Woke up to my alarm blarring or at least I thought thats what was going on, but discovered I needed to replace my panel battery. They have the batteries @ Home Depot for 19.99 When I spoke to the ADT rep today she told me I could only purchase a new battery from ADT for 30.00 😮 Glad I had requested the information be emailed to me on how to replace the battery thru the IVR.
Stupid that we pay for a service yet when the battery goes dead, we have to buy a new one. No wonder so many people are leaving ADT for other services.

Tell me about it. I just had a adt service man come and fix my transformer. I mentioned the battery was showing low and after he left he never changed it. So guess who now has to go to the store and install a new battery?…. Me

I've replaced this battery twice at my own expense and my unit still says low battery. The issue I have is with the internal battery in the panel. My unit isn't even communicating correctly. Definitely DO NOT go with ADT.
