- 3D speed gives you all the paint corrections you need. Its an all in one step that troves you great shine. Using a heavy cutting spider pad, take 3D speed and apply it to your pad and buff it into your car.
Before you use speed you’ll want to prep your vehicle by washing it. After buffing the wax into your vehicle, use a clean microfiber towel and wipe it away for a glossy finish.

hd speed made me $700 today. I love this stuff
Awesome!
Hd or 3d speed?
Nm..same product 😅
Do you have to use a machine to apply it or you can use a simple microfiber applicator?
templar777able you can use a foam or microfiber applicator pad by hand.
I love working with Speed, it is working very good. Just subscribed to your channel. Still more videos to see, thanks guys, keep on posting. Grts 3D Car Care Espana. 👍
Absolutely awesome product, tested with a heavy cut hexlogic pad, really good results, i'm in love with 3D products, just bought 3D One, hope to try it soon
Hey Donald what's up this is Greg Hines from Peoria Illinois we had a good conversation while at SEMA I know you probably spoke to a thousand people that weekend but I wanted to say thank you for being really professional and being on a personal level instead of all about wax it was very nice to meet a vendor distributor manufacturer customer representative who wasn't all about business and I want to tell you and your son's have a great Christmas and you and your wife have a great New Year thank you
I absolutely love this , I use this on my black rims and leaves them looking phenomenal. I am a customer for life.
Awesome, Thanks again.
Right on....Love your products....Keep em coming!!!!!
We sure will!
At least he is honest with the filler stuff I myself use the 3D one that stuff works
This product is unbelievable in a very good way
I only use 3D car care products here in New Zealand as a car detailer makes my job so rewarding and highly recommend I have some very messed up painted surfaces on 30 year old farm trucks the results are mindblowing with my knowledge and product combo its a winner
Looks so good!

Try out the 3D ONE HYBRID compound and polish.
Will this product work to buff and hone and polish out small imperfections on epoxy resin finishes?
Stuff is amazing, so is 3D one.
Thank you so much
@@3DCarCare what wax is good to put on after the 3d one?
Try 3D Poxy!
The 3D POXY sealant wax.
I use it twice a year. My red 2015 Chrysler 200 looks brand new. I top it with a coat of Meguires and Mothers spray wax. I detail with Chemical Guys in between applications.
Try using Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic spray wax, last the longest and is very accessible at most retailers.
Nice video, just bought the 3D one today for my camping trailer made with gelcoat, can you help me please? After I apply the compound my surface was very good looking so I decide to wax it with cleaner wax, the surface was pretty nice too with the wax. Once the sun appear I can see some haze underneet the wax kind of a window that as been not wash good. Why do you think it his appenning ? Thanks for your help.
in the cut and brightness table how much is hd speed? Thank you
Love HD Speed!!!!👍
Thank you.
Can this be used on interior wood trim?
Donald can you tell me why you don’t make a spider cut dark purple cutting pad? My apologies if you do and this has been answered cannot but I. Australia to my knowledge??
Just received mine today. Took me 25 daya from England to Portugal. Lol. I cant wait to try it. Can this be used in a multi step polish? Used a cutting compound the HD Speed? If yes, would you have to then refine it with a polish or can it be left as the finnishing product?
I have used Speed to both refine and protect the finish after compounding.
No need to refine. Speed can function as your finishing polish/wax in one step.
@@danlc95 Very good product
How long does the wax last?
HD speed got me fired today from rupes because i was braggin on facebook about how great 3D HD speed was!
I have a 6 month old car and i love 3D products my Question is:What is the best product to use as there's so many to protect and enhance my paint.
They'd probably recommend their ceramic / graphene coating.
Poxy is really nice.
Is this a follow up to 3D one?
How fast should the polisher speed(RPM) be? 3,000 RPM? 4,000RPM?
He is using a random orbital polisher, not a rotary.
I believe he uses speed 6.
Greetings, is it possible to put a few small drops on the att 502 pad together with hd speed to have a little more cut, would it have good results? Thank you
It has 10% cutting abrasives, 20% polishing abrasives (AAT502 type) and 70% protection ingredients (acrylic resins, montan wax) in the formula.
You can get more cut from higher tool speed and or slower arm speed.
If you wanted a heavier Cleaner Wax. Try their AAT505. It has more cut + montan wax.
