This, by far, has to be one of the best videos I've ever seen on any channel. The experience of being able to share a candid recipe with a parent and see the connection you have to him is almost overwhelming. Your dad has a great sense of humor and to hear him talk a little about communist times was very enlightened. My best wishes to your whole family.
Enjoyed watching you and your dad cooking together. Reminds me of my dad showing me how to make golabpki’s. It has been over 20 years since my dad passed away and I miss cooking and talking with him. Hope to see your dad in more videos, he has a great sense of humor. Pick on Mark day!
Oh what a great video, brought back so many great memories, when I was a kid. Loved cooking with my biachi, her talking Polish me talking english. But we understood each other.
Nothing better then family recipes.🤗 Can't wait to try this. Exactly my type of recipe, E a s y 👍 not to mention, I love everything cabbage ❤️. Your dad looks like he had fun. Loved his s.o.s. to your mother 🤗
My favorite video! What a delight to see you and your Dad cook together and create wonderful memories! The stuffed cabbage looked amazing….even at 7:00 AM!! 🤗 Sharon
I love your Dad, what a sweet and nice man, love listening to you speaking polish, even if I only understand a little, that's how my did hamburgers with the bread.
It is called Polish hamburgers. You use bread crumbes to cover burgers on both sides and fry them. Polish hamburbers are made half half from pork and beef and grated onion and spices. They are different but similar to American burgers. hehehe
I just love watching your shows..especially with your father .my father was Polish and my Mother Scottish..Dad taught Mum to cook Polish food..Mum was a great cook anyway..but we all loved Polish food..My Late Husband was Lithuanian..so we always ate European..Love your demonstrations.🥂🥰💗
What a treat to have your dad show us how to make his favorite dish! How many will this serve? Eight, easily. If Mark likes it, only two. That's a classic right there. Such a great, feel-good episode, start to finish.
I have been studying Polish for two years now and I really appreciated the conversation with your father in Polish,it absolutely helps me with proper pronunciation. When I was growing up in Pennsylvania,my grandmother would prepare something similar but she called them " blind pigeons".
What a great video. Nice seeing you and your Dad cook. I've never seen this before but oh so easy. Hooe you do more videos with family members. Maybe even you and your daughter
We’ll probably film with Adzia’s mom next, but our daughter will not be featured. The internet can be a cruel place and I don’t want to my little girl on UA-cam just yet. Thanks for watching!
Your father cooks like my grandmother did. Never with a recipe, a pinch of salt (means until it tastes good). This brought back such wonderful memories. Thank you.
I really enjoyed watching your dad cooking and chatting. I hope you have him on again. The way you two interact with each other is wonderful. The recipe looks wonderful! Thanks for another great video!
Thank you Anna's dad for sharing a piece of your family's tradition. That may be part of why it's your favorite meal...the memories that it carry or possibly your favorite aunt's dish. Anna please cook with your dad live again so he can share more (you look/work well together). I know I'll love to add this to my menu just like the cabbage rolls.
😱😭could only watch to 3.19 minutes before crying my eyes out. I miss my Dad and cooking with him so much. Life has not been the same since he died. TY for posting though. I'll be back daily until I can watch it to the end. Hugs sent to you both ...Kasia in New York 😘
I'll be shopping for these ingredients tomorrow! Can't wait to taste it too! You have a very sweet father. Makes me miss my own Polish dad. He was a sweet, kind man too who loved his family very much.
So so great to see your dad with you ❤❤❤❤❤❤ He's so much looks like my dad!!!! I miss my polish father he's gone to the big boy in the sky my dad was a MasterChef... we need to see more of him 🥰🥰🥰🥰
So nice to be introduced to your dad. Hope to see your mom sometime too. Periodic guest appearances with them serving up a favorite dish along with a story would be enjoyable!
How special this is.......cooking with your Dad ! My mom used to cook everything by eye & taste. She never measured. Then she would taste the raw mixture to make sure it was seasoned properly. I’m making these next time instead of rolling gołombki. Thank you ❤️🇵🇱😋
That's so much quicker than stuffed cabbage rolls, but feeds less people as I can see each person getting a quarter of the cabbage, unless you cut the cabbage into 8ths! Looks delicious! I love alone, so I would make the rolls and freeze what I don't use right away! I like a tomato sauce on the rolls and maybe this also! Thanks for sharing. Cool to see your dad help.
Loved watching you cook with your dad. I am learning Polish and listening to the language during the demonstration was an additional perk for me. My dad rarely spoke Polish as I was growing up, but I am hearing the words that slipped into his speech and enjoying the language during the instructions. dziekuje, pa
Hi Anna....this is a fantastic video....love the recipe....very different and delicious...your Dad is great....heartwarming...thank you...Happy New Year....GOD bless❤
I loved the pot that you used in cooking the head of stuffed cabbage where can I find that cooking pot withy the Dome and pur5chase great idea of stuffing head was very tasty
I am lucky to understand all you say guys in Polish and English. Hehehehe "Troche duza, jedna mam w brzuchu." All these nuances. hehehe Love your channel.
Sweet episode. Will have to try this. It’s interesting-my Polish grandmothers all used Kaiser rolls moistened with milk in meatballs, meat patties, meatloaf and even to stuff our Thanksgiving turkey, all of which I still do. Also a nice reminder of my own ciocia.
Wow!!! Really great that your Dad was with you. I'm half Polish and half Ukrainian from Michigan. Don't know much of the Polish language, but 3/4 of what your Dad was saying I could pick up on. Is that a Slavic thing? We use the Cyrillic alphabet and Polish spelling still evades me. Big thumbs up, like and Kudos to you. Fairly recent channel subscriber here.
I enjoy your shows very much at this time I am looking for a recipe for a polish bread called kowach I looked at your web site and was not able to find a recipe for it would you be able to help my mom used to make it around the holidays and my grandfather used to get from a bakery on the north side of Chicago any help would be appreciated thanks
Your Dad is great! I bet he and Mark get along just fine. But you made Mark stay behind the camera drooling over your Dad's stuffed cabbage. No fair. And BTW I love your channel. And when I say "your" I mean You and Mark. Mike
Loved your video. I am half Polish, but can't remember all of the language. Thank you for putting on the sub-titles. I have the cabbage & will run out to get the pork today. One question; what kind of pot are you using? I never saw something like that.
What a treat to have your Dad as a guest! He has a great sense of humour.
This, by far, has to be one of the best videos I've ever seen on any channel.
The experience of being able to share a candid recipe with a parent and see the connection you have to him is almost overwhelming.

Dads taste was priceless of the Stuffed cabbage. He didn't have to say a word.
Your dad has a great sense of humor. It was a very interesting dish. My Polish husband had never seen that recipe. Looked good.

@@markhurning8051 I fully understand about not having your daughter on. Respectfully.
I understand also BUT I like the "just yet" part. It'll be nice to see her with grand poppa.
