    Zachy I'm watching you on my P11 Pro 2021 and you're looking a treat. Lenovo are great at what they do in their own market space. I can teach a class of 30 students with it without having to use external speakers for them to be able to hear. I don't have to worry about space on the drive with the SD card slot or the speed of the machine with it's Snapdragon 870. The P11 Pro is a great machine which ever version you buy and its bang for buck is unquestionable

      Yep. In an odd way they almost slightly downgraded the Gen 2, but they bumped the price down a lot compared to the retail on the Gen 1. And there's not a lot that's missing. It's a great device for sure

    I just picked one of these up last week to replace the 10 year old iPad I got tired of fighting with at work. It came with the keyboard for only $245. I'm an android guy anyway and the selling point for me other than the price and Lenovo's hardware reputation was the fact it comes with a camera flash. It was a HUGE part of the reason I decided to give this a shot, since I often need to take pictures of things at night for work and I don't want to use my personal device to do it.

    Bought the 2 chinese version (called Xiaoxin Pro 2022) of that tablet both with the OLED 120hz :
    - one with mediatek 1300t - 6GB for 249€
    Actually in official global rom after using RSA.
    - one with Snapdragon 870 - 8Gb for 269€. Still on it's plastic and sealed.
    I bought it in case i broke the first one.
    The big difference of the two :
    - 1300t use bluetooth 5.1 while 870 use 5.2
    - Fingerprint sensor is present on 870.
    - Lpddr4x for 1300t vs lpddr5 for 870.
    - 10bit display on 870.
    - no official global rom for 870.
    Performance ingame are identical btw.
    However I wanted to buy a refurbished tab S8. For the price of one, I got two tablets. Thanks lenovo.

      @@rkarthik5537 Android 12 for this tablet has low latency decoders. If you update to android 13 there are no low latency decoders. This is mostly a problem if you plan to stream to the tablet, from a PC. The android 13 update has pc mode which is useful but given the choice I would have stayed on android 12 and I can't go back. You can still stream to the tablet with Android 13 but my decode time went from 3ms to 20ms in moonlight

    I bought this tablet as a possible replacement to my Samsung s5e. My manager was actually the ram more than anything else on that of the tablet and it is currently starting to lose brightness on the screen. I'm very happy with what I have currently been able to do, I mainly use this tablet and the Samsung tablet as media consumption devices. Haven't tried this new tablet with my Bluetooth headset from Sony or Anker or Bose. My only real issue is that it's only 6 GB ram. I'm happy with Android 13, as I said this is a consumption device only. I must say that I do miss the fingerprint reader... Otherwise this device fits my needs perfectly

    Thanks for another great review! As an Android user and a Lenovo fan, I appreciate all the details and honest opinion you shared with us. My laptop (Thinkbook 14s-IWL) and tablet (Tab M10 Plus Gen 3) are both made by Lenovo, and although I love my tablet I'm thinking of possibly upgrading to a slightly larger display. Would love to hear your thoughts on how these two tablets compare. Thanks!

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  4 місяці тому +1

      If you're wanting to stick with Lenovo, this is a really nice upgrade for you. It will feel a lot faster, the screen will be a lot better. This is still one of the best tablets Lenovo has for the money. This is better than the p11 Gen 2, I would even say it's better than the p12 because it has a high refresh rate unlike the p12. It's better than the M11 from Lenovo because again this has a high refresh rate screen and it performs much better.
      Just like Samsung has the Galaxy Tab A9 plus and then there's a step up whenever you get to the Fe series, this is that step up for Lenovo. The p11 Pro Gen 2 is great. Again, compared to what you have, you're just going to get a better screen and better performance and a faster refresh rate for scrolling.
      The only thing to keep in mind with Lenovo tablets, even though I love the software, I love the brand, I love their accessories more than almost any accessory provider. Like I love their accessories more than Samsung ones. But the problem with Lenovo is simply software support. If they give you a big operating system update, they often do it like a year after everyone else. And they still give much less software support. Typically only one or two big operating system updates depending on the device. While Samsung typically gives two or more. Plus they give a little bit longer. Support overall. And they give their support on time.
      If you're okay with those downfalls, Lenovo can offer some value depending on what device you get. And I think this would be a nice upgrade for you for sure.
      If you look at Samsung, I would look at something like the Galaxy Tab. S9 Fe to find an upgrade. That device often goes on sale for $350 to $400 and you can find it open box at Best Buy quite often. So that brings it down even cheaper.
      Feel free to use any links in my descriptions. Which helps out. And ask any questions. I don't often go back and forth in comment threads because it's so hard to keep up with comments. But I try to answer every brand new comment at least once. So feel free to leave any new comments if you have questions

Also the p12 comes with 60 hz display and not 120 hz... and it's not an oled.. But I read that that display is reviewed as good ! also not 600 max nits..
    The p12 comes with a pen.. Both are same price.. Makes me ?????????????? which.. The tab p12 comes with android 13,.. I think 14 will come also.. The pro not. But I read that 14 is no important update !.. So, what to do ! Maybe xiaomi pad 6 (11 inch) The one plus pad is 11,5 inch.. I think I just throw some dices..

      Yes, generally speaking, Samsung offers more Android updates. If you look up Lenovo Android upgrade matrix on google, Lenovo has a website that tells you about updates, generally speaking though, I think this tablet is done with big OS updates to be honest. Samsung tablets like the FE line and above should get a minimum of 3 big updates if not 4. So Samsung is king of software on tablets right now.

    What is the difference between AMOLED and OLED?

      Sorry for the late response, but I'll post this, which says it better than I can: While OLED uses organic materials to emit light, AMOLED adds an active matrix layer that controls the current flowing through each pixel. This active matrix layer makes AMOLED displays more energy-efficient and versatile, resulting in brighter displays and more vibrant colours.". OLED is still better than a lot of other technologies, it's great honestly. AMOLED is just a little bit better.

    waiting for u to do pixel 8a vs the a35

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  4 місяці тому

      Yeah not sure I'm going there yet. And sorry I just never came across an iPad at the right time for a comparison. Money has been tight so I've had to be selective and videos keep piling up. I plan to review the Asus CM30 Chrome OS tablet. The Lenovo Tab M11. And I want to review some Motorola budget phones like the G Stylus 2024/G Power 2024.
      But if you want my opinion. Pixel 8a is much better. More powerful. I like the software better personally. Better cameras on the Pixel in most situations. I'd just prefer the Pixel in pretty much every way. It does retail for more though. But it's a nice upgrade

      This is the best least expensive oled tablet. If you can afford more for more performance/software updates then Samsung is the way but for light gaming and media this is plenty enough

    It is an aluminium frame.

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  8 місяців тому

      I'm not so sure. GSM arena says it's plastic. I do get the feel of some aluminum, some plastic, some other reviews also say plastic. I'm not a build quality expert, but it does feel like a little bit of both. That's why I said "some plastic". Not that it feels any cheaper than something else anyway. Feels just like any other tablet for the most part.

      It is using fullbody aluminium frame. I asked the support for that.
      Only the space between the screen and the aluminium frame is plastic.

      I have a sharp edged Duet 3i and while it does look better it also digs into your palms. As for bezels they make it way more manageable to hold them instead of smudging the edges and accidental touches while watching videos or even surfing sometimes it’s way more annoying than large bezels

      They are way better if you want to do stuff other than watching Netflix and browsing the internet cause if the open software. iPads are great for that but good luck playing pc point and click games on it through something like Scummvm without constantly refreshing sideloaded apps every week with a developer account or god forbid you try to run delisted apps that you paid for once they’re removed from the App Store.
