9:16 there's an option to enable google assistant inside of gemini, so you can have gemini as your assistant, and if you ask something like 'call mum', it would switch to the google assistant for that. so you have both
i only can switch, assistant or gemini in tool bar, what starts at tap. 2 at once not work for me but i try it on samsung S10. on other phones you can use 2 KI assitant?
@ThomasNowicki-m5s I'm using an A54 and it's easy to setup, choose Gemini, open (or install) Gemini app go to settings or extensions and try to find somewhere there. Also I think it only works if you say "hey google" while watching a video. Good luck!!

Arun said he had massive issues with his Pixel 8 & i only had the stuck screen bug once. & it got basically fixed next month. anything else no issues encountered. but agree for every phone there are threads cluttered with issues for every phone if u just search for it & the reviewers wont tell u since theyre using 1 phone long term, so they cant rly share their "thoughts about the issues they had in the meantime"
I feel like he is quite biased to Apple and sometimes it even feels like they are paying him BC the iPhone reviews are always good but the android reviews are bad or start with something bad or have a lot of attention to the bad things meanwhile in iPhone reviews he sorta hides the bad things.

The bigger question is: why doesn't Google ship worldwide and have a deal with established local brands like Samsung to support their phones? I've been waiting a decade to buy a Pixel, it's still more expensive than Samsung's, and I can't get it from any reputable seller in my country. Warranty? Forget about it.
I think it might not be worth the expansion for Google right now. The phones are premium and not yet the favourite option for premium users - at least that's why they aren't selling in my country, lol If they generate enough demand, I'm sure they'll consider expanding to other regions

They could at least sell through their website and ship worldwide and have Samsung's warranty network support them with some kind of agrement. I loved my pixel 6 pro but I was hit by a car on my motorcycle a few weeks ago and my phone was destroyed so I went and bought the 9 pro XL, I was a bit annoyed that Google made 2 sizes for the pro version as the 6 pro was cheaper and the same size as the 9 pro XL

You should give a sort of verdict where at the end of every review you make about a product, you decide whether we should "avoid it, consider it, shortlist it or buy it"
That's unnecessary, to buy a phone depends on many things. For example your budget, your primary usage (videos, gaming, photography, reading, etc.) or which phone you're already using. If your phone is the Pixel 8 your probably not getting much out of this, but for Pixel 6 users this could be a game changer. And also he is literally saying this phone improves 75% on the things he disliked from the last google phones, so you can very much consider it a good phone.
I absolutely enjoyed at 5:32 where he talked about how Google plasters AI on everything that comes in the phone. The review is immaculate. Good Job Arun!

Honestly I love how I Phones look, how Pixels look and how the Samsungs look. I just feel like the design is great to distinguish them and the fact that it barely changes doesn’t bother me as long as it looks good
I actually Tried to switch from my iPhone 15 Pro to a Pixel 9 pro xl. Ive had it for 2 weeks and sold it again today to buy the iPhone 16 pro in a few days. I just couldn't hold on to it. There was something that just didnt go with me and I can't even really explain what it was to be honest. The phone is great, it's fast, it's stable, it's well built, it's beautiful, the cameras are great, the battery life didn't disappoint and so on. But what I've noticed is that there are a few small things that add up when you're accustomed to ios. First there is a extra smoothness to the ios animations that make them feel just a tad more premium. I think ios users can understand what I'm trying to say. Then there's things as logging in with biometrics, on ios it just scans your face and logs you in right after it's done, where as on Android for some unknown reason you nearly always have to manually confirm the log in after the phone already scanned your face or fingerprint. Then there's definitely something off with the keyboard. I have a feeling that ios does a better job at forseeing which letter I want to press. I'm generally someone who types very fast and is prettty confident with typing on phone keyboards, but especially with gboard ive noticed that I do maaaaany more typos when writing on there, even tho I'm 100% sure I hit the right letters. i dont know what it is and if it's just me because im dumb, but I really think there's something off. I'm currently typing this comment on the Samsung keyboard which I never used and throughout this whole essay i havent encountered a single typo. Then there's the speakers, I have a feeling that no single phone o n the market can match the sound quality of iPhone Pro model speakers. Then there's the unbelievably smooth camera ui on iphones. There's literally no phone that can switch lenses as smooth as the iPhone. It just feels very well programmed without any stutter at all. And don't think I'm just a crazy fanboy. Ive switched to every Pixel xl model since the Pixel 2 xl. because i like the idea of a purely google made phone and wanted to give them a chance every year but they just seem to not be able to match the smoothness and well working and thought out software that iphones offer. Iphones may have some downsides for some people , but the pure software quality is not one of them. Sorry for the long text. I know there isn't a single person who cares for my problem, but since I'm the only phone interested person within my family and friends, I just had to get this out here where everyone is a phone "fan"😂

