I use to be BIG into video games around the ps2/gba/xbox days and LOVED it. Then for some reason I was just done with gaming. I've tried over the years to jump back in...got real close with the wii (that thing made me feel like a kid again for the first month!!)...but yeah. Nothing's really heald me. Then on a whim I bought a used vita for super cheap from someone locally ($75 got me the vita slim, 32gb memory card, and 8 freaking games. I decided even if I didin't like it, I could make an easy profit on it through ebay).... And man! I can't put the damn thing down! I'm having a super blast collecting games for it too! The problem I'm having now is that I've gotten so many games so quickly, that I can't keep up. I've got disgaea 4, persona 4, uncharted, ratchet and clank, freedom wars and littlest big planet that I'm currently working on. And still I' bought and am awaiting for hot shots golf and killzone to arrive to start diving into those as well! There's just way too many games for me to play atm lol. I'm so in love with this system. This very well may end up being my favorite gaming system I've ever owned.

Ever cod mw we've been focusing on movies sold as games, dlc schemes, annualized sequels and shady business practices.
True, back then it was all about the games. I miss those days. I still have my old retro consoles hooked up to a CRT just so I can relive some of those moments every so often.
Playing god of war on modded vita is like playing on a portable ps3. With vitagrafix u can increase resolution from 352p to native 540p. Then overclock to 500mhz using LOLIcon to increase performance. Finally, there is an hd video mod for the cutscenes, which are a night and day difference. Having a modded vita is almost like having a vita2. Also another game that benefits from increased resolution is need for speed, u can clearly read the text on the license plates and see the emblems on the cars with the proper resolution
I was actually impressed with the graphics and how it was the whole game. The framework does dip, and the audio compression is noticed at first, but like Borderlands 2, it blew me away the vita was running these.
I got a list but I'm proud that I can play Borderlands 2 on my Vita... Mind blows all my friends. Freedom wars, soul sacrifice, persona 4g, assassin's Creed, killzone, SAO hollow Realization.... I even love Rayman Soo much... Odin Sphere is amazing ! Soo many cool games to buy.
I think that all Vanillaware games are the best of the current PlayStation consoles. Murasama on your first list, Dragon's Crown on the second ... I'm satisfied. But I hope to see Odin Sphere in the third.
Hard to contain a top 10 list on overall basis, maybe u can have a top 10 by category like action adventure, fighting, racing, rpg, etc. I don't know how others judge vita as a failure when there's a huge library of fantastic games for it. ✌

Great video man, of course there are more games, especially if you like the "hunter" genre: toukiden kiwami, god eater 1-2 or Ragnarok Odyssey. Also you should check gravity rush.
Hum RC I played the beginning of it and liked it a lot. But I think something came up and I had to put the game down. I completely forgot about the game afterwards. I never went back to it cause I forgot what happened and would have replay it from the beginning again. Maybe I'll return to it again one day...But I did like it a lot though. Love flying through the sky.
yeah OGcrazi3 Loon, I was really mad when gravity rush 2 wasn´t on the vita, it´s kind of understandable because the vita could´ve limited the game, but the real tragedy is that we don´t have persona 5 on the vita and if it can be in the ps3 why not vita?
I really like Akiba's Trip! That's my daily game now. And yes, the locales are actually true! It's nice to see a game recreate something almost to scale :)

@SuperJumpReviews no, i bought a 2nd hand PS2 thats still in good condition, it has mod software on the memory card it came with but not free mcboot which is strange so i don't know how to use that, the PSP i bought 2nd hand too but not in the best condition, the home button doesn't work

Can anyone actually reach 0 year, in Freedom Wars? I've been wondering for so long, you can finish that lvl 8 giant ancient abductor that Abel woke, and got the ending sequence even before you reach 0 year, but... Yeah, what will happen if you do reach 0 year, and free?

Vita did specialised in those 2d combat games in 3d background, like muramasa and dragons crown, there are so breathtaking. Did vanillaware publish anothere vita game like that. I think it is. In the breaks i played simple and extremley beautifull games like Severed aln Lemmings. Great port and usage of touch controls. Vita forever 🤗
@@SuperJumpReviews they are underrated rpgs outside Japan until Ys VIII came out and was spreaded widely on Switch. I'll tell you that Ys series is amazing, some of Ys games will test your gaming's skill (top 3 Ys Origins, Ys OiF and Ys VII) . And of course, you'll be amazed with those games's music (try Sunshine Coastline, you'll love it for sure :)))
@@SuperJumpReviews go on, man. You don't need to play previous Ys games to understand the plot (except Ys 1 and 2), but you'll miss many references. I suggest you shouldn't play Ys 1 and 2 first, they might turn you off with "Bump system", but the music alone is worth the experience
200th like :) Your content is cool man so I guess I will subscribe. I already have the platinum for the entire God of War franchise. I also played the ones on PSP back in the day. I highly recommend you to try Utawarerumono games, they like have one of best stories ever. If you are too lazy you could skip the first 2 games and watch the anime instead and that would just leave you with the last one in the trilogy. Trust me I'm not even fan S-RPGS yet i found it absolutely fascinating. I have not finished it cuz I started other games but I'm sure by the time I'm done with it, it's gonna be one of my best games ever.
I had so much fun playing the god of war games on the psp. To be honest I think I liked those better than the collection that was released on the vita. Just looked up Utawarerumono mask of deception. Looks really good! Love the art style. I don't know much about the game. Is it tactics based?

