Great video, I'd like to add some details for anyone installing one on a 03-06 G35 sedan. Due to the trunk sitting low behind the rear subframe, you need to put the bolt through the hole from the differential side. Its an odd fit to get your hand up in there, but it will go. Also, if you're installing the other version of this brace with the flat panel that connects to the diff, I would take a small file and file down the raised casting line on the differential. It helps the brace sit flush on the differential when you're bolting it down.

That Diff brace and a solid aluminum rear bushing would make a great setup for the track. My Factory Sport Suspension and White Line bushing is already plenty firm for every day street driving.
It definitely would make the rear setup very stiff for the track.

Ahh I remember paying 40k for my 350z GT in 2005, then putting a turbonetics single on with the JIC titanum single. Now you can buy a 350z for 5k, glad I sold it when I did.
What did you replace it with?
@@AnthonyJ350 i sold it for a 2003 cobra, I'v had about 24 cars, my newest is a 2021 durango hellcat.
Nice I also replaced my diff bushing with solid & also got the z1 diff cover to add half a qt more ! To keep my gears cooler and lubricate
We'll put a Z1 cover on when we switch to a Wavetrac limited slip.

I see no issues, you definitely want to upgrade the stock differential bushings, they're probably worn out by now, especially the rear carrier.

Good question. I just put in new fluid before I installed the brace. I'll have to go look under the car and check for you.
Driving impressions? I have the Z1 poly diff bush and am considering this or the GKTech brace but my Z sees about 50% street use so don't want to affect NVH
I'll have driving impressions in the summer. Still doing a bunch of stuff to the car.
Don't quote me on this but I do believe the brace for the stock diff cover will not fit the Z1 cover.

@@AnthonyJ350 ah ok, so you got the Z1 model and just put it on the stock cover then, the one designed for stock cover only is different.
@@crimsonsw21 That's correct. This newer version is flat up top so it can accommodate my tie brace as well.