Tbh it is one of the worst phones I have ever owned ı don't understand the praise it gets. Other then the camera there is nothing good here. Performance is worse then 2-3 year old flagship phones. It is constantly hot even at room temprature inside my room at %60 brighntess the phone feels hot to the touch. Battery life is outragiously bad. It is one of the worst andorid experience ı had buggy and dead slow on some aplications just open the file browser and go get a coffee. Also there is no fast charging ı am sory Google but 14w is not fast charging when my huawei mate 20 pro which came out on 2018 had 45w that is fast charging not this I really don't understand why some people give it such high praise maybe you can enlighten me with your own experience.
I have it now I'm thinking on getting the 9 pro xl, pro fold, or even Samsung Fold 6. Just waiting on these reviews to land so I can see more comparisons.
@@hakansoydan4832I got a Pixel 7 Pro a month ago (I use an insulin pump that does not support newer than this, would have gotten 9XL upon release otherwise). I have not had most of these issues, but I am aware that QC for Pixels has not always been great. I made the switch from iPhone and love the Pixel 7 Pro so far. I really wish I could have the 9 Pro XL though.
Warzone is an unoptimized bugfest. HoYoverse's games like Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero are optimized out of the box, and go through much more rigorous testing lmao.
Don't ever bring WZM to the table, that game can be compared to a drunk uncle who is showing up at a family dinner wearing only PJs. ZZZ is a better OW game to test the phone. At least it shows that it can handle most of the games pretty well.
I think this man is not unbias like MKB is. This man has a track record talking down on pixel phones but praise Samsung cluster and give iPhones 60hz screen phones a pass

At 4:03, When Arun Mentioned that he didnt find any bugs on pixel, unlike the last one. was maybe due to having 1 yr old stable Android 14, instead of day1 release of the next Andriod version. I think, now the decision to wait for android version updates on brand new pixel phones at launch is a good decision, atleast for stability and reliability point of view. (which their biggest competitor iPhones are known for)

It's because he has to favour the Google device over the competition. The Google review contract was leaked. He has to prefer the pixel to other devices, or they won't send him review devices.
I've seen a lot of photo comparisons where they're saying the Pixel picture looks better and I'm looking at the photo thinking, "No, it doesn't." Unfortunately, S24 Ultra is way too big for me, so I'm deciding between the Pixel Pro and S24.

Arun is legit👌 the most honest and transparent UA-camr. He is not an Apple boy or Samsung guy or Pixel freak he just love Tech and make a good review of every gadget giving exactly the fact details.
Can anyone relate to this? As a Pixel 7 Pro owner, there are a few things that really frustrate me about the device-specifically, the lack of customization options for small but important features. I don't use the search bar at the bottom of the home screen at all, but I can't simply switch it off. The only way to remove it is by using Nova Launcher, which feels unnecessary. The notification bar tiles are unnecessarily large. I frequently need to switch off my data connection during work, but this requires an extra, unnecessary step because the data toggle is hidden under the "Internet" subcategory. Why isn't there an option to switch to a regular notification bar layout, like the one Samsung and other brands offer, without subcategories? In Google Photos, I'm constantly seeing the message, "Unlock the power of Google Photos by turning on Backup." What if I don't want to back up anything? The message keeps appearing on my screen, and there's no way to turn it off permanently. I switched to the Pixel from the OnePlus series because I expected a clean Android experience with Google phones. However, I've found that some of the forced features and persistent messages that you can't disable are even more frustrating than what you'd encounter with other brands.
Also can't change the default media player in Files. Additional icon pages can only be set up *to the right* of the home screen because the left is reserved for the most worthless headlines app. And then if course there is the whole total lack of SD slot, unrepairability, the *ever-present* and increasingly intrusive spying, ever narrowing aspect ratios, ridiculous gesture navigation that directly conflicts with it's own software (try swiping to browse through pictures without closing the app accidentally or going to the previous page.) Pixel is pretending to be openly customizable but really just feels like a janky iphone.

Absolutely, not a Samsung fan but it retained much more details of the wall and it’s not so artificially sharpened. Very easy to spot immediately by someone who is into photography.
You should take advantage of deals. Pre-order/Black friday/Holiday....I bought my 9XL for 755 bucks at best buy during their Black Friday month, also trading in my pixel 8...NONE of these phones are worth their retail price.

Having a slower silicon than the competition is disheartening. Not to mention the price is in line with faster competitors. Google should lower he price or give buyer a free Google storage or UA-cam subscription for like a year or two.
Except for Pixel. It feels like they are falling behind, they did not progress at all since last year. It's not even close if you compare it to the Vivo X100 Ultra or even Pro.

My Pixel5 is still running like brand new after 3 years. Incredible phone. Don't have any need to upgrade.

I loved my pixel 6 pro but I was hit by a car on my motorcycle a few weeks ago and my phone was destroyed so I went and bought the 9 pro XL, I was a bit annoyed that Google made 2 sizes for the pro version as the 6 pro was cheaper and the same size as the 9 pro XL

That's unnecessary, to buy a phone depends on many things. For example your budget, your primary usage (videos, gaming, photography, reading, etc.) or which phone you're already using. If your phone is the Pixel 8 your probably not getting much out of this, but for Pixel 6 users this could be a game changer. And also he is literally saying this phone improves 75% on the things he disliked from the last google phones, so you can very much consider it a good phone.

