Captain Kirk speaks so well for someone his age or even for someone much younger. Live long and prosper sir.
At 90 he is in better shape than I am at 51.
You’ve got time to change that.
I am so impressed by William Shatner. A very young mind in there.
How great is that, being able to have a space trip almost at the end of your life? This footage is priceless.
Flat-Earthers to D3ATH!!!!!!
He is lucky that it didn’t put him in the grave!😂That would be quite the ride!
Captain Kirk.. almost unable to speak! So flabbergasted by his experience! Beam me up Scotty!
did you know that "beam me up Scotty" was never actually said in any Star Trek episode, ever. lol
Wow Captain Kirk! I am soooooo happy for you! I hope you never lose the feeling either. Help save our planet so others can experience what you have. I wish I could go but I guess I will have to listen to your joy. That’s ok too. Lucky you and congratulations!
I grew up watching re-runs of the Star Trek series. It makes me so happy to see Captain James Kirk actually go to space.
Just goes to show you, that you are never too old for new adventures!
But.... you do gotta make sure that _all_ your parts are in great working order. No time for "little accidents" up in space. *HaHaHaHaHa!
@@Digitalhunny Ha ha yup for sure!
only wish Lenard could of been there with him
He was ;)

James Doohan already Beat William Shatner to Space
Bravo Captain Kirk !
You've given hope to all possibilities...
And in the process made not just 🇨🇦 but all of humanity very proud.
Chapeau à vous ! 👏👏👏🥇🥂💙
Yes, I congratulate you guys!!, I did not know he was Canadian, you must feel so proud, I am so happy for him.
@@MCFC111 Merci mon ami ! 😊🇨🇦
The captain has returned !
And he is Canadian !!!!
🇨🇦
nothing for canada to be proud of.
Rocket is America. Guy who sponsored is American. Technology is American. Place of launch is American. Shatter has spent 70 years of his life in AMERICAN. What are you proud of. Just because he was in Canada. Please explain
@@rameshpudhucode6862 dude I always hear American's say that they live in the greatest country in the world !
But living just north of you
I know that isn't any where close to the truth !
Just 1example .
Health Care is free up here .
Wow, that bald headed guy Bill is talking to is my Amazon delivery guy!
" This is life and that is Death."
This is so great, and it makes me so immensely happy. For him to be the oldest person into space? There couldn't be anyone else more iconic. And he's so very touched, and humbled. Just perfect.
Jeff Bezos is just a robot gaining intel on human emotions.
Flat-Earthers to D3ATH!!!!!
90 years old, unreal
Shatner's big belly is too real.
SOOO happy for William Shatner!!
Really happy for Mr Shatner. Too bad nobody thought to have someone there to properly welcome him back and interview him. Shatner was visibly emotional and Bezos was too distracted to listen. Just before this clip.
Obviously you swallowed Shatner's b-grade performance hook, line and sinker.
@@CorryGal oh boo to you.
Captain Kirk has actually been to space now
This was worth watching/listening to.
it's awesome to see captain Kirk come back to earth safely, he even brought back a real Talosian, known as "Besos"...., so epic....
What an experience that must have been indeed. Congratulations Captain.
Google Earth is my favourite VR experience!
Very happy for him.
An incredible piece of footage!!!
We're delayed because of engine problems?.. Kirk to engineering, Scotty I need those engines!
Amazing.. Captain Kirk really in space at last!
I'm so happy for Captain Kirk!!, he has done at his 90
The word is given…..warp speed!
How TF is Captain Kirk 90. He looks, sounds incredible
It's due to Star Trek food replicator installed in his house. And ooh the recipes ; )
congratulations to all concerned. A memory beyond belief Thanks for the share
If given the chance, in say 2022.... would _you_ do it? Go into space, I mean. Exactly, the same way Mr. Shatner did.
He finally became a real life captain!
Beam me up Scotty!
did he really just criticize dirtying the atmosphere after taking a rocket to space FOR FUN?
Superficial logic at its best here.
Blue Engine 3, runs on fuel combining liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen.
Since there's no carbon contained in the fuel, no carbon dioxide is emitted during the launch or into the atmosphere, Eloise Marais, an air pollution researcher at the University College London.
