Bruce I got to say you are a hell of a mechanic you have been around for some time and you know exactly what to do you're a one-man army it's amazing watching you work on these massive machines and you know exactly what to do you're definitely a Master mechanic keep up the great work and the hard work that you do
AWESOME CONTENT, Bruce!!! Kenny Ellis, here, from Munfordville, KY, USA!!! Just sitting here, chilling, while I’m waiting for my unload appointment!!! Love watching these videos!!!
Just going on your chat about working with people in the bush, inused to do bit for a down round canyonleigh NSW,e before i moved away.was always a good day spent and i always learnt lots about the bush and machinery.so much knowledge lost when the elderly are no longer with us.
I had a couple of minutes to kill and I came across your video. I'm also a retired OTR driver and I've been there and done that. I've hauled about everything you can haul. I decided to set and watch you see if you could get that dozer started . I'm so glad I did . Gave me inspiration! You take care! 👍👍
This is by far my favourite channel on UA-cam. It's such a shame that the knowledge of people like Bruce is slowly dying out all over the world, preserving it in this format is excellent
My old next door neighbour was similar to Bruce. He died a few years ago. It’s true a lot of people with skills and knowledge are departing this world. The lack of skills is already having an effect on us.
@@TKevinBlanc Those fellas and Bruce are still in the minority. Nice one, amazing how these old dozers start after so long. Our D7 was sitting for 15 years b 4 it started. Took a day, but it went easy in the end. D8 start, hell yes!
I always enjoy watching Bruce's videos because I know he does everything needed to not hurt the old equipment and he is so well spoken and knowledgeable! Thanks again for another great video!
I have to say Bruce, I love watching you work, but I honestly enjoy listening to you talk more; it’s like I’m hanging out with a grandfather I never really had. I wish you all the best!

Now I think I want a dozer after watching your show...well done..kept me enthralled to the end..
I don't know if I am the only one who feels this way, but I love these type videos you make Bruce. It is like ASMR for mechanics. I love your methodical style of properly checking out the equipment and your quiet style of speaking and working while bringing back some wonderful older equipment. Keep up the great work, Bruce. Awesome Bruce, great to see a “Will it run abandoned dozer in my own back yard” love seeing those old machines come back to life. You gotta have have a crack at the old 8. Thanks for sharing.
G'day Bruce. What a days outing. This I must say was a "ripper" of a show. Its just amazing how the old monsters can sit like that and then given a little bit of love they have their candle lit again. I enjoy your passion about how you do things. Things that may give a problem you check and make it ok to use. You see so many rough as guts jokers just butchering good gear.I couldn't help notice the smile on your dial when she fired, It was bigger than the one on the cat in the fish shop. I'm up for you to get the big Cat going. Hope to see that soon. All the best mate.

Great video just come across you on here I love machinery I served 25 years with the USAF as a Jet mechanic and now live in Oklahoma. I’m 70% permanently disabled so I calm my anxiety watching machinery that’s been forgotten come back to life. Awesome job
Your genius when to comes to working on equipment. Wish I knew half as much as you do.Keep up the good work .And thanks for the video. PLEASE keep them coming .
I was watching as a small boy who saw his first big machinery, awesome!! I liked the side stories, the explanations, the wrenching.... YOU ARE A BLESS to watch/listen too! THX!!
Absolutely, im in America and love watching these videos of getting these machines back up and running, extremely interesting to see what it takes to get them going, hello to all you mates in Australia and New Zealand.

I just love the smile on men, when old dosers starts up again! This is good old style sir! Could watch you for ever…calm and vice mecanic! Thanks for sharing, from top of Norway! And man: Pleace go back to the D8 😉
Bruce, from Down Under, is the magician for old vehicles👍👍👍😍. It's sounds really good, that old diesel engine🤩. Thanks for the video. Greetings from👋🥖🇫🇷 Peter

She's a real beast and i love her and that D8H Is a must .Grandpa was a machinist and his 2 acres were always full of old equipment he was repairing .A boys playground for me .Thank you for the ride.
As a mechanic (on different equipment), it is really satisfying to watch an experienced mechanic working on something like this. Just super mesmerizing
Great you got the dozer going and moving Bruce. Now it back under cover, perhaps it stands a chance of being saved. It would be great to see you tackle that monster machine. To see that run and drive . 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing. My cousin was a fire dozer operator for years. Sadly he got cancer from toxic piles in forest fires and from the phoschek dropped on fires. He passed away at age 50. Dozer operators are a unique breed. Fire dozer operators are just plain crazy. 🤣
Another good video there Bruce. What kind of trees are those at the farm where you parked the Fiat Allis in the shed? Macadamia? Yes please, do the D8H.
Speaks volumes about the individual/s that parked it there, low transmission oil… stuff like this gets left to rot over the most simplest and stupid of things! So seeing someone who actually knows what they’re doing and cares about this stuff puts a smile on my face… good on ya Bruce! 👍
G,day Bruce,, mate that's a silly question,,, of course you gotta start the cat D8H,, 1st machine I drove as a 10 year old boy , and it was pony starting
Hi Bruce, i thoroughly enjoyed watching this video, well done breathing life back into this old dozer. Sadly Hoopers at Montville is no more, the old workshop and equipment is still there when I last drove past, looks like it’s stuck in time 1988🧐🇦🇺
I am absolutely impressed about your work. Very straight forward and with perfect mechanical knowledge. This is the first time I have watched a video from you, but for sure this is not the last one! You asked if you should bring the old D8H back to live. Yes do it. The old Cat deserves a true mechanic like you are. Best wishes for your future and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪👍
Push the button in on the side of the injector pump and it will start without aerostart. The bolt to undo the hydraulic tank bung is in the toolbox. About time it was put back in the shed, been sitting out there for about 6 years. Spent a bit of time on the D8H as well.
That’s the trouble in the U S A everything costs to much to fix it’s cheeper to buy new ! Due to cost for labor !, I knew a guy who went to South America and wanted to buy a used car to travel around for a few months but the used car cost more than new one in the USA ! Why I was told that there are no new cars in South America ! Only used cars rebuilt and fixed to be used !
I would love to see you bring back to life the man sized bulldozer. Keep up the awesome work.
That heavy duty roof probably saved that thing a lot of grief. Awesome video!
I cant believe how much machinery is lying around Australia and New Zealand! Between you and Marty T. Insomnia is a positive experience.
Well I live in Aus and I’ve not come across any machinery like this! 😩
