Being an indian i can only say this event proved the capabilities of F16's are far superior than ageing mig 21s.

F-16s weren't used in this dogfight. Only the JF-17s were used which are specifically active in service for performing lead defensive and offensive traits. As per India claims that they downed a F-16, go and check the report of US defence who confirmed it themselves that none of the planes were missing in bizarre situations.

An independent Kashmir is impossible in between three nuclear countries, if India gives up the legal ascension claims, Pakistan will swallow Kashmir and will gift Ladakh to China.

What happened to the second pilot that Asif Ghafoor mentioned? Did he dissappear from the face of the earth
That is called fog of war as two Army searches were carried out and they thought both of the groups found their pilots but in reality they found abhinandan . Similarly fog of war took place on Indian side as well causing Friendly Mi-17 Shot down ! If you have nothing to prove about shooting down Paf F-16 other then this statement then this is not credible enough .
Pak did the 'worst' 'bombings' of 21st century inside 'Indian' territory on that day. Whether F16, Su30 or Mig21 was shot down or not is not an issue. Downing of Indian jets and capturing Indian pilot made me so happy. The speed with which that pilot's interview was aired dismantled the spin Indian government was giving to the events. Pakistani military made the nation proud that day. Indian military wanted to establish an equation similar to the one Israel has established with Palestinians. The first step toward that goal failed, however Indians will try again harder. India has set it's sights on capturing territory. I hope those in charge are prepared.

Had Swift Retort been successful, Modi wouldn't have integrated Kashmir, he abrogated article 370 within 6 months. IAF killed jaish e mohd terrorists, hence no terror attacks thereon in India. India got JeM banned, the same organisation whose aide Omar saeed Sheikh went on to trap Daniel Pearl and assassinate. Best result was , Pak reeling 3 more years under FATF grey list.
