Got mine 2 days ago i ran it and it didnt crawl as slow and smooth as i wanted i was getting ready to order new motor esc but i did a quick remote change to a dumbo rc remote and reciever and it made a huge difference !!now it crawls smooth and not as jerky it was hard to control in ruff tight spots before but now it just creeps and move slow and even doesnt jump on throttle i also think its handles better on 2s.Nice review man
My next New Rig will be the Early Bronco SCX 10 iii Axial just released. Got the 10.3 kit but sold it off before I built it. will get the RTR and maybe a kit when its released as well. Not a Ford Guy but my Lady Is and I can see she'll want one, So I'll probably end up with 2 or 3 of them. heh.
I have the AXE Version I picked up in March 2020. Just did a 1 yr review on my channel. Not done much use vids. but going to work on that. Most of my vids are work/build/repair/mod vids since I got back into RC last year.
You weren’t wrong going with the gen 8 I’ve had my v1 since they came out have not had an issue at all but the Velcro wears out quickly and you’ll probably want to install the magnets and I also installed the mod 1 steel gears
In my opinion it’s a good starter crawler then you will get bored and you will move up to TRX 4 for 200 more have a two speed trains on remote and locking and unlocking diff but it’s a great crawler my girl loves it

Cool thanks for watching. They are great. After driving the Wraith Spawn it's even more evident the Gen8 V2 is a tank for the money and the Wraith is hardly a bargain even after 110$ discount.

Redcat gen8 is a nice car.
The basics are good and show excellent performance.
The scout body design is good because it has its own personality.

Will it go more places than a gen8 v2 though? I mean unlocking the diffs and cruising in road gear is cool and all.
