Astros Playroom is the most happy I’ve been playing a game since playing GTA 5 for the first time on ps3. This has been a perplexing console generation for me, half the games on this list I haven’t played yet so maybe that’s part of it, but I haven’t been as impressed with my ps5 at this point as I’ve been with past PlayStation consoles. My general feelings about ps5 have been it’s a better way to play ps4 games. Haven’t had that game yet that really made me feel like my ps5 is amazing.
Yeah, this is indeed a weird generation of gaming to be in. In a way it still feels like last generation except more optimized. It's like we never really left the ps4. Maybe ps6 will be more next gen haha

I loved Spider-Man, but boy was it forgettable after the credits rolled. It felt so safe, like the Marvel slop movies. Spider-Man 1 had a way better storyline.
I guess it's the common pitfall sequels always run into. The original was just so damn good there was no way it was gonna top it regardless of how hard they tried. What didn't you like about the story line?

I feel like if Peter had died, it would have given the story a much bigger impact, especially since they led the story in a way where they made it seem as if that was going to happen. And to address your first statement, God of War: Ragnarök was better than the first, The Last of Us Part II was better than the first, and so many other games have created great sequels. This game just played it way too safe. Even the devs said that Miles is the main Spider-Man going forward. Why not give Peter a massive send-off instead of the "I'm done now, have fun"?
I’m not gonna lie, the Sony Spider-Man games just don’t hit for me. I’m not sure why, they seem fine but it just doesn’t hit that spot that the first 2 Arkham games did

I prefer vibrant darker color palette and wavy water effect compare to static on ps. 60fps menu access also feels good sand natural. Even non shiny save crystals suit game atmosphere better imo. Frame rate deeps to 20ish at times though

Ive been following and subscribed to you since 2016 way back with the might ps vita! as you gave us great content for that device. My steam deck and switch,,,,yes it takes TWO devices to replace my beloved VITA lol is carrying the vita torch these days. I love those devices on the go!
No, Returnal does not need a checkpoint system. The replaying is part of its story. You do unlock certain things as you go along. Top notch game, and very original for a 3rd person shooter. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.
*Demon's Soul was missing, but you said that you don't like that genre, and I totally understand what you mean, but I recommend trying Sekiro, at least beating any boss, it's not slow or repetitive and on the contrary it's very satisfying*

You have to actually learn the combat and the enemies and overcome them through gameplay. Hell you don't even level up in Sekiro. You spend experience on skills and techniques that change combat.

As amazing as they are, Sadly you've just remind how there is has been no innovation in gaming probably since the Wii. Make bad guy, place bad guy on screen, press buttons to defeat bad guy. Don't get me wrong, I love playing video games, but I'm doing now what I was doing 25 years ago (point crosshair at bad guys, press shoot). Yes I know, I can go play 'indie' games and I do, we just need something to shake up gaming (VR?)

Lies of p is real good once you get the hang of it. Personally I think it's way better than some fromsoft games. It's been compared to bloodborne IMHO it's way better
Yeah agreed. My only complaint is the huge difficulty spike when you get to the archbishop. It’s like at that point you really need to know how to dodge and parry.
Some nice choices, i would also throw on Guardians of the Galaxy, Resi 4, the Quarry, Metro Exodus, Devil May Cry 5, Armoured Core VI, Kena Bridge of Spirits, the Pathless, Hogwarts Legacy, Robocop, Demons Souls, GT7 & Hitman. A few you can strike off if they have to be PS5 only, but you have God of War & Horizon on your list, so i figured PS4 upgrades counted.
Horizon Forbidden West is easily the best game I’ve ever played. Graphics are beyond, game play is great, but yes if you take a break it’s difficult to get back in the groove. Unfortunately I’m on about 2 months and my break was as I started Singularity. But an amazing game. And Astros playroom is great. Absolutely love that
Spiderman 2 was disappointing for me. The combat was great, but some side missions and the bait-and-switch from Spiderman to Miles were meh. I do love Venom, though. I did enjoy FF XVI. It was a great game. I am currently playing FF VII Rebirth, and I am enjoying it.
Spider-Man 2 was great but i don’t think the story was as tight as the first one. But then again you can’t blame them. The first one will always be tough to top. I can’t wait to try out Rebirth!
I loved spiderman 2, thought it was superior to the first in almost every way, ff16 was a good game, some of the most epic boss fights I’ve experienced, I prob won’t be playing rebirth, I found ff7 intergrade to be HORRENDOUSLY boring, such a let down

Hell diver 2 is nice but always kicks me out for no reason always shows error on app for ps5 when are they are going to fix that is annoying and frustrating
You should delete the game file, it is separate from your save files so you won't lose your game progress amd re download it. If it is doing exactly what you describe. If it just shuts down the ps5 with no warning it is overheating and needs to be blown out with compressed air. I had this issue myself, I tossed a fan by the intake (right side) but just bought me more time before it would do it again. So I checked you tube regarding ps5 cleaning and found out the white outer case pretty much just pops and slides off with no tools required super easy. But then u have access to all the internals, there is even little holes/ports where u can put the compressed air nozzle(thin plastic tube) into and hit that g spot.. amd you will know lol when I did this and a giant thick cloud just continued to puff out of it. Once that stopped pop it back together and it's been running smooth as silk... good luck

I don't feel like the ps5 is worth the money if you already have a ps4 there is not enough exclusive ps5 only stuff. Very disappointing console gen for sony if you ask me. I'm not saying it's a bad system just not that much better than ps4 for the money anyway.
Uncharted and last of us for sure.. I would add elden ring and resident evil in there also. My top 5 games ever is, bf4, resident evil , uncharted, elden ring, last of us ..

