I ordered the jajangmyeon paste from your online store a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow I'm going to pick it up and make jajangmyeon for dinner 😄 I have tried to find jajangmyeon paste for a long time, so I was so excited when I found out that you had a online korean store 😉😄

Future Neighbor Oho, thanks! I live in Romania and here cannot find Korean noodles meals yet: the tastiest here are Vifon's (Vietnamese) more much better than Maggi or others. I watched your receipe cus your vid was shorter: I enjoyed vvvvv much, really! :))) I'm longtime JJM fan but just few days ago could find blackbean sauce at a v far from my home Chinese shop. I'm not a v good cooker so I will wait to be in the mood too cook them lol. Or better to buy that from your shop :)))

Add oyster sauce in the sauce which will make jajangmyeon taste like it is made from a restaurant.

About spam, I suspect that my impression of it would be hugely different if I'd grown up in Hawaii having stir-fry with spam, spam musubi, spam fried rice, or Korean hot pot stew with spam (which you should totally make!). But growing up, my only experience of spam was my dad's spam sandwiches which was fried slices of spam on white bread, and not even blotted... so the spam grease would soak into the soft white bread. =P

So for your meat: cut up sausage

Sauce: same way he made it

I hope to see healthy recipes too with calories. Maybe you can wrote it on your videos and how to eat healthy and loose weight with korean food. Much better then pizza and so on. Like how can i eat it twice in my diet since its for foreigners expensive. We do one meal and dont know what to do with those ingredients which are left. So if we can see what to eat at breakfast. What to eat at our job etc would be amazing.
    Keep on

I make this almost every week, though I usually have it over brown rice..to save my waistline ;)
Once every two months or so when I have to drive 30 mins to the local H-Mart to restock on staple ingredients, i'll grab myself some fresh thick noodles and treat myself to the myeon version.
It's too damn good that way and I absolutely inhale it..but id be a good 40 lbs heavier if I ate that as often as I eat it over brown rice lol

Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodle) is a northern Chinese dish. A lot of Northern Chinese foods have similarities and influence in Korean Cooking. But Korean version definitely tastes slightly different. It is the same dish you are thinking of tho. Southern Chinese don’t know what Zhajiangmian is. Szechuan has their own version as well.

@@jhasjhis9 Chinese bean pastes are much different! I do like this dish, and it's great for bachelor cooking, use of leftovers. This is definitely one of those things that little bits of miscellaneous ingredients can just disappear into. Clear out your fridge and have a nice comforting dish! I like it with rice as shown at the end here. I think the Chinese version might be hot/savory/spicy, this is maybe sweet/savory.

Oil first then bean paste. If big difference in measurement then spray the measuring cup with cooking spray. Works for teaspoons and tablespoons too with sticky stuff like honey or peanut butter.
