Thank you so much! I thought the batteries were in the panel and could not figure out where the batteries went. Thank you so much.

I just replaced my 12v 7a battery but still get the system low battery indication. Does it take a while to charge?
Also, what is the smaller 12v 4a battery ?

I don't know much about this but from the other videos I checked out, they all said that it may take a few hours for it to recharge. One person even said to give it about 12 hours. Also, toward the end of this video, the man said that it will take about 48 hours to recharge. I hope this helps.

Hi. Yes. Mine took a while to charge up after I changed it. I do not have a 4 amp battery in mine so I am not sure about that. The system can be installed in different ways it seems. I would call ADT or your provider and ask them.

Hi. Thanks for the comment! I entered my code and hit “off” and that worked for about 24 hours. If you have a different system check here: help.adt.com/s/article/silence-low-battery-beeping

Hi. Thanks for the comment. When I did this, it silenced the chime and the voice. Did it not silence the voice for you?
