Gorgeous! Love the oak burl. Glad you added a dash of mica powder. Not sure why you left it in the pot for 5 days. Working on other projects I assume. Most of all I love the way you do the base/pedestal vs a flat bottom. 😊

How do you get your wood for these projects? Do you look for specific types/pieces of wood?

Hi. I look on the Internet, eBay, Facebook marketplace.sometimes I look for a specific piece, and I also get given the odd bit here and there. I tend to buy pieces that stand out. Hope that helps many thanks for the question 🙂
