I've been doing yoga for about 18 years now (and I think I found your videos about a year ago, but I'm usually watching on my TV and can't post a comment from there). Your videos are the first time I feel like I'm in the correct headspace during yoga. You keep me from being distracted (or bring my mind back to my mat when I am), and I'm able to apply these relaxing and focusing techniques throughout my day, off the mat too. Videos like this one and the hips and shoulders stretch one, really help with my chronic shoulder/neck pain and hip pain. Thanks for the variety and providing wonderful 15- and 20-minute videos I can work into my busy days.

So delighted to have discovered this channel. As a Long distance endurance Runner, I used to do Yoga for stretching, but abandoned it a few years back with shift to Gym Workouts. During Lockdown decided to start Yoga from last week. I realised how STIFF I have become. My muscles hurt. So today I started the stretching workouts. Ever since I started Sarah Yoga I’ve been hooked. I’m overweight and still on my way to loose to feel my best and yoga has helped me more aware of my body and more importantly who I am in my body. I make modifications on my own to accommodate for a bad knee but still keep on as the workout goes. Thanks SarahBeth! You’ve helped me!
This is one of my two favourite videos of hers that I do almost daily now for the past couple months. The other is the 25 min slow stretch for hips. Both have made such a difference in my flexibility and to keep leg pain away. Sometimes, I do both on the same day, other days I alternate. I love her - she is so calming. I listen when she says to resist the urge to do, and to let that balloon go!
I started Sarah Beth yoga a year ago. My goal is a half pigeon. Getting close! It has changed my world. I feel better, more flexible, notice even during the day I find myself focusing on breathing. I have tried other yogis just to see, no one compares to Sarah Beth. I am addicted. Thank you!!!

Being a mother of 3 i dont always find the time for a strict hour long workout at the gym, but knowing i can come here while my kids are napping and get my body back has been so benifitial during the first year of covid and now year 3 PC (post covid). I started my weight loss journey November 2020 at 232 lbs. It has been a slow but steady journey, i now weigh 181 lbs in May 2022. I'm half way to my weight loss goal and i wouldnt of been able to reach this far if it wasn't for the great quality and motivation you bring to each video. Simply being told "You are where you need to be" has been crazy uplifting, i know i can't be the only one who feels the same. Here's to me being halfway to my goal thanks to your dedication! :) (For those also on their weight loss journey, mine has consisted of all standing workouts by total body project, yoga with sarah beth, adding a few vegan alternatives to my diet, not drinking soda or juice but thats cause its not realistic in my budget, its taken me so long because i am in no way shape or form consistent and i dont ban any foods, half plate of vegetables or fruit with lunch and dinner, and i've been noticing my calorie intake was way higher than it should be, although i dont count calories i do look at them to get an estimate of what im at the moment putting in my body, i take the stairs instead of elevaters whenever i'm not with one of my kids or im not carrying something too heavy, if youre a binger like me chug a glass of water and eat a fruit or a small plate of veggies before a binge, that way you'll end up not binging as much as you would have)

Amen re. the usual yoga talk as in "affirmations". I've tried to practice with one popular yoga teacher. The practice was ok but she repeatedly encouraged to say things like "I believe in the innate goodness in people". Hated that, so distracting

I always used to struggle in gym or exercises or with yoga asans which focused on aasans and not on the experience on it, just because the pace they would teach, just didn't felt to be right one for me.