@@fmaz1952 yes im sure none of the logistics required the use of fossil fuels
So inspirational. Can't wait to live in a world where all millionaires will be able to travel in space
Especially when they thank their Peons for working in lousy conditions without union representation or decent benefits & especially the drivers who pee in bottles! Without ripping off his workers Brzos never would’ve been able to exploit William Shatner’s age & fame. I am however, glad Shatner was able to o this.
20 or 25 yrs ago, when paying space tourism began, it was billionaires paying $ 20 million for a a trip to the ISS . now20 yrs later,in 1 generation or under, the price has gone down by a factor of almost 100 , and now its millionaires yes who pay around $ 250 K , with a deposit of about $ 20, 000 .and it must be said in range of your avg middle class person earning say $ 50 or $ 60 000 / yr or more ,if they really want to go .I heard about a retired school teacher who has been saving for the past x number of yrs and has paid for a ticket . so its not impossible for someone middle class ,almost your avg person, to go..
and with the ever advances in technology both space planes and or hypersonic technology being developed thats only a matter of time, for space planes, which will be suborbital or to start anyway ,New York to Tokyo in 90 mins .. I couldnt guess price but even with just a ten fold reduction, not 100 , in say 10 yrs time , that puts the price range at around $ 20 grand. . and in 20 yrs given that 100 fold reduction in cost already , space or sub orbital travel would be about $ 2, 000 ,or $ 2500
They should have sent Picard.
Patrick Stewart can't afford it. Shatner is one of the richest men on Earth.
@@rudolphvitousek6981 You think Shatner went into his own pocket for that? No way. Bezos got 100x the publicity by bringing Shatner-smart PR move.
Would have been cool to have Picard Janeway and Captain Archer along the ride to
Shatner: *pouring his heart out in philosophical contemplation like he's never done in his entire acting career*
Bezos: Yeah. Space. Air. It's cool. You done?
Proof that Bezos is an emotionless robot.
I’m very happy that Bill had a great ride!
Finally news that no one needs to research
A true hero.
I’m so glad he got to experience this!
For one great moment...Shatters was truely Kirk
Beautiful. 🦋
Too bad Leonard Nimoy never got the chance to experience being in space!
Bezos will make Shatner live forever as a Cyborg
Flat-Earthers to D3ATH!!!!!
a profound experience for you William
Wow, a fun story for a change.
The 3d goggles is actually a great idea.
Yeah just keep saying how it was the greatest thing in the world... while I eat my cheerios in my basement apartment.
Poor baby.
You would think that after his five year mission, he would be used to this. 😂
Sounds Like Major Bill has his feet on the ground keep looking up !
They need to bring the leaders of other countries (ones ruled by religion and hate) on these trips. If they could see their world without boarders and broaden their perspective... things might move forward a bit quicker.
It’s insane we get to experience this in our lifetimes. Truly unique (for now) in the history of humans
Hydrogen and oxygen make water
Most of the smoke you may see is steam. I love musk but he uses carbon based propellant
I love you, Bill. My Hero!
If Shatner is your hero then you have issues and need professional help.
@@CorryGal If Shatner is not your hero, then it may be a very scary situation insofar that as you, being a male, has lost so very much of your altruism, that burying yourself in sexual neutrality has given you so much dogshit to eat, when really, the original pile still must be eaten. Your ilk will never destroy what we have built. Ever.
How long was this flight ? $500K 😨🤤
He went up he came down
Picard next?
on Starship, maybe?

Disney World ride, just a bit more expensive..... Wasn't it about $250,000. per minute? What a waste....

@@aspotterabroad4145 you think I am worried? Girl did you get me wrong. It's beautiful. I nominate Patrick Stewart next!
Is there such a thing as a,"space-flight orgasm?"

That a 90 yr old can go to space

Waste of 10mins $$🤣
Apparently not, the experience was worth it

William Shattner likes that experience, then he should try Crack out.
It appears that you are an expert. Be nice or get off the internet.
Atrocious acting
Still overacting. Not saying a fee was involved.
