The STR9 was my very 1st purchase and was what introduced me to the handgun world back in Dec 2019. My 2nd purchase was a FDE color in 2020, in 2021 I purchased the Combat versionI at that time dubbed the STR9 “Glock Killer” since it looked, shot, and felt like a Glock (G19 gen3) at that time. Obviously I have made different purchase from other brands, but those STR9’s still draw my attention. For the price you cannot go wrong at all. What made me move away from them was the aftermarket support there is for STR9’s. Cool little and cheap collection to get going…..which is why I have been eyeing that compact version.
Stoegers STR9-Combat is well worth a look. Things like Taking away back straps and magazines to make a price point Inevitably leads to a “less than” shooters experience. The combat is the full Monty. It’s a G17 clone with m&p grip angle and all the upgrades!. Threaded match barrel.A flat- faced wide trigger that’s every bit as good as your favorite Glock upgrade. Optics cut with 6 metal adapter plates fits any optic right out of the box. Suppressor height fiber optic sights that cowitness. Removable flared magwell. 3 magazines with mag extensions … you get the idea. It’s well worth a look. Very happy Thanksgiving to you both! Cheers
I own an STR-9. I was very impress with this pistol. Ergo's are right there with the P-10C and Q5 Match IMO. A very accurate and reliable pistol. I have heard their CS is less than stellar tho. Thanks for the share!! As a side note, I painted the front sight neon orange. (Nail polish.)
Did own 2 of the STR9s. My son liked the 4.17 in barrel so I gave it to him for his birthday and kept the 3.8 in barrel. Only had one problem the 1st time I fired the 4.17. The 3rd mag had 2 failure to eject and one stovepipe. After that have not had any problems. I do carry mine once in a while.
I picked up the sub compact last month and I'm really liking this little pistol so far, it's like an upgraded Glock 26 for a third of the price! Speaking of price gun zone deals has it for $229 and stroger is running a $50 rebate until January 15th which makes it $179 it's a no-brainer for that!! It comes with the medium back strap but Stoeger has them for like $6 and change on their site the budget version with one mag does not come with any back straps and extra mags are $35 unfortunately
Ordered two last week at $219 before the rebate. Using the rebates to buy an extra mag each (like you said $35). I have pretty big hands so I am expecting to probably have to get the large back strap for mine and maybe the small for my wife's.
The Subcompact is a wonderful firearm and groups my ammo nicely. Got pissed at a local guy show seeing exorbitant prices so I went to Cabela's and got a great deal for $300. Shoots really flat and accurately.

To the chagrin of some of my Glock-loving family members, I bought the str-9c a few months ago. I didn't have a chance to shoot it, but it fit my hand better than anything else I could find in that size frame. Besides, it was all I could afford. I've put a couple hundred rounds through it with no issues. I like the aggressive stipling in the Florida humidity, and I actually put extra texture (Talon "sandpaper") in a few places. One is under the beaver tail. It provides tactile validation that the web of my hand is placed properly. I bought mags and backstraps for it at MGW -- very prompt delivery.
I purchased this for mountain adventures and it has proven reliable. My STR9c has a 900-round count with a mix of FMJ and defense ammunition. The only time I saw this firearm fail to eject was when a friend was limp-wristing it. Other than that, I have never had an issue with it. This is definitely a great option to consider. Many people tend to pass it up because of the price point, but don't let that fool you. You're getting a Beretta at a Taurus price point. I have quite a few firearms in my collection, ranging from $600 and up, and I tend to carry this one more.
I had the compact version in this video and hated it. I traded it for a different firearm. I then bought the full size version and absolutely love it! Amazing how changing the size makes a world of a difference.

Here is my take away from your experience, you had an issue with a component failure, you contacted the company for warranty, you have yet to get a reply; that does not provide the common consumer with any degree of comfort or reassurance. If they brush off a publication reviewer/guntuber that is well renown and respected in the firearms community, there is less likely of a chance should an average end consumer experience any failures that they will enjoy any correspondence at all. Sorry but I could care less how amazing or affordable of a firearm they produce, if their customer service and aftercare sucks that bad I will not venture to waste my money on their products. I can overlook flukes in quality of manufacture if the company has excellent customer service and is quick to resolve an issue. I cannot forgive ghosting a consumer when they reach out to you with concerns pertaining to a faulty product. The shame of it is I have handled and was seriously considering this brand of firearm. I am glad that I am not an impulse buyer and always do more research because I am not very lucky and would be the guy needing to make a warranty claim and ultimately would be pissed due to having purchased a paperweight. Thanks for your honesty GB Guns because it isn't only the quality of firearm that people purchase that makes or breaks a deal.
I completely understand your opinion. We purchased this gun (from a retailer) with Patron funding. When I contacted them I did so with my real name, so they had no idea who I was. I have been contacted by them since but I declined any special treatment, told them I'd await a reply to my original consumer email. We do have another Stoeger in for review that I hope will be a different experience. When the part broke it may have been partially my fault, but I consider myself to have a decent amount of experience handling pistols and have never had one break on my before during the tabletop video. I believe it was a fluke, but agree the customer service department needs some attention.
I love the lady. Very kind but I wish she was not a part of this channel. Watching women shoot is boring. Just as men dont watch women sports because it is boring. Womens Women's basketball-boring. Womens soccer-boring. Womens football-no such thing because it would be slow, weak and boring. Womens swimming-boring. Women running-boring. And for the most un-interesting womens sport-shooting! This channel would be so much more entertaining if Graham did it all. Maybe just have the lady shoot a short segment, then give womens perspective? I love women, dont get me wrong. They are just boring when it comes to physical skills.
You may not want to watch women shoot, that is certainly your right. However, I want as many women to shoot as much as possible. As I see it, women and young people shooting is one of the only things that will preserve the Second Amendment. Best regards and Happy Thanksgiving.
How is it any less boring than watching a man shoot 🤔 it takes more skill to shoot something intended for a man and to typically do it better I'd say. Sorry, I'm not a simpleton as some men prefer, not sorry.

I have the STR 9, 9C & 9SC. With the exception of my Grand Power Q100, the Stoegers are smooth and accurate handguns. No problems so far.
This is a turkish gun, not designed for women with baby hands
😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️
@@SIGP365 lack of comprehension and misrepresentation. Quote me where I said I dont want women to shoot
How is it any less boring than watching a man shoot 🤔 it takes more skill to shoot something intended for a man and to typically do it better I'd say. Sorry, I'm not a simpleton as some men prefer, not sorry.
@@ms_freemant You prefer womens sports over watching mens sports. Sure Very PC
@@ms_freemant O, I said what I said because I really like this channel and imho this channel would have been over 500k subscribers by now if it had not been for the ladies. Men that are experienced shooters don't watch many amateurs shoot. Graham is skilled. The sweet lady is amateur. That's fine too. But I want to see this channel blow up!
