It's honestly a win-win, because it makes gives AEW and Roderick an awesome entrance song AND it puts The End of Heartache into the ears of millions of AEW fans. I'm sure Killswitch will see an influx of sales because of this, like other wrestler's entrances have helped bands in the past.
Damn, my bf just passed away, and so this song morphs into something even more meaningful than i could imagine. Thank God someone else knows the feelings I'm experiencing in my great loss. Charlie conard this song is so dedicated to you.
This was one of the few entrance themes that instantly caught my ear. If I ever were to meet Roddy in person, I might just shake his hand for introducing me to it haha
motionless in white New vocalist is Jesse Leach, their original vocalist. Honestly he's almost as good as Howard on cleans and superior on screams. Not quite Howard level, but still good
One thing too is that a lot more of their brutal songs was with jesse, like "Numbered Days". However the more meaningful songs were with Howard, like this song. So it's good to note their differences in the song writing process.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse brought me here resident evil had One of the most sickest soundtrack till now Slipknot aswell Cant control my headbang to this song
yes!! rented it like 10 years ago or whenever and fell asleep. woke up to this song during the credits playing.on my surround. the most beautiful thing I had.ever heard.
Roderick Strong, a former member of The Undisputed Era, used this Killswitch Engage song as his entrance theme a few days ago upon debuting in All Elite Wrestling. As a die-hard metalcore fan, I was so happy to hear that there are still wrestlers out there who are willing to use songs by metalcore bands as their entrance themes. I think it's clear that metalcore is a popular genre among professional wrestlers today.
It was his theme song in Ring of Honor back in the day, too. A lovely callback, and definitely a superior theme in every way compared to his WWE/NXT one. Hearing RVD come out to Pantera's Walk was also amazing, as that was his ECW theme back in the day. I know some people don't like Tony Khan for whatever reason, but I am loving these throwbacks and how he is showing wrestling fans that he is listening. Some times it is the little things that make a huge difference, and some times it is just paying the rights to use one of the best songs ever as one of your wrestler's themes.
@jcsjapan hate to be the entrance police, but yes Roderick Strong did use this song before going to WWE and AEW, he used this song during his time in the indy scene and more specifically PWG In Ring of Honor, he used A Victim, A Target by Mercy Signals.
Baby... WOW!! I remember hearing this 8 years ago. I never listened to them. I didnt know who they were. I am still so impressed with this it hits my core because it makes me think of you every time. I first heard this during the end credits of "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" (2004), and I remember it so clearly because I immediately went to go look it up to find out who this band was, and I've never had that reaction to a musician before. 🤟
I love that if you go to any metal show and "End of Heartache" comes on the PA between sets, every single damn person will sing it at the top of their lungs. Doesn't matter if you're into prog, thrash, death, black, etc. Unity!!!!!
He had some major health issues. If you look it up there is a pretty nice interview he did where he talks about it. On another note, he is now the front man for the group Devil You Know.
Howard was the best singer and entertainer by far. I love Jessie, but Howard is just on another level. I was in love with killswitch since my first listen of My Serenade, Howard put them on the map

A long time ago my music teacher asked the whole class about their personality to better know the class and it was my turn. And at the time kse was my favorite band. Also my music teacher is younger than you think but I told him that they were my current music taste but I was kinda embarrassed, everyone likes pop and rap and whatever stupid shit. And he says ahh yes and he keeps rambling on and on them. Then people were like on second thought I might be cool. And little did I know that he used to be in a metal band. Oh and did I forget to mention can fry scream? He's an inspiration and a kick ass music teacher
Andrew Portillo Exactly, i found KSE through the 2nd Resident Evil movie WAY back in like 2005 or some shit when i heard The End of Heartache at the end of the movie. My cousin and i sat through the credits just to hear the full song.
Very vivid powerful anthem for the brokenhearted going through the healing and depression. I read back then that Howard went through a nasty depression era and thats why his voice is so touchy and heartfelt