Doesn't it say use a finishing pad on the label ?
Very nice product, but you can see some haze on softer black paint, even with a polishing pad.
On the video, or on your car?
@@3DCarCare a few softer black cars I've worked on.
@@c6z061 have you tried going over it with the 3D ONE first? or the ACA 500?
@@3DCarCare I'm not talking about removing defects, I'm talking about micro marring Speed leaves behind on softer black paint.
@@c6z061 What pad are you using? 3D or something else? What size pads?
Can I get a link to purchase this product plz
Hi, can I use this product without the machine? Also, after a carwash, should I decontaminate first before applying speed? How do I know if my car needs to be decontaminated? I would appreciate your answer. Thank you.
You can use it by hand. But don't expect the same results, it'll still look better than it used to, though. Decontaminate before applying speed. You can tell you need decontamination when there is visible sediment stuck on the clear coat.
If you want to apply ceramic coating after 3d speed do you need an IPA application?
Never a good idea to apply a wax to a vehicle prior to coating.
Use a true polish like 3D ONE or ACA520.
Do I use the heavy cutting pad if I'm working with single stage paint as well or what do you recommend?
I always start with the LEAST aggressive pads and or methods...
Can I use this if I will apply ceramic coating after correcting the paint?
No because this leaves a wax behind
How would you compare this with
HD One?
Could I use HD One and follow up with HD Speed?
Would there be a benefit to doing that or should I use only one of the two?
One is strictly correction, no protection left behind like Speed. It also has more cut, you can go after deeper defects. Most of the time, if you pair it right, it can finish down beautifully, no need for a second step. Prep wipe and ready for protection.
But using One followed by Speed is going to give you the deeper defect removal of One, and the reliable fine polishishing of Speed, with protection left behind.
Don't use Speed if you're applying a coating, or some other form of protection after correction. Use a straight polish if you need to finish down further after One, so you're left with a naked surface.
@@jdisdetermined- That is a perfect reply to that question.
Hi there just wondering because this is a wax as well can I put ceramic coating on top? Thanks 🙏
No, do not apply a coating after an all in one, because it contains wax. Use 3D One instead.
Can it be used after a heavier compounding stage to truly remove any marring/hazing left behind? Also how long will the protection last?
It could be the perfect way to refine your compounding step - if you like the protection it leaves.
Longevity depends on so many factors. For a daily driver parked outside getting hand washed with the good stuff.... Maybe three or four months.
It definitely has the goods to follow a compounding step though.
@@danlc95 that’s good to know. Thanks for the reply
Could you follow up after with a spray wax for a better polished look?
Might be a stupid question but I’m new at this am I able to use this stuff with a DA polisher?😅
Yes, he is using one in the video.
What cutting pad should I use with this product
Depending on condition of vehicle, I would start with a white pad, then go aggressive to an orange pad. Remember today's clear coat on cars is getting thinner.
Is it necessary to apply use paint cleaner before applying 3D One and speed
no, it is not needed. On some finishes, you may want to clay the paint before polishing.,
Can I just use an applicator or a microfiber without the machine for this product?
templar777able yes you can.
I’m confused about this product, is it a polish and wax or polishing glaze? I have to ask before I order off of Amazon
Polish with wax in it. No need to wax or seal after using.
When you say 3d trio and showed ONE, POXY, and SPEED, does that mean that cut+ and polish+ are going away? :-( I JUST GOT THEM!! Lol
3D One is replacing HD Cut+ and HD Polish, yes
@@alduin69 oh man. I bought all 3, cut+, one, and polish together.
So ONE will cut as far as CUT+ for defects?
@@2010stoof - Cuts better than Cut+
Question after hd speed you recommend to add a wax afterward like aca520 or the 505
There is wax in it. But doesn't hurt to add something else to it
ACA520 is a finishing polish only. No wax.
I bet some wire bits get into your pad when you run the brush on it like that
On a scale of 1 to 10 how much cut would you say 3d speed has.
I want to know if i can use this once a year on a daily driver without taking off too much clear coat or if i should go to every other year.
Im using an orange lc pad, light pressure and medium arm speed in one section pass.
It has some cut, but not like a straight compound.
Your pad and technique is perfect! You could even use this on a razor-thin clear coat Honda and get away with it LOL
I read somewhere that Speed is 10% cut, 20% polish, 70% wax.
