Hi Bill, the Patek Philippe 5330G World Time has also a silicone balance spring like all Patek's today. Patek names it Spiromax, it's made from Silinvar, a material based on Monocrystalline Silicon.

Obud, I'm not certain that it does. Check out the listing and there's no silicon in the listing. The 240 HU does have silicon but not the 240 HU C. (I believe...). Take care, Bill

The Cellini watches were massively unloved in the marketplace but they are just wonderful examples of watchmaking. From a collecting standpoint, the wallflowers of today will sometimes become tomorrow’s bell of the ball as people gain an appreciation over the course of time for various references as is the case with the various iterations of the Cellini Prince. I would not walk 10 feet to look at a non-vintage Rolex but I find the Cellini references to be very interesting watches worth going out of one’s way to learn about including the Danaos which comes in a great variety of permutations including including beautiful back and rose gold dials of some aesthetic complexity that should knock a lot of socks off in contrast to more sedate Holy Trinity offerings like the Calatrava and Patrimony.

Calatrava would be my grail peace if it wasn’t so associated with a crusader mission that renamed a Moorish castle. In the context of recent imperial aggressions against Libya, Iraq, Yemen …etc. the crusader motif has lost its nobility.