Except Switch all platforms are more similar than ever before. PS5, xbox, PC ... minor differences and you can play almost all games on any of platforms.
Why doesn't Sony make Days Gone 2??? It's a great game. Sony fans are begging for this game to be made. You should make a bunch of videos for Sony to make Days Gone 2. Maybe then I'll buy a PS5. Lol.
Horizon Zero Dawn was the first game I got for the PS4, and after thinking of it as amazing at first, I lost all interest when I saw how much more fun AC Origins was to play. I think what would have made a huge difference would have been if they added the ability to scale up cliffs and structures like in the AC games. I don't mean adding parkour stuff, but just being able to move around the environments easier.
I have both PS5 and Xbox Series X and tbh i don't think there's a side that blows the other out the other, i prefer my PS5 for exclusives but i mostly play Xbox because it's so much more affordable to play many games, and Xbox have alot better exclusives than people think, definitely not as good as PlayStation but this generation is far closer than last generation, and there was some very good Xbox exclusives last gen too
As a mainly PlayStation gamer this generation has been pretty mid so far. Playstation has been the best this generation only next to XBOX’s nothing at all. Is the Switch considered part of this generation????
I decided not to put it because I thought people would have a heart attack saying it was a game released on ps3 and shit. If it wasn't for that I would've included it.
Was getting ready to sell my PS5 cause Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t enough reason to own one. Watched your video as a last chance for my console, and now I’m even more convinced I need to sell it. Can play literally anything else worth playing on PC/XBox, and use my PS5 controller if I want to for the PC. Square Enix ended exclusivity with PlayStation, Sony limits content in games (Conan: Exiles for example), and is pushing woke BS in their releases. Most of the games I still play are 5+ years old, and the ones I want aren’t available on PS.
Hit some good titles, i thought it was an ps5 "sony" exclusives list but lets be honest do they even have 10 must have exclusive games? 🤔 but expanding it to all games, you included some good ones, but i would argue the order is wack no way spider man lands number 1 and ghosts are near the bottom. Not saying ghost should be number 1, but for sure, not at the bottom .

Horizon Forbidden West is easily the best game I’ve ever played. Graphics are beyond, game play is great, but yes if you take a break it’s difficult to get back in the groove. Unfortunately I’m on about 2 months and my break was as I started Singularity. But an amazing game.
And Astros playroom is great. Absolutely love that

Spiderman 2 was disappointing for me. The combat was great, but some side missions and the bait-and-switch from Spiderman to Miles were meh. I do love Venom, though. I did enjoy FF XVI. It was a great game. I am currently playing FF VII Rebirth, and I am enjoying it.
Spider-Man 2 was great but i don’t think the story was as tight as the first one. But then again you can’t blame them. The first one will always be tough to top. I can’t wait to try out Rebirth!
I loved spiderman 2, thought it was superior to the first in almost every way, ff16 was a good game, some of the most epic boss fights I’ve experienced, I prob won’t be playing rebirth, I found ff7 intergrade to be HORRENDOUSLY boring, such a let down

You should delete the game file, it is separate from your save files so you won't lose your game progress amd re download it. If it is doing exactly what you describe. If it just shuts down the ps5 with no warning it is overheating and needs to be blown out with compressed air. I had this issue myself, I tossed a fan by the intake (right side) but just bought me more time before it would do it again. So I checked you tube regarding ps5 cleaning and found out the white outer case pretty much just pops and slides off with no tools required super easy. But then u have access to all the internals, there is even little holes/ports where u can put the compressed air nozzle(thin plastic tube) into and hit that g spot.. amd you will know lol when I did this and a giant thick cloud just continued to puff out of it. Once that stopped pop it back together and it's been running smooth as silk... good luck

I don't feel like the ps5 is worth the money if you already have a ps4 there is not enough exclusive ps5 only stuff. Very disappointing console gen for sony if you ask me. I'm not saying it's a bad system just not that much better than ps4 for the money anyway.

Horizon Zero Dawn was the first game I got for the PS4, and after thinking of it as amazing at first, I lost all interest when I saw how much more fun AC Origins was to play. I think what would have made a huge difference would have been if they added the ability to scale up cliffs and structures like in the AC games. I don't mean adding parkour stuff, but just being able to move around the environments easier.

I have both PS5 and Xbox Series X and tbh i don't think there's a side that blows the other out the other, i prefer my PS5 for exclusives but i mostly play Xbox because it's so much more affordable to play many games, and Xbox have alot better exclusives than people think, definitely not as good as PlayStation but this generation is far closer than last generation, and there was some very good Xbox exclusives last gen too
Also if anything I'd say Lies of P and Dead Space are more of a bonus for Xbox since they're on gamepass

Was getting ready to sell my PS5 cause Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t enough reason to own one. Watched your video as a last chance for my console, and now I’m even more convinced I need to sell it. Can play literally anything else worth playing on PC/XBox, and use my PS5 controller if I want to for the PC. Square Enix ended exclusivity with PlayStation, Sony limits content in games (Conan: Exiles for example), and is pushing woke BS in their releases. Most of the games I still play are 5+ years old, and the ones I want aren’t available on PS.

Hit some good titles, i thought it was an ps5 "sony" exclusives list but lets be honest do they even have 10 must have exclusive games? 🤔 but expanding it to all games, you included some good ones, but i would argue the order is wack no way spider man lands number 1 and ghosts are near the bottom.