If it my car I would not use an orange pad once a year. Check the paint with a gauge? Today's clear coat are getting thinner each year. I would apply a ceramic coating and would not worry about polishing for many years, But use 3D One instead of Speed.
I love using this product with my 20 grit disc. Leaves it like a new paint job
How would u guys compare it to menzerna 3in1 , I use menzerna but I don't know 3D
I think the Menzerna has more initial cut, similar finish, but Speed wipes off a lot easier.
I assume the HD name is going away on all products?
Most likely I see it as a good move on them!
Eventually yes
That's the plan.
Can you use this before coating?
No, do not use any product with wax in it before a coating. Use 3D one instead.
How long did you wait before you wiped it off?
If your car is cool to the touch and you're working in the shade, you can wait till you have polished the entire car or wipe off panel by panel, it's your call.
Is that purple pad same cut as grey LC pad or the Orange
Probably somewhere between those two.
Should this follow after claying?
Yes
Always prepare the surface first, so strip off any old waxes & polishes, chemical & mechanic decontamination, IPA wipe, then apply speed with a machine. The wax will last longer and bond to the paint.
Hello - Are ceramic coatings safe to use after applying 3D Speed? Thanks !
Did you ever found out ? Still have that question
Nope, Nobody responded here or on their FB page except for a few followers who chimed in - I did however read up on the subject and the answer is "no" because 3D speed basically contains filler wax which does not play well with ceramic coatings. 3D One is the product you can follow up with a ceramic because the surface is basically bare after using 3D One. But for myself, I like using the 3D Speed and will follow up with a good detailer spray/cleaner such as the one 3D sells or another decent one. Thanks for asking though. I'm a bit disappointed in 3D's lack of communication to be honest especially after I spent money on their stuff.
Same man dissapointed I didnt find an answer, I had bought a ceramic coating but I ended up using this product and didnt use the ceramic coating it came out pretty good btw
@@JonathanRodriguez-yx1vv I hear you, I'm holding off on the ceramic for now until I know more about it. They're hocking all kinds of ceramic products now, car wash, coatings and detailing spray etc ... and none of it's cheap. I have an older black corvette and my wife has a black Honda fit that needs some 3D Speed love on the finish soon. Waiting for my new DA polisher to be delivered and I'll post the results
No.
It's better to use a pure polish, without sealants or waxes in the formula. Something like ONE, or ACA520.
Most paint prep products aren't strong enough to remove the sealant wax in Speed. If any of the sealant/wax is present on the paint, you will have coating performance issues.
I know someone who likes to use a cleaner wax before coating a car, and those customers always have coating failures.
does 3d speed use Alpha Ceramic Alumina abrasives?
NO Speed has NANO abrasives. It does not have the ACA abrasives
3D Products thanks
Welcome
would this be a one step correction or two step ?
Intended to be used as a one step.
Can you use this outside if no garage or shop is available
Yes, apply in shade and cool to the touch.
Absolutely. I've used it in full sun in the summer. Not ideal, but Speed didn't fight me one bit.
All in one IAM all about speed pick me up one
nice
Would you clay the car and wash it before?
Yes!
Do you need to clay bar b4 using speed?
its always good to clay before buffing
If the surface is rough, like sandpaper? Use a plastic baggy and rub the surface, do you feel anything?
How long to wait before wiping off?
If working in the shade and car is cool to the touch, you can machine polish the entire car before wiping off.
Can you top it off with 3D proxy ?
Yes
Does it stain black trim? I have it....haven't used it yet.
Probably not? But try it first. Usually the white on trims is from waxes that contain Carnauba. Man made waxes may not contain natural waxes?
It shouldn't. Kaolin clay and solvents cause a lot of the staining. Speed doesn't have either.
Personally, I have never experienced any staining from any of their abrasive liquids. It one of the biggest reasons I use them.
@@danlc95 thanks for replying
Can you put in extra protection like a sealant or spray on wax without having to do an IPA wipedown?
Curious about this myself. I see this asked often but never answered.
@@wheelofcheese100 I tried it last weekend. I polished the car with 3D Speed, next day I washed the car cause it had rained and applied Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic wax. Works like a charm, and no, I didn't do an IPA wipedown.
Im gonna throw some P&S Beadmaker and see how that works. I absolutely love Beadmaker.
It contains a wax, so I'll use 3D Express Wax on it to boost the existing wax.