Special Thanks to Killswitch engage for letting Roderick Strong use this song as his theme in AEW tonight.
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
again#
It's honestly a win-win, because it makes gives AEW and Roderick an awesome entrance song AND it puts The End of Heartache into the ears of millions of AEW fans. I'm sure Killswitch will see an influx of sales because of this, like other wrestler's entrances have helped bands in the past.
@@jcsjapan I agree
They need to edit it in some way like Edges theme starts off with the chorus.
My favorite era Killswitch hands down. Jessie is a great vocalist but Howard just made them sound so unique.
the singer has an amazing voice.
Damn, my bf just passed away, and so this song morphs into something even more meaningful than i could imagine. Thank God someone else knows the feelings I'm experiencing in my great loss. Charlie conard this song is so dedicated to you.
I'm sorry for your loss
He will know you’re thinking of him, wherever he is. It’s a great song.💪
Sorry for your loss. I just lost my son last March he woulda been 15 Dec 13th 2021. I know your pain
Great to hear a KsE song in the world of professional wrestling again.
now Cm Punk Its time
This music video looks like some dads got together and played in a garage. Love it
LOL 😂😂😂😂 That made My day
Right before they have to go pick up the kids from school lmao 😂😂😂
Anthony Gil Must be a pretty big garage/warehouse.
@@TheUrena66 Guess the first comment should have been "divorced dads" LMAO!
And one of the wives come down with orange juice and sandwiches and they gang bum her ?
his voice gives me cold chills.... 🤘💙
Courtney Widmark your face gives me cold chills bbdoll
I don't know, man! I'm white. I'm figuring this out as I go while I keep my privilege in check.
tell daddy what else he gives you? hmm?
A woman tends to get chilled when she sees/interacts with a human that has alot more love in his heart then her.
That chorus gives me chills every single time. It’s freaking incredible
Roderick is definitely up there with one of the best entrance themes. This shit smacks.
This was one of the few entrance themes that instantly caught my ear. If I ever were to meet Roddy in person, I might just shake his hand for introducing me to it haha
Facts
First-time Killswitch Engage listener. And after that, this definitely won't be the last time either.
Okay but which yugioh card is that

Fine song to be listened while drinking a beer alone
Cheers
Doing exactly that right meow. Cheers
You aren't alone.
I'm literally sitting in front of my computer, alone and with a beer.
kurwa stary wlasnie pije piwko samotnie...damn... dude im just drinking beer alone :D
Such a rich, and powerful voice Howard has
Killswitch is the definition of metalcore. The most melodic band ever.
No
straight facts killswitch is and always has been a fire band.
It's just real METAL dude not emo core bs label 🏷️
@@deusvult8251yeah like I prevail or sleeping with sirens lol
@@deusvult8251 You like it or not, this band is the one that best describes metalcore.
This song as the power to heal me when times are bad just like right now.
same here . lost my pops.
me too
, dude
Ditto
What it's about... that's what heals. The one who's talking... not singing
Stay strong fellas.
I know some people may say otherwise, but i say that Howard Jones was KSE's best singer.
TrenchcoatNinja3
Dude fuck ya i hate the new vocalist
motionless in white New vocalist is Jesse Leach, their original vocalist. Honestly he's almost as good as Howard on cleans and superior on screams. Not quite Howard level, but still good
I give Jesse some props. I loke Howard better, mainly because Most of the songs from KSE that I absolutely enjoy were sung by Howard. :)
One thing too is that a lot more of their brutal songs was with jesse, like "Numbered Days". However the more meaningful songs were with Howard, like this song. So it's good to note their differences in the song writing process.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse brought me here
resident evil had One of the most sickest soundtrack till now
Slipknot aswell
Cant control my headbang to this song
yes!! rented it like 10 years ago or whenever and fell asleep. woke up to this song during the credits playing.on my surround. the most beautiful thing I had.ever heard.
+Michael Devlin I bet that was super special. I remember the first time I heard this song too! Good times
comcast on demand back in the day brought me here
+Macho Flores This made me lawl. Them on demand days.
+orel402 metal has some really cool soundtracks. Scream 3 & Alone in the Dark have great soundtrack albums
Literally what I came to say. Cheers, Luke!
Yup! I was pretty shocked hearing that
It was his theme song in Ring of Honor back in the day, too.
@jcsjapan hate to be the entrance police, but yes Roderick Strong did use this song before going to WWE and AEW, he used this song during his time in the indy scene and more specifically PWG
In Ring of Honor, he used A Victim, A Target by Mercy Signals.
@@joshuaperez441 Touche, friend. I totally forgot he used A Victim, A Target in ROH. Thanks for the reminder.
I've listened to this 27 times in a row right now and I can't seem to get bored of it.
Fuckin rules my friend ❤
15 times in a row all day long.. banging
It's too good.
It is too good of a song to exist.

Robert Cragg im so in love with you. Happy anniversary we done it!!! Kicked addiction almost 2 years sober!!! I did it with you. You are my soul mate. Ill BE WAITING !!!
VERY INSPIRING AND BEAUTIFUL, FOR ALL WHO STRUGGLE WITH A DEMON IN ANY FORM YOU CAN....
Unity!!!!!
I literally love Howard Jones's singing it's larger than life, he matches the super melodic guitar parts, so great
2019 and this is still the most amazing metalcore love song of all time 🤘
The Messiah of the Backbreaker is ALL ELITE!!🎉
Haven't listened to this song or the band since Howard left the band
Now it's been some time and I gotta say I still enjoy it
Howard is the black guy right?
Yeah
Ventus Tarango why he leve
He had some major health issues. If you look it up there is a pretty nice interview he did where he talks about it.
On another note, he is now the front man for the group Devil You Know.
Josh Hawk thanks man
This is such a power song to all those who risk their hearts for LOVE and had that purity stripped away! KEEP ROCKIN FORWARD LOVE IS NEVER STRAIGHT!
Omg brings me back to my teenage years!

