Resin Coasters with spider webs made with gilding flakes, spooky spiders for Halloween!

- These were fun and easy to make, I was really impressed with what precision tacky glue can do for gilding flakes. There is always a hint of the gilding flake residue left behind but it adds a beautiful shimmer to these coasters in addition to the shimmer of the fiery red paint. These will look great under Halloween candles or just sitting out for a spooky decoration.

Love the 3D effect of the webs! Very cool. I was cringing though when you started dusting the gold flakes - I was thinking about the mess you were going to have to clean up afterward! LOL. That stuff sticks to everything just like glitter!
It does! I do find it actually clings to the silicone mat and then squirting it down with alcohol will wipe if off nicely - this of course doesn't count what lands on me and cat LOL

it's amazing to me how often you used the heat gun and for howlong each time. And then the torch. I've ruined so many molds from brief encounters with these tools that i can't move forward any more.
Spookalicious 😂 you did a fantastic job you asked if they are too busy and of course I feel you’re asking my opinion haha the one with the less web is better than the one with more meaning the bottom layer web you can see more background color and breaks the gold flakes and can see spiders better which are usually pretty visible i a web lol but fantastic job love you! 🥰
I agree, if i were to do them again, I would not put black in the base, I would do tiny black glitter web in the background, then the gilded web on the next layer - Also a big point my husband makes is "the web should be silver" I laughed because YEAHHH what was I thinking? LOL but here you go anyway, I did these 3 ways before I settled on the orange
