3D one will aways give more correction power as a dedicated one step polish. However teaming up 3D speed with an orange lake country or blue Lake country pad will give outstanding results.
I saved a chart that mentioned that Speed was 10% cutting abrasives, 20% polishing abrasives, and 70% "wax". I think ONE has a more even dispersal of cutting and polishing grains, and absolutely no protective capabilities. I love Speed, personally. It leaves a great finish, and cleans up the paint enough. 3D AAT505 is said to be a stronger, version of Speed. I have some but havent needed to try it yet. What pad do you lime to use Speed with? I'm usually using it with Orange Buff and Shine "Grip" pads. Orange medium or black polishing. For some reason, I feel like I get betyer results with the black than the orange. Yellow Buff and Shine Uro-Tec pads also do a nie job with Speed. Every situation ia different though. There was one thrashed GMC Suerra I did with Speed and the old orange foam / black microfiber Buff and Shine microfiber cutting pads, and they helped boost the cut. I'm guessing that a Buff and Shine or Rupes Yellow Wool pad would be a sweet combo for Speed. I might need to consider trying that. Rupes seems to have success using them with their cleaner wax type product, Rupes Uno Protect and Rupes Uno Adcanced. Great luck, and I love the discussion! I'm considering doing a polish discussion. We all have our favorites, and it's fun to discuss. OH! Yeah, 3D ONE is an amazing polish! I got a part time gig at a high end shop doing paint corrections and ceramic coatings, and when I started there is when I started using 3D ONE. We've been inseparable for the most part ever since. I've expanded my range to include the ACA500 compound, AAT502 finishing polish, and AAT505. Sometimes I need that boost in cut from the ACA500, and the AAT502 is for ultra-fine polishing. I just got to 505 to try it. Have fun with the 3D!
I prefer Sonax Ex 04-06 over 3D One with a micro-fiber pad. I love your enthusiasm! Subbed 😅 Not too many woman detail vehicles, let alone for a living. Mad Props!!
@@jazzyfreshdetailing I totally agree with everything you said about 3D Speed. I'd rather 'polish, then wax' You rock Hun. Hard to find recent videos on this topic. Keep going!
Sidenote: If 3D One works for you as a polish, stick with it as it's a great polish. The Sonax EX 04-06 is no doubt most expensive. The difference between the 2 are minimal, especially as a 'mobile' detailer. I'd enjoy a tour of your rig/set-up Perhaps inspiration for a new video.
Nice video, just bought the 3D one today for my camping trailer made with gelcoat, can you help me please? After I apply the compound my surface was very good looking so I decide to wax it with cleaner wax, the surface was pretty nice too with the wax. Once the sun appear I can see some haze underneet the wax kind of a window that as been not wash good. Why do you think it his appenning ? Thanks for your help.
This may be a dumb question but let me ask anyway , what was your process for cleaning the RV? And before applying the cleaner wax, did you completely remove the polishing compound? Apologies for the terribly late response.

2-step is always best.
Polish /apply protection
3d speed has montane wax which very good for high heat

@@yukonstriker1703 thank you 😁glad to get some feedback , still in the “are my videos good?” Phase of UA-cam lol

Great video! Are you using the URO 50/50 pad with the 3D One?
most of the time , yes the uro fiber is a go to . I have consistently gotten great results with those pads.
Thanks for the info
Well done very nice love it
Do you have to tape up the trim with 3D one
@@BillaDaKilla if there is a lot of trim , yes . Typically I try to just be extra careful and clean up any mess
Great video…Thanks a million !!!
Glad it helped!
Has anyone used these products to remove swirls off plastic trims? Or if not what would you recommend

They both so close on what they do
Yes but there is a clear difference when it comes down to the level of correction you can achieve .
3D One has no 'fillers' like 3D Speed.
2-step is always superior
Do it remove