Serina Rosalea me 2 im 23 brings me back still like it
This is still, and always will be my number 1 favorite song!! I still get goosebumps whenever I hear it! Howard's voice is amazing!!
My dude, check out "Cemetery Gates" by Pantera if you like this song. 🤟
I literally cried the first time I heard this song live.. something about it just gets me all in my feels.. and the chills!! Oh the chills!!!
Decades from now, we'll be looking back at these future classics with nostalgia, and nobody will ever compare.
Im so in love with this song!
great song
Here, 2023… 30, and still feeling the vibe when life gets tough. Just like at 16-17. Time flies.
Facts!! Embrace it !! Things like this exist to remind us how precious time here is. Soon there will be an end to the broken heart!! (;
This song reminds me that heart break is a process and we should give ourselves the time to work through it. Healing through time and love.
Going through my first one and it is brutal. Feels like I won't get over it 😪

God! What a vocal...
OUTSTANDING!
I fucking love KSE....Howard should come back. Thumbs up if you think so!
I have to agree although I liked both Howard and jesse
Agreed. Howard is much better than Jesse.
Vincent Pompi I disagree, Jesse has a way better range to his vocals! Howard is a great singer, just doesn't have the range Jesse has!
👍👍👍👍
nadia garcia i agree they're are both great.
from time to time, for the last 17 years, I comeback to this song and it always amazes me. One of the greatest metal songs ever written
Howard was the best singer and entertainer by far. I love Jessie, but Howard is just on another level. I was in love with killswitch since my first listen of My Serenade, Howard put them on the map
Best vocal forever !!
I hear this song about every day

finally, i have seen with my own eyes the very first black guy to sing in a heavy metal/screamo band.
lol my cousins band audio has a black singer but there not really heavy metal or screamo
BeanY games from what i heard on their facebook page
Sevendust. Lead singer is chocolate Look them up they were around way before KSE even existed and stfu about the Lead singer people Howard and Jesse are both good leads and they each deserve respect for their hard work and perserverance
What's more surprising is finding a black guy who likes his job
he's trained as an opera singer.
this song is what made me discover Killswitch Engage and it's still in my top 5 of their songs
Lemme know your top 5 songs if you don’t mind. I’m a first time listener due to my big brother. I’m usually on another wave of music but this is undeniably awesome as fuck.
A long time ago my music teacher asked the whole class about their personality to better know the class and it was my turn. And at the time kse was my favorite band. Also my music teacher is younger than you think but I told him that they were my current music taste
but I was kinda embarrassed, everyone likes pop and rap and whatever stupid shit. And he says ahh yes and he keeps rambling on and on them. Then people were like on second thought I might be cool. And little did I know that he used to be in a metal band. Oh and did I forget to mention can fry scream? He's an inspiration and a kick ass music teacher
that's pretty cool
+Gaminglard22 that sounds like an awesome memory
so powerful, the singer is incredible
2018 and Howard still has those dopeass vocals
Top 5 metal albums of all time. Simply no debate.
alot of people knocked this album because it went
"mainstream" which is kinda wild, like you dont like it, because it was popular? o...k
"Black Gives Way To Blue" by Alice In Chains should be on that list, too. 🤟
I was 13 when I first fell in love with this. I’ll never stop.
I love both... but god damn it i loved Howard more. Fuck me right?
I think KsE was a lot better when Howard did the vocals
I'm in the same boat, love Jesse, by the killswitch I fell in love with was fronted by Howard
Andrew Portillo Exactly, i found KSE through the 2nd Resident Evil movie WAY back in like 2005 or some shit when i heard The End of Heartache at the end of the movie. My cousin and i sat through the credits just to hear the full song.
same for me. Love the group, period. It is just that Howard is who was the front man when I found them.
+EQOAnostalgia it was worth it
My condolences for anyone that has anyone pass away.. head up push on and prosper ✌🏼
*The first verse first gets me everytime*
Howard was the heart & soul of KSE. His vocals are hauntingly beautiful.
It it wasn't fo Resident Evil Apocalypse I wouldn't have met this beauty of a song.

This is a product of 'Umbrella Corporation'.
Our business is life itself.
Some side effects may occur.....
I prefer the album version, they have mellowed the song out for the film.
I know right :)
yes!
One of the best Metal songs of all time!! Period!!
Very vivid powerful anthem for the brokenhearted going through the healing and depression.
I read back then that Howard went through a nasty depression era and thats why his voice is so touchy and heartfelt
Really? He always seemed like a very cheerful and funny guy.
@@raulquiroz7492 He did an interview back in 06 and said that he wrote songs like that when he was very depressed. In fact he always had to deal with depression since he was a teenager.
I miss Howard. His voice does things to my soul no other singer ever has .... xoxoxox
I just went through a divorce and coming back to your music as I processed everything felt like I was picking up pieces of myself that got lost along the way. Thank you 🙏
I went through a similar experience. This song helped keep me sane.
