is not shared hosting? As in, I have a dedicated server. I find your terminology confusing because I asked SiteGround and the other providers and they said it is indeed shared hosting. Shared hosting specifically designed for WordPress users.
Hi Adam First of all thank you for sharing your knowledge & expertise. I appreciate it immensely. Your videos are outstanding, informative & easy to follow. Have you created a video on how to migrate from a local hosted wp site to a server ? Thank you in advance
Hi - thanks for the info. Just wondering, for those who are WP based but are probably going to be getting higher traffic, what is the best option here? I cant afford VPS at the moment, and I am with GoDaddy (so very slow, hence I am looking to move!). I see SiteGround and A2 are generally given very favourable views, and the idea of having WP experts to help is appealing, but what if I am hitting higher traffic numbers....? thoughts? Thanks :)
Hey adam... Can you make a video on Cloudways platform... also kindly explain How to setup email add ons both mailbox configuration and transactional email configuration...
uh, are you saying that LifterLMS sites should be on managed hosting not shared hosting? AND, I believe you can have an Amazon AWS wordpress install for free (with some limitations). I think Azure might also have that offer.
I am saying that right now managed WordPress hosting based on cPanel is the sweet spot between price and value. Shared hosting is great for the vast majority of people, but you get more performance on a managed platform for a few dollars extra.
As far as I understand, I think hosting can be shared and managed at the same time, for example, SiteGround has a shared hosting that starts with $3.95/mo and it is also managed, and they have cloud hosting (VPS, which is not shared) that starts with $80.00/mo and it is also managed.
Well when the term Managed is used, it is referring to the hosting environment being optimized for WordPress and the company having a higher level of WordPress specific support. Resources are still shared.

I wouldn't use them for hosting. Lots of issues I have had people report to me on. They are great for registering domain names, they are experts at that, but not at hosting.

Sad, but I figured there had to be some sort of payola involved.

Hey, Adam-
I just found out that SiteGround is no longer PCI Compliant. Does this make them unsuitable as an web host for an Ecommerce store?
So does this mean that managed WordPress hosting is not shared hosting? As in, I have a dedicated server. I find your terminology confusing because I asked SiteGround and the other providers and they said it is indeed shared hosting. Shared hosting specifically designed for WordPress users.
amazing job !
Sir do you have a tutorial of how to create a wordpress site for hotels?
You are so helpful... thank you

inmotion really offers good prices when i compare with other providers, but i confused a bit. Is inmotion really fast as SiteGround?
What gets managed with a managed hosting site?

I would give a serious look at Cloudways. It's an unbelievable value and you'll get amazing performance.
Did you take a look at LiquidWeb? Similar to Flywheel

For a newbie trying to learn, why isn't Bluehost on your list? Just from what I'm seeing online they seem to be industry leaders.
They are not a good host. You see it recommended all over because if you sign up from someone that recommended them, that person will be paid $200 +.
@@WPCrafter Thanks for the quick reply! Your content has been incredible for a non-techie like me.

Cloudways is managed cloud hosting. It's 100% different, but I will get to that.

Even their new managed WordPress hosting?
just a suggestion: your audio sounds like you are in a room without sound dampening/harsh environment.
Yea there are more improvements for me to make.
Yes.. Audio is different on your videos
awesome review
Thank you!! I'll eventually have individual reviews, but this should help anyone know if they want this type of hosting or not.
Awesome tutorial as usual, thank you 😊. When looking to host websites for your customers, which resellers will you recommend?
What is your comments on Bluehost for Managed WordPress Hosting?
He said in another video that the main ones/best marketed/most popular basically rip you off.
ETA on a Cloudways tut?
Also, after reading your review of Cloudways and even though you use them, I feel like you wouldn't recommend them. Is this the case?
Do review wpxhosting! :)
Awesome! :-)
Have you ever tried NameHero as I have heard they are very fast at a good price and they offer a ton of instructional videos to help you out?
