- This is an universal video tutorial for restoring Stock or any (custom) ROM from TWRP Backup which is also known as Nandroid Backup. If you ever face boot loop or any other problem after installing custom ROM or mess up anything on Stock ROM by modifying system file you can simply restore the backup following this tutorial to solve the problem and if you face any difficulty during the process feel free to comment below this video. good day sir after the procedure in the video do you still have twrp recovery? or it goes back to stock recovery?
and also i am rooted using magisk so if i back up the stock rom does the root access comes with the stock room i backed up or is it just a clean stock rom?

Btw. If u take backup after rooting, root will remain by restoring. And TWRP recovery will also remain after restoring stock rom.
But taking back up of stock rom before rooting is recommended.
How to fix after i back up the system,boot and data. I install the corvus os in my poco f1 but after 2 days of using the new rom o want to go back to my s.tock rom miui. But after restoring the rom and reboot to system i'm stuck on fastboot mode?
Did u wipe system, data, cache & dalvik before restoring backup?
I backed up full stock ROM by using TWRP. If I restore full backed up stock ROM, then TWRP will be removed and stock ROM will be back

Hello, I have "QUALCOMM CrashDump Mode" after restore twrp backup on my OP9
I am having an issue with TWRP TWRP 3.3.1-18 at the moment and wonder what I am doing wrong. I backed up my Oneplus 6 in February then the phone offered my a system update at the weekend which I accepted. I later went to use Titanium backup then realised I had lost roots rights due to the update so I reflashed (TWRP if I remember) and Magisk, however the phone got stuck in the bootloop where 2 white dots were spinning around a red circle. After searching and trying one thing after another I resolved it by using the msm download tool. So thats the first issue and I dont know what caused it. Onto the TWRP issue. After the phone was recovered and all the updates to Android 10 was accepted and bootloader unlocked, TWRP and Magisk 20.5 flashed, I restored my February backup which is possibly Android 9. When I rebooted I was then in a fastboot loop. I again restored using the MSM tool and tried again, the same happened. The next time I first backed up the new Android 10 system after the update then tried to restore the February backup one last time (cleared the dalvik and factory reset) but had the same issue so after restoring one more time I instead tried to restore the new nandroid backup and have the same issues. Can you suggest why this is happening with my TWRP backups?
After installing a new bootloader by installing a new official software update, you cant restore older TWRP(Nandroid) Backup. If u try then u will face bootloop & have to flash official firmware to recover the phone.
U tried to restore an older TWRP Backup in an updated bootloader thats y happened this.
After installing any official software update you have to reflash TWRP & take a new Nandroid backup & if u wanna restore this backup later then u shouldn't install any OTA update infact any official update can't be install through a custom recovery like TWRP. I wonder how u have installed android update having TWRP & magisk installed.
@@TechInquisitive Thank you very much for the reply. When I accept an update that the system offers I usually lose roots and TWRP so have to reflash them.
I backed up full stock ROM by using TWRP, if I restore full backed up stock ROM, TWRP will be removed and STOCK ROM will be back.
Stock ROM will be back but TWRP will remain.

Normally no. But its better to take a backup of EFS File before installing custom ROM.

I have installed MAGISK manager. Should I turn off BOOTLOADER and USB DEBUGGING in ANDROID'S SETTINGS
USB debugging is only necessary to be turned on when connect ur phone with pc to do something with adb command. Otherwise USB debugging should be turned off.

When I have taken backup, my stock ROM was rooted. What when I restore, will the bootloader gets locked or not and will the root access will be there or I have to flash magisk zip again? Please reply 2 me brother as soon as possible.😐

The image will automatically create in the required directory when backing up.

No, restoring stock ROM from TRWP won't work. U have to flash official firmware. U can directly flash the latest official pie firmware(Stock ROM) using odin on pc. U can download firmware from this site: www.sammobile.com/

You don't need to turn on USB Debugging unless u r connecting ur phone with pc. And u don't need to lock bootloader.
