  • 350z Rear Diff bushing installation. This is a worth-while upgrade as most of you probably have a failed stock diff bushing at this point. It can be a bit of a tough project, but it is actually quite doable with a little bit of patience and some hand tools.

    No kidding on that bushing! What a pain. I had to use an air hammer with a sharp chisel to cut the outside ring out. I was covered in black oil😂

    My mechanic installed my rear z1 poly diff bushing but it pokes out towards the rear of car by about 3-4mm, not flat to the surface of the frame. Is this going to be an issue? Thx

    Do you have to grease the polyurethane subframe and differential bushings before install?

      For the price, it’s hard to beat! Really low profile so it’s nice. Lifts smooth and holds strong.

  • @skyeroy29

    For the big, rear bushing, do you remember if you got it completely in and flush with the subframe, or did you have that protrusion of the bushing sticking out that meets with the diff? Hopefully that makes sense

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  Рік тому +1

      It is pretty flush on the rear-facing toward the back of the car. There is a slight protrusion on the forward side of the subframe that meets the diff itself.

  • @Beesknees4trees
    @Beesknees4trees 3 місяці тому +2

    Hey is this what they say you need to drop the sub-frame for? Or are those other bushings? I’m looking to replace mine but I’m unsure whether to do it myself or get it done at a shop to avoid high labor costs

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  3 місяці тому +2

      No need to drop the subframe for this. That would be for the subframe bushing collars. I have a video on that too. And you don’t have to “drop” it. You just have to lower it slightly.