I saw the first season of the tv show and I liked it a lot. Saw some of the second and lost interest...I don't like it when they start making the characters fall in love with each other. I want the show to be more about zombies not falling in love. That's not because I don't like love stories. I think they're great. I just don't want them in shows about zombies.

I agree with you guys. The first couple seasons of Walking Dead was great but now, it's just boring asf. Gave up halfway through the 4th Season. I tried going back to that show and I kid you not, I literally fell asleep
The best version of walking dead is the manga or comic version before the show become famous and I think many movies and game were inspired by the comic ..but after getting famous ,the story are getting weird and I stop reading
Hmm, you mentioned the OLED screen quite often, I think I'll gonna be disappointed to see those games since I'll pick up the slim unit instead for better battery life and less heavier form ._.
well, here's the thing, I've never seen the slim vita display in person but I hear from what everyone is saying that it's not quite as nice as the OLED. But really, if you've never seen the OLED in the first place, you wouldn't have anything to compare it to. So I think you'll be find with the slim LCD. Either way, the games are still going to look good :)

Yes! Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. But I think he's gotten comments about it though cause I noticed he stopped doing it in his later videos. Bummer. I really liked that part about his reviews and always looked forward to hearing it haha
It's a jailbreak for the Vita that works on the latest version. I'd recommend installing it even if you're not interested in piracy, you can use SD cards instead of Sony's cards, or even overclock it (although it sacrifices the battery life), as well as emulating old consoles and all that good stuff

I got an Xbox One S with a few titles, Just got a PS4 Pro and about 7 games and Nintendo Switch with about 10 or 11 games. I'll probably get around 5-7 more for each system to pair up with the 4000 games I got in ROMs and vpks lol
I started TWD and after about a week, my save disappeared and I had to restart from scratch. Kinda lost interest after that - but after this vid, I think I'll take another crack at it.
I got a vita for xmas and rayman was the only game I could get but I cant put it down. I've put so many hours into it I plan on completing the game for sure

I wish Sony had released an updated vita console. Like a vita pro or something with all the uncapped and overclock features.
Ridge Racer looks a lot better too at 540p with the vitagrafix mod. That game looked like a muddy mess when I first booted it up!
This handheld console would be insane if sony supports it the way they supported the psp.

I have a huge collection of PS2 and PSP games, my PS2 laser stopped working years ago, got a new one today and man its soooo good to replay those games, god of war and max payne is what I'm starting with then the prince of persia trilogy, I'm looking to get a vita soon and boy oh boy am i looking forward to it (n_n)
That sounds awesome! It's great being able to replay old games again especially on original hardware. I have fond memories of playing Gran Turismo 3 on ps2 back when it came out🙂
btw, did you install the new laser yourself?
@SuperJumpReviews no, i bought a 2nd hand PS2 thats still in good condition, it has mod software on the memory card it came with but not free mcboot which is strange so i don't know how to use that, the PSP i bought 2nd hand too but not in the best condition, the home button doesn't work

Hi Andy.. Great reviews on the PS Vita, even though Sony killed it, it's still nice to know they're still faithfuls out there. Anyways, on the last 10 more PS Vita games video you did, you also missed out alot as well. There's Amazing Spiderman, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Toukiden series, Dynasty warriors, warriors Orochi, Ninja Garden 2(wonder why you don't like it as well) Mortal Kombat, injustice, Berserk, One piece, Dragon Ball Z, Yomawari, Salt & Sanctuary, Bastion, Attack on Titan, Ys series, Blazblue series, PlayStation All Stars Battle royal and more.. My 10 would be Child of light, ys 8, ys memories of celceta, shovel knight, shantae 1/2 genie, sword art online, demongaze, axiom verge, Odin sphere, undertale. I have so many games for the vita its hard to list

Can anyone actually reach 0 year, in Freedom Wars? I've been wondering for so long, you can finish that lvl 8 giant ancient abductor that Abel woke, and got the ending sequence even before you reach 0 year, but... Yeah, what will happen if you do reach 0 year, and free?

