Wow! These turned out amazing! I love natural they look and the flecks of the iridescent confetti. I think they would look really "Tumblr" if you rolled the outside in a gold sugary glitter/sand like you did with your sugar cookie coasters a few months ago. It would add a cool texture! Awesome job ☺️
These are totally cool!!! But I would love to see your next experiment! Your resin creations are amazing, and your videos are very informative! Can't wait to get your ebook!
I wish I could click the thumbs up about a thousand times on this one. You must have read my mind. I have been wondering how I would go about making a geode. I was going to try to make one that was about the size of a baseball, but in a shape like a rock that had been sawed in half. All I could think was I would paint whatever the outside layer was made out of black then use loosely balled up tin foil to give it a rocky texture. I wanted the inside to have a tree ring look, not like the circular ones, but like the odd shaped ones you see where limbs branch out from the main trunk. I never have figured out how I would pour the resin to get the effect I would want without hand carving the "tree ring" molds in different sizes for each layer. I wonder if there is a way to do it this way inside of a rock shaped cavity though. I can't afford much resin. So, I am going to keep watching your videos and learning tricks about how to get the prettiest results for a while before I ever try it. I would love to see you keep trying to make geodes with some of your other ideas. These came out beautiful, though.
I like the very first geode coaster you did with the glass and I would like to see your idea on making the striations stronger using just the colored resin.
these are absolutely gorgeous. They're my second favorite coasters that you've done. And what would look cool if you try it again is some purple Sparkle in the purple LOL a little Sparkle and glitter never heard anybody
Definitely want to see the next idea - these are beautiful, but don't look a lot like geodes if you ask me - too much white, perhaps sone grey or silver mixed in with the white paint to bring it down a bit? - can't wait to see your next coaster idea, too much fun! Thanks Mona, Jodi=-)
I thought somewhere you listed the scroll saw you use, with a link to Amazon. I can’t seem to find that link again. Could you please provide me with that? Thank you!
I love coaster Friday 😍
I'd love see you more of these. I love your creativity!!!