If I want something stronger, I'll just use ONE, follow Poxy, or Bead It Up.
Does the pad come with it?
Nope
can i use speed with a rotary?
Probably not a good idea. Unless you can control the speeds and such.
I used a rotary with a 6" polishing foam pad and had good results
Is it fresh paint safe, fellas?
yes, it is fresh paint safe - if you are in a shop, you might like the AAT 505 also.
How long can you expect this to last? A customer of mine wants a paint enhancement and protection for several months (through the winter) should I top off with a wax? Will it even hold?
You'd be better off using a cutting creme without protection in it and using a quality sealant. Montant wax lasts like 4-12 weeks I think.
It might be better to use something like 3D ONE, and use Poxy or Bead It Up after.
Speed has Poxy in it, but not at the same concentration.
If the car is properly prepared, then YES. Just use a quality ceramic spray coating afterwards.
How often can you use this?
Probably as often as needed.
You can go over the paint, quickly at a low speed with a finishing pad and basically use it as an applicator, or you can get a polishing or light cut pad and do some significant leveling.
Quick question. What is the difference between your 3D Speed and AAT 505? Is one more durable than the other? Does one have more cut?
The important difference between SPEED and 505 is that speed has silicone in it and so speed does not qualify as body shop safe.
3D Products got it! Thank you
3D Products how about the durability? I believe 505 is rated at 6 mo. w/ Montan wax. How about speed?
Our testing shows that both are equally durable. SPEED came first, we developed 505 so that body shops could use something like speed, but safe for body shops.
Well crap. Wish I had known it had silicone in it. I just used speed on one yesterday but I also paint in the same area.
How long the wax last
Depends are driving conditions and where you live. Where I live we experience snow, and salty roads. Is this car a daily driver? How many miles do you drive a year? Many factors will determine the longevity, In my area, I would apply a ceramic spray wax afterwards in spring and in the fall. Better yet, apply a ceramic coating and the maintenance will be at a minimal.
at 2:07 WHERE DID HIS GLASSES GO
Can speed be applied over sealant
Probably needs to be prepped first. Strip allw axes and sealants then apply
Thanks
It will remove a sealant.
Hi, more or less how long will the wax last if properly maintained ?
I believe that say around three or four months.
I did a friend's car with it last May. When she stopped by in mid July, it was raining hard, and the beading looked better than I was expecting. Pretty sure she isn't using good wash technique as we would do.
Depending on many variables. What is the mileage driven? What are the conditions or winter weather? How often do you do maintenance washes? Do you keep your car in a garage? etc.
Do you have a contact person in South Africa please. Where i can bay it.

Is this product good for a 2023 car
Absolutely, but a ceramic coating would be better!
@@hartlanddetailer5670 thank you
You're Welcome, Happy Car Care!@@jrc202
@@hartlanddetailer5670sorry to bother you brother which pad color should I use .
It depends on level of correction? Start with the least aggressive pad, maybe a white pad? For more correction use an orange pad. Finally, if the surface is very scratched, use a Uro 50/50 pad. But I would check your paint depth. If your car is newer, you may not have enough paint to work with?@@jrc202
I have a 3 year old truck..I just bought a da polisher and finishing pads. Will they work,or should I get some kind of cutting pad? Thanks man!
A polishing pad will deliver a great finish with great defect removal.
It depends on many factors. Such as; Scratches, spider webbing, holograming, love marks, etc. Start with the least aggressive pad, you can always get more aggressive with pads. Do a test section, then check in sunlight, or with a swirl light or bright flashlight. Today's clear coats are getting thinner & thinner each year. Remember, every time you polish, you are removing clear coat.

@@hartlanddetailer5670 never mind lol it worked wonders on it lol
Differences between this and 3D one?
Second this!
Speed has a wax-like protection. 3D ONE is a compound and polish, but not a wax protection.
Sooo I'm assuming after 3D one u would use an ipa solution prior to applying a last step sealant or wax?
@@404notfound..... Not unless the sealant or wax manufacturer specifically states to do that.
And he didnt even touch the little raised edge of the hood, and ran across the entire edge from left to right..
How to get rid of hologram
Generally, the holograms are introduced by a wool pad or a cutting foam pad. You can remove them by following up with the 3D SPEED on a polishing foam pad - a soft foam pad on a dual action polisher.
