Greetings. I am new to your channel, but I feel compelled to share a couple of comments. First, one of the things I like about this hobby is being able to appreciate the skills and creativity from folks like yourself. Second, it is your honesty and modesty in the commentary. You share the very real challenges that each project creates and the gracious way you handle them. Thank you and well done!

Great to see you back at it. I can completely sympathise with your lack of motivation to produce videos. I think the thing is to remember there are a lot of people that really enjoy watching what you do. I know it’s inspired me to make a segmented bowl like yours I’d love to send you some pictures but I’m not sure how. Keep it up you do a great job.

Hi! Missed your videos, so excited to watch this one. Thanks for posting. You may want to check out Jim Sprague wood turning-- he does a second pour to get a Japanese kitsuge (spelling?) effect when there's a lot of thermal cracks. I think youtube did a big purge and unsubscribed accounts they think are bots because I've seen other creators say that they lost a lot of subcribers, too. Hope your numbers recover!

Good evening. I always follow you, no matter how long a gap between videos and I do like to see ribbons of resin fly off the project over - someone else 😂 I’m sorry to hear about your UA-cam woes and your garage issues resonate as our builder laid the drive higher than the garage. I resolved it by putting a strip of metal across the entrance and I don’t have a drain. You didn’t have much luck with the catches on this piece but it ‘turned’ out nice anyway. All the best in your future endeavours 🌞

Hello Ray. Good to see you're still here 👍 I hope to get the flooding fixed quite soon, but it will involve a new drain. Lots more videos are on the way 🙂

Your channel drain in front of the garage is blocked mate.. or it was never connected to drains, having a pebble soak-away under the low end at best. 95% of times it's one or t'other. Before you pay anybody, try this: find the low end with a level, pull the grate off and poke around down the hole with something like a bamboo cane (carefully). If you feel drain pipe under there try rodding and flushing with flexible rods - cheap to hire if you have none. Works every time as long as the blockage isn't 'set' e.g. a cementitious sediment. If there's no pipe, or maybe a short pipe: you've got a soak away and you'll likely need a pro to connect it to the nearest drain. Good luck. Nice pot btw 👍

Your viewing and subscribers issues are a result of UA-cam...sad, but true. Their alogaritms messed many, many up and a lot of people eft UA-cam.

Absolutely agree. it was a bad time for so many youtube channels. I certainly wouldn't want to go through it again.😒

@@RestorationDIY UA-cam even messed over some members who watch your channels...so I have no clue where their business sense even was. They're still messing with people. I live in Canada, yet they absolutely insist I watch American ads.
