Korn and Jonathan is a voice for us that suffered trauma as children. To not feel alone, and music to empower the tragic soul. Thank you Korn and thank you JD!

Just found this channel and I love seeing new perspectives on songs I've been a fan of for so long. A channel I can see myself being a proud pre-1k sub. Keep up the amazing work!
100% Jonathan Davis was self-taught. In terms on why he sounded the way he does and what he writes about, he was a tortured new wave kid who became a medical examiner, and then became the lead singer for Korn. A lot of tragedy in his life, but it seemed to all work out in the end.
Fun Fact: Davis reached way back to the '40s and '50s when pianists used to sing without words like "shee bop dee boop, deebity dee" and turned into an angry vocalist style. It's called "skatting"; needless to say, he mastered it in the new age.
More KoRn..songs like "Failing away from me " or "clown" please please please DO NOT react to "Daddy" from korn unless youve heard 5 other songs or you are going to react to the whole first album..keep up the great reactions!
@@Dzani3xappropriately so. It's a terrifying topic. It's hard to listen to, but it's one of those things that SHOULD be heard, when the time is right.
Jonathan not only preformed all the vocals for queen of the damned but he wrote the lyrics and composed the music even conducted the ochrestra parts he really is multi talented.
Okay, so we need to start having 2 categories. This isn't a reaction channel. This is a channel where people like to stop it a lot and explain their own knowledge about music. It's the type of channels that I avoid because I really don't care how smart people are.I want to see their reaction to a song that I already know

This. Korn and Jonathan's lyrics, the pain in his voice, let us all know that we weren't alone.
Bloke, no one is ever alone and I am sick of you soft #$%ts saying this song or that song saved me, you saved you, no song ever saved you
When this song was new, I thought of Jonathon Davis' vocal breaks as scat (like from jazz) for hardcore punk -- or a tribute to the Tasmanian Devil.
Hahaha “A tribute to the Tasmanian Devil” is the most accurate way I’ve ever heard it described 🤣 ~Mika

Korn was huge fans of a band called "Faith No More"
We're blessed by Korn! This is prime Nü Metal 🔥
I'd say that they are both nu-metal... Slipknot and Korn...so he's not wrong

Honestly I've seen so many people react to "Daddy" as their first Korn song, save to say that they were terrified.

Play"Twist" for him lmao
Korn are massively inspired by Bad Brains …they are the Godfathers
I love Bad Brains, so that's pretty cool! ~Liam
This song and the movie the Matrix, both 1999 not 2003, not hard to look up, however, I remember because I was dating my first ex wife at the time

Fantastic job!! I'm In
Korn is a masterpiece
I laughed as much as hamster did with the kid rock comparison, as he was just trying to jump on a bandwagon, and post dated this somg

Can we please get a converting punk fan to megadeth reaction??? Pleaaaaase :) 🤘🏻
How about some Judas Priest or any old school heavy metal anything before grunge

a large, koRn sized hole. brilliant.🤣
I will never live this down 🤣 ~Mika
@@DastardlyHamsterno, no. Jonathan Davis is The Great Kornholio. It's all good.
Watch Queen of the Damned. The movie wasn't great bc it didn't follow the books. But, the music saved it. Lots of Korn plus some
