I like the new type of doors for moving the trucks. Some of ours are like yours where you have to back in and others have the back doors, which I think is easier.
Back doors are essentially safer also, because it eliminates having to back in to the structure. Backing accidents are/were (not sure if it still is) one of the leading accident causes. And for some reason even with spotters things still got hit. It happens.
Thanks for the videos! Hands down love the station tours as well as viewing the equipment used in different areas. Keep up the good work and thanks for your service!
Thanks Eric and Connor 👏👏😎💕 awesome and interesting video of the new fire station 😎 it's certainly large and spacious ** thanks for the sneak peek 😁 congratulations on the new station 👏👏 that dishwasher looked really terrible ... glad to hear that the garage fire was not serious ....
Wow. I live in Southern California, but I know one thing, I’d move to Colorado just for an opportunity to work for SMFR. Going through a ff1/2 academy right now. So far I’ve earned my HAZMAT FRO and FRO-D, Fire Control 3B, Firefighter Safety and Survival.. and multiple other certifications both from the structural and wildland sides. I’ve been watching SMFR videos for about a year or so and it seems like one of the best departments ever. I love the videos.
Have you seen the Littleton SMFR video? It talked about the origins of the Paramedic program in the area. Here is a link. ua-cam.com/video/0m0ioU3bmkY/v-deo.html
NO WAY! I was wondering if you were going to show the house with the garage fire. I actually was there the next day to address/fix the gas lines, being the one in call for the company I work for. They got it out quick and he got very lucky! Small world!
You should do a video on all of the different fire apparatus out of all the houses and when you have footage of iccidents you should have radio traffic with it two if possible you Should also have the captain from the first station 32 video tour do a full tour of the station
Really wouldn't mind working at station 32 reminds me more of a hotel than fire station, if anyone is interested in what my local stations look like search up either Feltham fire station or Heston and Isleworth fire station.
Really loving the videos, here is a suggestion for you, pick someone who is applying for your dept, follow him/her from initial application, through testing, through academy and then to first rig assignment. While so interview them on how they are preparing for the next step in the process (exercise program for physical, how they prepare for interview etc) I know this would be long, and seeing it in writing, it might be better to have them video as much as they can themselves, for those that don't make it.)
I'm curious, and I'm very late on this, the Doors on the station look like older doors, but electrical. or is that because the station is in an older, more classic style area? or it is a style thing? cause it fits.
So I’m assuming you guys transport since you’re rescue too. Is every firefighter a Paramedic too or just EMT or what’s the deal? Also random question but what’s your whole departments call volume per yr? Thanks!
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO is the other apparatus als equipped or just the ems rigs. I know you guys rotate on and of ems to truck ect. But does t 32 have als equipment

cool an FD or district that actually does video blogs. slight problem though in the station or your office the audio seems fine or when you're say going to a call and on the radio but if it's you talking in the vehicle most of us myself included can hardly hear you. Can you fix that please? thanks.
Thanks for the answer. I am a german paramedic (Rettungsassistent) and i work on an ambulance and on a car with a doctor. I have 24h Shift and 3 days off duty or i drive 12h shifts 3 or 4 times the week. That's my choice. or I hope I can do it again. I have been ill with cancer for a year :(
Hi Eric and Connor & greeting from Australia, thank you for the tour of station 32 I'm located In a remote part of Australia where all our fire brigades are staffed by volunteers, In rural Australia our firefighting agency is known as the CFA (Country Fire Authority). I'm a brigade member but not an active firefighter due to medical reasons. Our town's tiny fire station got a new building several years ago & we are equipped with 3 vehicles, Here's a documentary on our town's fire brigade which celebrated its centenary a few years ago: ua-cam.com/video/uLHRTXt57hQ/v-deo.html

I’d love to see a Station 38 Tour if possible!

How about videos of the different divisions in South Metro (Training, Safety, Chiefs etc.).

That is an insanely nice and large fire station
The female firefighter is gorgeous as hell!
Spyda she’s not a firefighter. Just a civilian PIO within the department. Use to be a news reporter before doing this gig.
She will see this
@Randy Chase Don't be a dick. Just because you don't find her gorgeous doesn't mean she isn't.
Love the station bay doors!
I loved seeing another video! Keep it up! One thing I would love to see is what exactly your job is day to day and the overall goals of PIOs.
Talk about SMFR EMS, protocols, a look into the ambulance and maybe interview your EMS Chief or Paramedic in Charge?

That’s pretty freaking awesome!!! It looks like a house. Very nice station
Nicest stations I've ever seen. I might need to apply
I have never seen a fire station this nice in my life
Beautiful station! I wish I my station looked like that!
12 bedrooms! That’s crazy for even a new fire station
Parabéns a Station 32 South Metro , um forte abraço a todos direto do Brazil
So happy we got to keep that wall!

I agree, more POV response videos if possible. I know you don't respond emerg all that often, but when you do we'd love to see it!

Love the videos you guys do on the channel. Some day i want to join the SAFD and i I know all about being a firefighter
Apparently made for permanently having 4 probies since they want 12 crew but only 8 recliners.
I think that dishwasher is done.
this is the nicest fire house ive ever seen

Nokoa It‘s calles First Due, which means the first Units to arrive at the scene. In Station‘s 11 first due they will arrive first at the location
