    Hi! I finally found Dashida in a store! Where I live sadly amazon does not ship food. But I'm so happy! Of course I tasted it as it is. A tiny bit on my finger. And I instantly knew what taste I missed in my made-from-scratch dishes! I can't wait to use it in my Korean "ramen" recipe! 😋🤤

    • @ModernPepper
      @ModernPepper  8 місяців тому +2

      Hi, You can give it a try, but Lee Kum Kee is Chinese so I imagine that it is made specifically for Chinese cuisine, not jjajangmyun. OR check out Amazon.com and see if you can order it online. All the product links are listed in the description box.

    This looks delicious, went out to Korean Garden today for lunch and almost ordered it, but got the Jab chea instead with the onion pancake with fish and kimchi fried rice. It was heaven I have to learn how to make those too. I will check out your video's. I have all the ingredients for this but the black bean paste. Amazon here I come. 😊

    Chinese zhajiangmian 炸酱面, not jjajangmyon. Zhajiangmian is invented by the Chinese and it means fried sauce noodles.

      Same meaning, korean and chinese dish

    • @Hoo88846
      @Hoo88846 8 місяців тому

      @@dare102 well then they should call it by its Chinese spelling and slap the Chinese brand on. Calling it “Korean jjajangmyon” is like calling Mona Lisa “Korean Moona Risa”.

    • @dare102
      @dare102 8 місяців тому

      @hujiemin721 it's not the same because it caters to the korean palate, just like chinese American dishes

    • @Hoo88846
      @Hoo88846 8 місяців тому

      @@dare102 it’s the exact cultural genocide tactic used against China like the Japanese, a revival of WWII, except Koreans have joined the Axis of Evil’s side.
      And since it can call it Chinese American, why don’t you call it Chinese Korean, but just misbrand it as “Korean jjajangmyon” pretending to be the inventor? Just because you make minor changes to something invented by others doesn’t mean you can just put your brand on it. This is blatant cultural plagiarism and cultural theft just as Japanese call lamian (pulled noodles) as “Japanese ramen”. Koreans and Japanese are joining the New Axis of Evil trying to culturally genocide Chinese inventions and culture by misbranding everything Chinese invented as “Japanese” and “Korean”. Chopsticks, noodles, dumplings, rice noodles, rice wine, hotpot, doufu, soy sauce, miso, paper folding art, penzai, weiqi, tea, tea ceremony, are all Chinese inventions, not “Japanese” or “Korean”. At least Chinese American dishes are known by their Chinese pronunciations and Chinese brand, not “American” brand. Japan and Korea are cultural thieves and must be exposed.

      @hujiemin721 that's right china is the originator of everything lol
