@South Metro Fire Rescue PIO can you guys introduce all the firetrucks and equipment in South Metro and also maybe once a month introduce surrounding negihbours fire departments their history, special culture and stuffs...etc. Thanks!
Hey Connor & Eric, Trying to get caught up on your great videos & VLogs so I thought I'd finally comment. Another Brother & I have watched several at the firehouse during our free time or lunch & we greatly enjoy your channel! I am not sure if anyone knows this but Laurence Binyen on the memorial is spelled with an an O and not an E. His poem is a very long war remembrance written in 1914 and your memorial quotes the 13-16 stanzas of a 28 stanza poem. It is very fitting to use for our Fallen Brothers and Sisters just as it was meant for all the Fallen War Heroes it was written for. Just thought I'd let you know when I looked it up. You both certainly have a cool job & its also not an easy one! I've been on both sides of the cameras so I have some insider experience! Love it and keep up the great work Brothers & Sisters of South Metro Fire Rescue! "I am not here for me, I am here for We & WE are her for THEM" author unknown Sincerely Brad Hoff Lt./E.M.T. Station tour videos, more Unscripted and other behind the scenes. Maybe more videos from the training center and stuff like that? These videos are great, I really liked the rundown of the various scenes you've been out on since the last video. Heard about most of those from you or on the news but hearing it from you is far better. Keep up the videos!
Thanks Eric and Connor 👏👏 these are great videos that show interesting info and the real life scenes are great 😁😁 please keep on doing these videos 👍😎💕.
A segment explaining how South Metro works. Like a complete call, from 911 to dispatch to station to response to completion. Also a segment on the department brass, lets meet the chiefs. And I like the station tour, engine tour ideas.
Love the videos! I know you have other duties than just to put updates on UA-cam, so love when you get a chance to do them. I have been in emergency services (police, fire, medic) for the last 30 years and the one thing that always amazes me is, I can walk into any fire station unannounced for a visit and leave feeling like a member of that department. Your videos do that in a virtual way, making everyone that watches feel like a part of South Metro.
I think you should what west metro does and go to every fire house and talk about the station and apparatus and also a video about the hiring process and requirnments to be on south metro
I would just like to say thanks you to the staff from South metro poi for allowing us to see what you do. being from the UK we don't get to see much from inside our fire service
You probably won't ever see that happen because of HIPAA. Also they want this to be a channel for all ages so they are probably protecting the innocent from seeing things they shouldn't. PIOs job is to provide information to the public & news affiliates during emergencies as well as showcasing the department to show the citizens they protect & provide services to on how their department is working on their behalf & what their tax dollars are going to and not using it as a reality show like live rescue. Just my point of view being a firefighter & a part of the Fire Service for 35 years & filming a reality series called The Battalion TV.
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO I thought the engine along the road at the second fire might be a type 3, so I was wondering what it's role at a residential fire might be. But now I see it has a ladder rack, and it is a West Metro engine.
Do some sort of station tour / unscripted episode of the fire station on Broadway in Littleton (can't remember station name, I think station 12 but take it with a grain of salt.)
Because South Metro is a unified department, made up of many different smaller departments that have merged over the years. The order on the stone follows the order of the deaths, in the order of the mergers. So Castlewood was on top as they merged a long time ago and Littleton is on the bottom since they just completed the merge at the start of 2019.
I need engine 41 and 42 I just got a call from the person who's house was on fire and they said that they were going to remolding it and one of the election accidentally left the electricity and it caused a fire
Showing the map along with each fire was nice to see the area and surrounding cities.

@southMetro That memorial was for my father in laws dad! They appreciate the coverage and the ceremony every year. Thank you!

So you mentioned the dates are out of order but you never explained why.....so why are they?? Another amazing video, THX.
Littleton Fire Station #4 (now SMFR Station 14) had a Dalmation dog in the late 1970's.

I think it would be cool if you would show the apparatus that South Metro has along with the equipment each truck carries. Keep up the great work.
From a vol firefighter in Missouri to yours be safe out there
Do the pio ever ever do normal firefighter work when they get called out
Love these vlogs!!! One thing I would like to see is you guys riding on the apparatus especially the ambulance.
You probably won't ever see that happen because of HIPAA.

I do enjoy watching these.
Great video, and i was wondering if Connor ever gets to see any of her former co-workers when you talk with the media
I love your videos, keep up the good work.
That is very itching you do ur remembering for each fallen brother
It would be interesting to get a look at your photography/videography gear, and how you package/carry it while on scene.
What’s up Eric thanks again for the path
It would be cool if this year came down to the memorial in the Springs
Does Eric function as communications on the fire ground? And does one of the stations run an interface engine as their first out apparatus?

1:23 Radio: hmm hmmm hmmmm mhmmmm mmhmma second floor
Man, those sideburns, though..........
Were you guys hired as pio’s or is this a position that is available for firefighters once they are hired?
I love your videos
I live in San Antonio and the SAFD lost a firefighter Scott Deem in 2017 while battling a 4 alarm fire
Wow, Big Cat !!
You guys should do met-com Vehicle for fleet Friday.
Love it... Great job!!!
Are the black and red pierce units South Metro’s own, or another department adopted into South Metro?
That’s what I thought. (Besides the Black and Red looks better)
Can you go over and explain your accountability system looking for ideas to make ours work better
What's the black truck for?
Who takes home the PIO truck?
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO Is the Tahoe marked?
What about the oncall part-time PIO?

What was the reasoning why the names/dates are out of order on the memorial?
Because South Metro is a unified department, made up of many different smaller departments that have merged over the years. So Castlewood was on top as they merged a long time ago and Littleton is on the bottom since they just completed the merge at the start of 2019.
Is that a tattoo on Eric's cheek?
What does PIO mean?
Public information officer.
nice cougar
