The most important thing to note from this video --> "Jacquelyn has been working for years to get to this stage, and it is not an easy process to get there. But if you are consistent, it can happen." Not enough people realize the work it truly takes to get to this level of mastery! Great progressions
I never understood why in CrossFit push ups are thought this way, you are gonna need your chest in dips and most movements do prioritize your arms and shoulders anyway. Taking away the involvement of the chest just makes it lag behind even more.
I didn't watch, paused during the initial ad. Just want to say, that when I see words "the best tutorial" in the title, I skip that video almost automatically. This time I made an exception :)
Not sure what the point of this movement is, when it's not uptimal for building muscle and strength? Everything was great if we just remove the swinging. If we want to cheat, then just bring a forklift and help her get up there.
Totally agree. If you're hanging on different object, and you have no strength in your false grip try to swing, you will end up on your head haha this swinging tutorial is totally a joke. for the people who really want to learn the ring muscle up check this video of: Troy Nevrela how to ring muscle up. the best out there in my opinion
As a calisthenics and ring athlete this hurt my eyes. Rings = strict form, slow, controlled movement and compound muscle movements OH AND FALSE GRIP. She's lucky she didn't tear her rotator cuff doing that.
As a CrossFit athlete, I listen to your opinion but I don't care about In the meantime you are doing 5 strict muscle-up, I am doing 10/15 this way. And when I train or when I'm in a competition, I have to be fast, not necessarily perfect form, slow and controlled. What your saying it's like comparing a sprinter to a sunday jogger. They are both running, but no way they are doing the same thing. Do them as you like, and if you don't like the video pass over
It obvious people don’t understand the point of CrossFit vs calisthenics vs powerlifting etc.. CrossFit’s purpose is efficiency, so sure, you calisthenics guys are stronger than us in terms of strict, body weight movements. I won’t deny that, however, we are better at higher volume of reps while maintaining speed. They are 2 totally different worlds. It’s comparing apples to oranges.. both fruits, 2 different kinds. If you want to hop into a CrossFit workout with your strict everything mindset, please do and attempt to beat whoever you’re going against in terms of the for time format. But until you understand the basis and purpose of our sport and why we move like we do, don’t act like we are wrong. You’ll never touch us in terms of overall fitness and capacity amongst various movements.
Cross fit shouldn’t be disrespected. I lift and do calisthenics but CrossFit literally turns people into soldiers😂 they’re jacked, athletic, and in the end, it’s better than being obese.
You can call it whatever you like but please don't call it rings muscle up (Cross fit version, what that even means?). They are anything but muscle up!! Calisthenics/Gymnastic strict (not swigging ) rings muscle ups are the only truly beautiful movement out there and true expression of real strength... By the way the only beautiful thing in this tutorial is Jacklyn ;-)
This isn’t supposed to take as much strength because it’s done in competition for more reps. It’s like a crazy arch in a powerlifters back when doing bench press. I would consider this a CrossFit muscle up and the other, a muscle up or strict muscle up.
Bruh of course this type of movement isn’t used for gaining strength you’re acting like a football player should tell a basketball player to call dribbling a different way cause he uses it with his hands, two different sports/objectives and ways calm down
People hate crossfit because it's too hard for them. It actually requires you to push yourself to your limits. But hey most people like sitting at a basic gym and doing bench press while waiting 30 minutes in between sets. To each their own 😂

Lol if a kipping ring muscle up it's hard work i wouldn't even imaginate the hard work that takes to complete an strict muscle up
@@alejandron4835 I do wish that had been emphasized/talked about as something you should first learn, rather than starting with kipping
Excellent thank you
Really great tutorial thank you John! 💪🏼
Great work Jacqueline
Congratulations. And thank for your video. I pretend get this level
Very helpful.
are these kipping ring muscle ups starting from a dead hang or active shoulders (like on a bar kip swing)? Thanks!
Great tutorial!!! how do you prevent someones legs from coming up too high in the transition part?
Often it has to do with improving timing of the turn over.
Maestros !!!
👑🚀Very nice tanning and with perfect British accent👑🔥🇬🇧 🏴🔥👑❤
Where can I get those gloves
Victory Grips. I have a pair too and they are amazing. No chalk needed.
I have a feeling that he can't do it
Amazing!

Great technique no momentum used love cross fit people they should be come gymnasts 🦾
How it is no momentum used if she comes to transition from swing?
Nice joke i hope it is one
@@urbaanidze i know 😂
Gymnasts should watch and learn about body control and mobility
i fell for it and watched it 🙈
I will never want to look like a flailing fish when doing a muscle up
Trueee
The gtfo a crossfit video and go do your own thing instead of talking shit
Ikr, she's lucky not to have torn her shoulder whilst swinging like that, rings is all about form and control and limiting swings
Jokers haven't even watched this video the thumbnail was enough cross fit stay away from calisthenics unless your going to do it properly
would love to see them doing a Fran 😂

Glad to read this!
The most comprehensive tutorial on how not do a muscle up properly. Btw, get parallel bars.
She's a beast
Jack?
RING SWINGS? There should be NO SWINGS of any kind
theres no sound
Why? Why? Why can't you just simple learn the proper movement starting from the floor and move up? No need to swing like a dying worm
That’s how it’s done in crossfit as well this is just an efficient way of doing it in workouts but not to gain strength
Thumbnail says it all - no ring muscle ups will be demonstrated here. Keep on swinging.
Not sure what the point of this movement is, when it's not uptimal for building muscle and strength?

No false grip, no ring muscle up!
At least he said it was ring muscle-up with kipping.

Nobody doing the movement like this is doing a muscle up, it's a poorly performed front up-rise.

There are so many ADs.........
Strict push up, strict dips, strict pull up, then teaches crap form on the muscle up.
0!!!!!!!!!
Muscle-ups with swinging and kips are cheating imho
omg this is a dirty muscle up. Strict gymnastics style muscle ups with false grip is better
Lollololololol 😂😂😂😅😅😅😂😅😂😅😂😅hahahahahah
That was a horrendous demonstration of a "ring muscleup"
:D :D :D :D :D
If your doing a ring muscle up it’s wrong 😂
crossfit smh
I was literally gonna comment the same thing smh 😂 but it does look fun with the swing i must say
