    I am not a flying instructor so my video content is for pleasure only and not to be used for training as editing removes context. My passengers are always briefed on all the main things they need to know before starting the engine. Be aware some flight critical checks and radio telephony may have not made the final edit but are always completed on the actual flight. All video content is my own and music used has been downloaded from either the UA-cam music library or Epidemic Sound where I have a creator subscription!

    That was a lot of stuff in a small bag. You must have been pulling it up through a hole in the table!

      Dam it, you figured out my trick haha. There is a lot but it all just fits perfectly :)

    Rubber gloves!!! Good call on the tooth brush and tooth paste. I don't think I saw a spare underwear kit though....that can come in handy.

      The Flying Reporter Haha yeh, I thought the rubber gloves would end up coming in handy maybe. I haven’t put spare underwear in but doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Do you carry an emergency stay over kit with you?

    What about the chinagraph you mentioned and no Sky Demon?

    • @TheMicroPilot
      @TheMicroPilot  5 років тому

      The chinagraph is in the pen holder on my knee board. Nothing too special and no I don't use sky demon. I don't like to depend on it, plus I keep my nav skills up to date. I will use sky demon on long flights just as a back up.

    Hello, again another nice video. I have about 70 hours on a c42 ikarus in the last year and am really enjoying it. I see you fly to c42 mostly. Do you mind tell me how many hours do you have in the c42 flight time?

      David Pianosi Hi David, thanks for watching. In total I have just over 70ish hours now so roughly similar to you now 😀

    Great episode Ben. Does the pouch sit ok under the seat and stay there when not needed?

      Hey, thanks for watching and it's Tom not Ben. Yes it does fit nice and no it doesn't really move around much. I has never got in the way.

    Great video!
    You should have a list here about where to purchase the different items.
    Where did you buy the main and inner bag?

    • @TheMicroPilot
      @TheMicroPilot  5 років тому +1

      Thank you, ,fans a lot! The inner bag was just a cheap headset case that came with my older cheaper headset. The main bag is a design4pilots cross country flight bag from flight store. Here is a link to that page: www.flightstore.co.uk/pilot-supplies-c1/cross-country-flight-bag-p3534

    Way too much stuff in that giant bag, especially in a micro. You should also NEVER keep your logbook in your flight bag. That should be left at home in a safe place. If you lose your flight bag to fire or theft, not only are all your "backup receipts" lost (get rid of those to) but your entire flying career is also missing. Just take notes on your phone or clipboard and transfer your hours over later or get an online logbook.

      Something that isn't very clear here is that this bag doesn't come flying with me in the Microlight. It's simply too big and bulky. I take what I need from it to go flying. Regardless the bag has changed a lot since I've become a professional pilot!

    Hey! Do you ever teach someone else to fly? Or would you come up for a flight with me in the Cessna 152 that I fly? Follow me on Instagram at jowenmusic or reply to this.

    • @TheMicroPilot
      @TheMicroPilot  5 років тому

      Hey Josh, thanks for watching! No, I don't teach people to fly but it's something I would like to do once I have enough hours. I like the sound of flying in a Cessna, I have not flown in a Cessna yet. Where are you based?

    Hello Matey, good to see another vid from you. My god how things have changed, all I ever had was an old Tesco carrier bag with my log book out of date badly stained half mill map and cheque book LOL. So why do you need rubber gloves and tissues you naughty boy you? Is that for when you take your lovely ladies up with you? PMSL