Honestly I love how I Phones look, how Pixels look and how the Samsungs look. I just feel like the design is great to distinguish them and the fact that it barely changes doesn’t bother me as long as it looks good
I actually Tried to switch from my iPhone 15 Pro to a Pixel 9 pro xl.
Ive had it for 2 weeks and sold it again today to buy the iPhone 16 pro in a few days.
I just couldn't hold on to it. There was something that just didnt go with me and I can't even really explain what it was to be honest. The phone is great, it's fast, it's stable, it's well built, it's beautiful, the cameras are great, the battery life didn't disappoint and so on.
But what I've noticed is that there are a few small things that add up when you're accustomed to ios.
First there is a extra smoothness to the ios animations that make them feel just a tad more premium. I think ios users can understand what I'm trying to say. Then there's things as logging in with biometrics, on ios it just scans your face and logs you in right after it's done, where as on Android for some unknown reason you nearly always have to manually confirm the log in after the phone already scanned your face or fingerprint.
Then there's definitely something off with the keyboard. I have a feeling that ios does a better job at forseeing which letter I want to press. I'm generally someone who types very fast and is prettty confident with typing on phone keyboards, but especially with gboard ive noticed that I do maaaaany more typos when writing on there, even tho I'm 100% sure I hit the right letters. i dont know what it is and if it's just me because im dumb, but I really think there's something off. I'm currently typing this comment on the Samsung keyboard which I never used and throughout this whole essay i havent encountered a single typo.
Then there's the speakers, I have a feeling that no single phone o n the market can match the sound quality of iPhone Pro model speakers.
Then there's the unbelievably smooth camera ui on iphones. There's literally no phone that can switch lenses as smooth as the iPhone. It just feels very well programmed without any stutter at all.
And don't think I'm just a crazy fanboy. Ive switched to every Pixel xl model since the Pixel 2 xl. because i like the idea of a purely google made phone and wanted to give them a chance every year but they just seem to not be able to match the smoothness and well working and thought out software that iphones offer.
Iphones may have some downsides for some people , but the pure software quality is not one of them.
Sorry for the long text. I know there isn't a single person who cares for my problem, but since I'm the only phone interested person within my family and friends, I just had to get this out here where everyone is a phone "fan"😂

Tbh it is one of the worst phones I have ever owned ı don't understand the praise it gets. Other then the camera there is nothing good here. Performance is worse then 2-3 year old flagship phones. It is constantly hot even at room temprature inside my room at %60 brighntess the phone feels hot to the touch. Battery life is outragiously bad. It is one of the worst andorid experience ı had buggy and dead slow on some aplications just open the file browser and go get a coffee. Also there is no fast charging ı am sory Google but 14w is not fast charging when my huawei mate 20 pro which came out on 2018 had 45w that is fast charging not this
I really don't understand why some people give it such high praise maybe you can enlighten me with your own experience.
I have it now I'm thinking on getting the 9 pro xl, pro fold, or even Samsung Fold 6. Just waiting on these reviews to land so I can see more comparisons.

I have not had most of these issues, but I am aware that QC for Pixels has not always been great. I made the switch from iPhone and love the Pixel 7 Pro so far. I really wish I could have the 9 Pro XL though.

I think, now the decision to wait for android version updates on brand new pixel phones at launch is a good decision, atleast for stability and reliability point of view. (which their biggest competitor iPhones are known for)

As a Pixel 7 Pro owner, there are a few things that really frustrate me about the device-specifically, the lack of customization options for small but important features.
I don't use the search bar at the bottom of the home screen at all, but I can't simply switch it off. The only way to remove it is by using Nova Launcher, which feels unnecessary.
The notification bar tiles are unnecessarily large. I frequently need to switch off my data connection during work, but this requires an extra, unnecessary step because the data toggle is hidden under the "Internet" subcategory. Why isn't there an option to switch to a regular notification bar layout, like the one Samsung and other brands offer, without subcategories?
In Google Photos, I'm constantly seeing the message, "Unlock the power of Google Photos by turning on Backup." What if I don't want to back up anything? The message keeps appearing on my screen, and there's no way to turn it off permanently.
I switched to the Pixel from the OnePlus series because I expected a clean Android experience with Google phones. However, I've found that some of the forced features and persistent messages that you can't disable are even more frustrating than what you'd encounter with other brands.
I use a Pixel 7 and I had got the same problem and also the widget in the home screen that if I don´t like, I can´t remove it.

Additional icon pages can only be set up *to the right* of the home screen because the left is reserved for the most worthless headlines app.
And then if course there is the whole total lack of SD slot, unrepairability, the *ever-present* and increasingly intrusive spying, ever narrowing aspect ratios, ridiculous gesture navigation that directly conflicts with it's own software (try swiping to browse through pictures without closing the app accidentally or going to the previous page.)
Pixel is pretending to be openly customizable but really just feels like a janky iphone.

Absolutely, not a Samsung fan but it retained much more details of the wall and it’s not so artificially sharpened. Very easy to spot immediately by someone who is into photography.

You should take advantage of deals. Pre-order/Black friday/Holiday....I bought my 9XL for 755 bucks at best buy during their Black Friday month, also trading in my pixel 8...NONE of these phones are worth their retail price.