Mine was only 332,000 years when I fought the final boss, and that's the longest record. Usually just about 400,000 years or less.

Vita did specialised in those 2d combat games in 3d background, like muramasa and dragons crown, there are so breathtaking. Did vanillaware publish anothere vita game like that. I think it is. In the breaks i played simple and extremley beautifull games like Severed aln Lemmings. Great port and usage of touch controls. Vita forever 🤗
Vanillaware also made Odin's Sphere. Everyone tells me it's really good.

@@SuperJumpReviews they are underrated rpgs outside Japan until Ys VIII came out and was spreaded widely on Switch. I'll tell you that Ys series is amazing, some of Ys games will test your gaming's skill (top 3 Ys Origins, Ys OiF and Ys VII) . And of course, you'll be amazed with those games's music (try Sunshine Coastline, you'll love it for sure :)))
I just looked up some gameplay footage of Ys VIII lacrimona sunshine coastline. Yup, that's definitely my kind of game :)
@@SuperJumpReviews go on, man. You don't need to play previous Ys games to understand the plot (except Ys 1 and 2), but you'll miss many references. I suggest you shouldn't play Ys 1 and 2 first, they might turn you off with "Bump system", but the music alone is worth the experience

I already have the platinum for the entire God of War franchise. I also played the ones on PSP back in the day.
I highly recommend you to try Utawarerumono games, they like have one of best stories ever. If you are too lazy you could skip the first 2 games and watch the anime instead and that would just leave you with the last one in the trilogy. Trust me I'm not even fan S-RPGS yet i found it absolutely fascinating. I have not finished it cuz I started other games but I'm sure by the time I'm done with it, it's gonna be one of my best games ever.
I had so much fun playing the god of war games on the psp. To be honest I think I liked those better than the collection that was released on the vita.
Just looked up Utawarerumono mask of deception. Looks really good! Love the art style. I don't know much about the game. Is it tactics based?

I saw the first season of the tv show and I liked it a lot. Saw some of the second and lost interest...I don't like it when they start making the characters fall in love with each other. I want the show to be more about zombies not falling in love. That's not because I don't like love stories. I think they're great. I just don't want them in shows about zombies.
SuperJumpReviews 1st and 2nd season were near perfect after that it took a major nose dive, I would recommend the comics since thats the original story.
I agree with you guys. The first couple seasons of Walking Dead was great but now, it's just boring asf. Gave up halfway through the 4th Season. I tried going back to that show and I kid you not, I literally fell asleep
The best version of walking dead is the manga or comic version before the show become famous and I think many movies and game were inspired by the comic ..but after getting famous ,the story are getting weird and I stop reading

Hmm, you mentioned the OLED screen quite often, I think I'll gonna be disappointed to see those games since I'll pick up the slim unit instead for better battery life and less heavier form ._.
well, here's the thing, I've never seen the slim vita display in person but I hear from what everyone is saying that it's not quite as nice as the OLED. But really, if you've never seen the OLED in the first place, you wouldn't have anything to compare it to. So I think you'll be find with the slim LCD. Either way, the games are still going to look good :)

Rayman origins still on my PS vita even though I rarely played it because of PS4.
Rayman Origins is one of those games were I can just pick up and play til the very end no matter where I am in the game.
What about all those damned good shmups on the Vita. My personal favourites are TxK, Resogun, Luftrausers, Super Stardust Delta and Geometry Wars 3 Dimensions.

It's a jailbreak for the Vita that works on the latest version. I'd recommend installing it even if you're not interested in piracy, you can use SD cards instead of Sony's cards, or even overclock it (although it sacrifices the battery life), as well as emulating old consoles and all that good stuff

I got an Xbox One S with a few titles, Just got a PS4 Pro and about 7 games and Nintendo Switch with about 10 or 11 games. I'll probably get around 5-7 more for each system to pair up with the 4000 games I got in ROMs and vpks lol

I played both of those. Soul Sacrifice was really good but I don't know about EDF, haha. I need to play that one a little more.

I started TWD and after about a week, my save disappeared and I had to restart from scratch. Kinda lost interest after that - but after this vid, I think I'll take another crack at it.

I got a vita for xmas and rayman was the only game I could get but I cant put it down. I've put so many hours into it I plan on completing the game for sure

Sega should have put the Sega Genesis collection on the PlayStation Vita system in Sonic Mania Plus on the PlayStation Vita system two games physical copy and could be compatible for the PlayStation TV to

SuperJumpReviews the ones missing that come to mind are the Genesis collection,Midway arcade treasures,both Capcom classics collection's and a few more but I think some are exclusive to certain consoles like I know some ps1 titles are only downloadable on ps3 and ps4...but like I said I don't know why but it feels like some gamer's are being cheated by this
