Awesome video of persistence and perseverance. That's pretty amazing to me that you had the slow muscle up for years before the dynamic muscle up. I am totally in the opposite direction of my muscle up journey. Thanks for your motivating video.

@@Summerfunfitnesshey girl, can you do another video in depth of a muscle up?
I recently started doing calisthenics & I am locked in, found your channel & been watching to improve even more. I did Bodybuilding for years & always wanted to do calisthenics never stuck with it, since my second child I knew I needed a big change & I am never going back to Bodybuilding.
I’ve been focusing on a muscle up now for 3 weeks slowly getting more strength

Did you do gymnastics for many years? Or any other sports? You have the precision and strength of a long-time gymnast! Inspiring.

Love the spirit here ! Thank you for sharing your thoughts as well ! Currently working on this and like you, trained in slow controlled moves to build muscle and not explosiveness! Will add this to my practice 🙌🐒💪

Slow music me-ups, press to handstands, for someone with no gymnastics experience she’s amazing.

I needed to watch this today. Have been trying to learn MU, dynamically and strict etc but feel like I am super far from the goal. Progression is not linear and sometimes I wonder if it’s possible.
Qn: Is it all about repeating the knee drive and till you succeed in the MU?
Lastly, thanks for sharing your journey. I’d keep trying the dynamic MU without bands like you recommend.

I am not sure if you have addressed it anywhere Summer, but how many hours are you training (realistically) a day (week)?
I am planning out my goals for the next two years and am curious that if when I get my basic strength sorted, what is the time impact to work on calisthenics.

How did you get to 16 clean pull-ups.
I’ve added on pull-up each month but now I am stuck on 7 clean pull-ups for 4 months. How do I break through?
