Ohhh, those look so delicious! I have seen a couple videos on stuffed cabbage rolls but yours look indescribably scrumptious. The thickened tomato gravy at the end did it for me 😊

They look delicious, but next time try remove the thick bitter rib on the leaves before you roll them.

I love how you do the bacon and the onion & rice. I've always learned to add sauerkraut and tomato juice & water to cook in, in mine and its soooo yummy!! Great recipe!

@@cookingpolish when you do, let me know what you think! I just love the flavor the sauerkraut gives it. I always make rice to go along to soak up the juices. Yum!! 🥰

Just like pierogies with it ALL being in the correct "pinch"? With golumkis it's ALL in the ROLL and fold of the end of the cabbage leaf at the end! Nice technique. Perfect!

Yes! The right pinch is everything ☺️

My grandma used to make these decades ago and I just remembered they exist. Yours look better with a few extra ingredients, will try your recipe. You have more self control than I do though, no way a bowl of cooked bacon is going to sit next to me and not be half eaten by the time I need to use it.

Hahaha! I totally get it! There was some snacking, off camera. No one shall ever know how many bowls of bacon were used to make this video...😜😂

This looked just like I used to get at my favorite Polish restaurant. Maybe a silly question, but I used to get a tomato soup with rice in it. It was simple but fantastic. Any chance to make that, or potato pancakes?

Your comment brought back my childhood memories, Brian! My babcia used to make the best tomato soup with rice when I was a kid. I still remember the soup bowl she served it in. I’ll add it to my list, as well as the potato pancakes. Thanks for the yummy suggestions! 😁

Definitely a different recipe than I've seen before. Looks good though. Not the same as my grandmother's recipe. I guess everyone has their own.

My mother made these thru out my life ,,She hand ground her meat (always the cheap stuff},,I finealy reproduced her taste,,using a hand grinder like she did,,But my mom is now gone and i`m on my own to make them ,,Every time i make them for my wife and I,,I remember sitting down at Christmas,,or Easter with the whole family of 10 kids
