Propagandhi never writes choruses. Their songs are all super technical. But the focus is always the lyrics. Their first three albums are more catchy and maybe enjoyable for most people but they’re also much more comparable to the style she says she dislikes (emo, Sum41, Offspring). I think Victory Lap and Supporting Caste are the best two albums to check out for Mika if she’s interested in hearing more.

Their first album is still my favorite although they are all amazing and have their qualities. There was nothing like them before, they're heavy with more personality vocally and musically. I saw them live at Pine Knob here in Detroit on their last tour. Ironically, they were too quiet to me. Unfortunately Systems messages have only become more relevant over time. We didn't listen

It is a little strange to see the title, because converting a punk fan into an ST fan, when ST is a classic punk band, yes they crossed over into thrash but still. That confuses me. I knew about ST even before I got deep into punk, they were one of my first introductions into the genre when I was a teenager. One of my favorites for sure.

As metal heads I think as metal heads these are not the best match of songs for you to enjoy. I think the more powerful and more direct songs in the album Reputation would be a much better fit. Check out "Ready for it" or "I did something bad" or even things from Album Midnights like "vigilante shit" would be a much better fit!! It was great to watch you guys and see your honest interpretations!!

Do you like your music heavy. Have you ever heard of will haven . ? A great one to check out and my first track I loved of theirs is called Carpe Diem ( meaning seize the day) the style is heavy as hell infact they spearheaded their own genre called noise metal. I'd describe thier sound as blistering, searing dark and macabre with creative rythmes . The lyrics are actually beutiful even though hard to depict as their growled and the spirit of this song has a special meaning to me as at the time all my mates were older settled and married off. Seizing the day as it were I refused to go home after work one random Friday as I was never gonna meet anyone in my bedroom and stayed out for a few drinks. A cosmic collision that would be my future wife randomly was covering a bar for a friend unpaid and we got talking and dating from that night. 20 years later still married and going strong ..
