After a couple of bad experiences with defective Onn tablets, this was my next choice. I've been super happy with it. The 120Hz OLED screen is *way* easier on the eyes and, the sound is room filling and substantial Additionally, the Lenovo tablet supports USB-C to HMDI-out natively, whereas the Onn does not. Bundling in a snappier and cleaner variant of android OS, a much lighter frame, and the option to upgrade to a pressure sensitive pen all make a pretty big difference. The big thing is that it's been rock solid, not a glitch to be had (at least in a week of owning it)

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for Lenovo to update anything Android related. Such a shame they didn't keep what was one of the best things about Motorola. I've got a Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 1st Gen and it received one update to Android 11 about the time that Android 12L became available.

So I went many stores and online I had this for few months amazing battery it even has a decent camera with flash for day photos and videos
I would buy any tablet like this newer model in a heart beat
Everyone I showed to was impressed and impressed by the screen too
Don't let names full you like amoled screen or OLED this screen is super amazing super colorful
If I didn't know it wasn't amoled or OLED I wouldn't even know that's how good it is

Excellent Review . I have had my P11 for a week now . Disapointed to find it still ships with Android 12 and online updates still says this is a current version. As Lenovo is the parent company of Motorola; whose Android update policy is awful, I am not vey confident that 13 will come soon. I am currently trying to get into Productivity mode but cannot get my trackpad to work and there is no on-screen cursor. Not helped by a lack of documentation from Lenovo.

It could be useful as a remote to queue up movies, music, photos, slide shows for a home theater or an art show. The USB 2 Type C connector is certainly fast enough to operate external hard drives. I wonder if there is an adapter for the micro SD card slot to convert it into a second data port? Though it might only be at USB 2 speeds as well. You should start showing how to open these tablets up to see if the storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RAM, or other components is something that can be user upgraded. Maybe grade it by skill level? Casual users might be able to upgrade the storage or the radio transceivers. More experienced users might be able to de-solder the RAM to replace with something else. SSDs have a very short useful lifespan. Being able to replace them when they croak is an important consideration.

I have the Lenovo P10 (the top of the line one with the speaker dock) and the TB-850 8" bought the same year. Both would run out of battery in a day, even when shut down completely. This is from day one of purchase. The P10 had all kinds of problems connecting with the dock via BT. Why they didn't use the pin connectors to fully connect to the dock instead of BT I don't know why. In the Lenovo forums owners were pleading to Lenovo to come up with a working update, and all pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears with Lenovo reps responding with canned replies that were no help. This went on for months.
Anyway, these two tablets so soured me on the Lenovo brand I'll never buy one of their products again. There are a lot of owners of these tablets who feel the same as me.

Excellent review and awesome device. Don't get me wrong, I am still a Windows weenie, but THIS is the exact computing product I have been clamoring for for about a decade. (I even made abundant, and surely obnoxious, comments on Android websites to try to get my request out there lol). Yes, Samsung has made similar devices for the last few years, but always waaay above the $300 price point which I think is the threshold for a "casual, pay the bills, laptop". Samsung cynically omits the trackpad on all but the most pricey Galaxy Tabs. Unfortunately, my elderly mother needed a laptop a couple of years ago and there was nothing but Chromebooks under $300, so we were forced into buying one. I absolutely despise the OS (and knew I would) but the Android laptop choices were non-existent and there was no way we were going to do an iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard case. I hope this "Android Laptop" segment sticks around because Android is all many people need...particularly older folks who aren't in the Apple world.

sure the zenbook gets abysmal battery life, the screen isn't going to blind you, asus software breaks windows someitmes.
Having a zenbook flip myself with a 11th gen i5, oh good gosh yeah. Blows every android tablet outa the water, AND you get a full winders computer with a tablet mode. The only asterisk, I like winders 10 in tablet mode wayyyyyyyy more than 11. Gestures in 11 don't really work still.

I have a decade+ old Android phone running 4.4.4 Kit Kat. I keep it "alive" as an admittedly sad experiment. Incredibly, I can still do almost everything I would need with it. The reason for this is because even when the app drops out of the play store, I can just bookmark the web-based version of it in "Kiwi Browser", pin that bookmark to the home screen (it even makes an icon), and boom, it operates almost exactly like the real app. Instagram, UA-cam and Google Photos for example, all work great as web apps. My point is, I think people over exaggerate the point you made about lack of updates and support. I think any Android device will go five years without big problems (that can't be worked around). I know it matters of course, but I don't see the catastrophic cliff of failure that others do.
