My full size stoeger has a special holster so I can carry it with a light attached and extra magazines not sure about adding a red dot sight to it but for that compact seem cool
For the price, you can afford to have two of them!!

I was just about to sit down and install a Swampfox Kingslayer on my Stoeger STR-9S Combat pistol. I will take information from this vid and apply it to my installation. Thanks for another informative vid.
I hope this helps, but I have a new Video coming up soon on this subject!! What pattern does the Swampfox have??? RMR or 4 Post?? You might need to find some M3 Screws if it is 4 Post, I don't know about the other patters out there, just 4 post and RMR.
@@yrsued The Swampfox uses an RMR pattern. I'll try to get further information to you after I do the installation.
@@johnstanton2853 That is cool, the Stoeger Plate for the RMR takes the Screws that come with the RMR, but the Plate for the 4 Post only takes Metric M3 Screws, which DO NOT match the screws that come with the 4 Post Red Dot, Weird, don't ask me why.
@@yrsued Finished my Swampfox installation. By the way I also installed a Holosun 507C on my Walther PDP 4.5" full size. The Stoeger installation was pretty easy. I had purchased a Wheeler Fat Wrench in anticipation of torquing screws, but I didn't have enough correct sized bits AND the Swampfox installation instructions didn't contain any torque specs. So I pretty much did what your guy did - add Loctite and tighten. I'll see whether it worked when I take both guns to the range to zero and shoot. I have turned my Stoeger into a sort of Roland Special, with the Swampfox, Streamlight TRL-7, and Trybe compensator. Since the gun came with 3 20-round magazines there was no need to update there.
I recently bought a Forged Tec OR OWB holster for the Stoeger which works with everything but the light. They have a lot of different holster types, which you should check out.
I always enjoy your vids, particularly the 1911 updates.

What size screw did you end up using?
Also is there an economical green dot with a circle available ?
I went the easy way, I changed the Red Dot to a 4 post and I used the factory screws, but I couldn't find decent M3 Screws that were long enough, other than the Phillips
how to remove the plate to put the new one in , my stṛ 9 so hard I can't remove it
What is hard about it??? Screws too tight?

Show the removal of the plate as it comes out of the box? I removed the screws, and the plate is not coming off.
Interesting. I no longer have that exact pistol, it was a loaner and I had to return it, but I have a newer model and we will do another video with it.

And checkout C&H Precision too. They make A LOT of plates and mounting screws for adapter plates and rds’s as well if ya ever need any.
We did, but we did some other changes too!! Ace does have Gun Screws, you just have to ask them!

so mine does not have the plate cover removed how do i get that done so i can install a red dot
My first step would be to remove the plate... Or do you mean that your pistol DOES NOT have the Optics Ready Option?? Please explain.

Is the slide Doctor or RMR cut? I can't tell

@@yrsued but you cannot add the optic directly to the slide itself like other handguns?
@@PlazmaZ5 Like the Glock, you attach a plate to the slide and a red dot to the plate, look at the Video.... We do it
@@yrsued yeah I know you guys used a plate. It's just that some handguns have a "cut" built into the slide and thus don't require a usage of one of the plates. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
