I think Neil has completely missed what neuralink actually does?
I think your right
Yeah, sometimes he talks bs in ignorance. He's an expert in physics, he needs to take more care when publicly talking about subjects he is not an expert at.
Neither any of us know what that shit does..... Look im not against it... First Elon should tty Neuralink to him and his family man..... I ain't trusting on anyone like that lol
No you’re falling for deception, when the devil comes dressed as a sheep in Wolfe’s clothing. An they start to control these people? What will be the answer then? Please go find God and read the bible. This is how people took the jabs and the boosters, 2 to 3 years ago because you all lack discernment.
@@Nubiiiiiaaaaaaa Yes, people who have discernment are superstitious, believe in myths without evidence and against all evidence and refuse modern medical technology. Very wise.
Elon says the initial primary use will be to restore functionality to people who are crippled, blind, etc. If that's what works, it will be a miraculous breakthrough.
THANK YOU!
I am rooting so hard for his project because it could change so many lives for the better in unprecedented ways.
One of my fears is that selfish small mindedness will try to get in his way because of public perception of Elon. I really hope not.
Good point
Lol. This is more hype than substance. Everything revealed so far has been done.....over a decade ago.

Romans 6.23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Salem is actually the first name of Jerusalem. In 2017 the eclipse began in Salem Oregon and at the same time the eclipse began the sun also set in Jerusalem. The eclipse in 2017 also began at Rosh chodesh elul (harvest begins)

Okay, so I love you Niel you're a smart guy. Which makes me wonder why you didn't actually research what neuolink is actually for. It was not initially designed to be something that connects you to a computer or smart phone. The primary function is to assist those with neurological problems to either greatly improve brain functionality by rerouting neurological pathways through parts of the brain that are unaffected. So essentially if someone has epilepsy or parkinson's they could live a much better and productive life. Now will connecting to smart phones, laptops, etc. Be a possible "side effect" of NeuroLink, maybe. But I think anyone who has seen ghost in the shell knows just how dangerous this concept is.
Bruh Elon Musk goes around telling people you can play video games with your mind.
The original point is to connect to computers so we can compete, or be symbiotic with ai. Thats the goal. To get there you need to have products to sell though and using it to help disabilities makes testing and marketing easier. Musk has said that outright.

I think it’ll be one of those things where it starts off to help those who can’t see or with other neurological impairments, so we can be used to bridge gaps in the neural net work as it interfaces with the body.
But I think his concern is largely to do with those who would use it just as a convenience for getting on to the net work.
And I can see work and have all sorts of problems as well. It’s one thing to need it to be able to see, but it’s another entirely to be plugged into the Internet all the time, given the problems that we see with people who are constantly online or gaming. Given the problems we see with kids who spend time on the Internet gaming, being dumbed down and deprived of play experiences inside that they desperately need on every level.
Look at that, the fake scientist is judging a major tech investor who is changing history.
So neurolink will help me walk again. Reeeaaly? I can get there in my wheelchair in 10 minutes instead of 1 minute. Reeeally? I have the 9 minutes...
The real potential with neuralink is thought transference between humans - completely eliminating the need for language and removing a huge barrier in every aspect of life. Imagine what humanity could achieve if we were a giant hivemind with access to the internet and able to communicate and find information instantly with 100% accuracy just by thinking about it - no need to figure out the correct words or browse through Google looking for answers, everything is just right there instantly. Imagine if humans were unable to misunderstand eachother. It might take a while for human minds to adapt but think what it would mean for teams of engineers and creators working together in perfect harmony, or how you could learn any skill you wanted instantly - the increase in humanity's progress would be infinitely more explosive than when electricity was invented. It amazes me how even people like Neil continually fail to see the bigger picture. This is why it's going to take us a long time.

This man says the silliest things sometimes. Brain machine interfaces will not just speed up common tasks (which adds up over time), but also make it practical to share and receive information in real-time as we go about our day massively boosting knowledge we can work with, and it will enable us to do things that simply cannot be done otherwise, some of which we haven't even conceived of.
The ability of adding a computer and internet to your brain is obviously something with huge upside (and of course dangers which will have to be addressed).

We need to progress absolutely, but not this way. I actually see it as devolving. Anyway ppl are going g to do whatever and that's OK just leave me out of it.
@@liatmarmur4368 Obviously people are going to better themselves. If I could I certainly wouldn't want to go back to living like it's preindustrial era. You don't want this technology, that's fine. You'll just be left behind and eventually crippled by your self-imposed limitations.
First thing I think of when I see new tech is the military application. 😂
I just remembered there's a simpson episode of this as part of the future
It can supposedly help people with spinal cord injuries
Trash
As you said before Neil, back in the day the people that were experimenting on how to invent the first airplain they were getting criticized, and now look at us now we are getting to the other side of the world in a matter of minutes rather than months. It’s the same thing with this, it has all kinds of benefits as well
Yeah but imagine being able to scan data neurologically without having to search it, scroll through and read it manually
Neuralink will enable paraplegics to walk. It will also work on Nouri degenerative disease going forward
It won't work at all.
Thats great if its true. I hope it is.
Its to control people
It wont. The problem does not stem from the brain most of the time and a wifi connection from brain to leg would also not help in most cases. Especially considering ISPs are also businesses who like to deliver " a little less" than advertised.
What if you can't pull your phone out because you can't use your arms 🤔
This is really for people with disabilities not for the everyday person that can just get up and do whatever they want.
Well the first thing he said was that’s not how it worked. You have to have that implanted as well and don’t actually have to have that. And this is an oversimplification. He is leaving out the main importance’s of it. The internet was not the great thing in fact it was way more off to the side compared to who he wanted to help which was people that were wheelchair bound physically disabled people. He wanted it to be able to allow people to resume there normal lives. The internet thing, who knows it might be more useful it might not. That wasn’t the main selling point.

Neil is a great and knowledgeable astrophysicist but when he comments on things outside of his field he often misses the mark
Not just the internet,,blind can see, cripple can walk, etc
The thing is it isn't 3 seconds it literally instantly
Were finally gonna be able to play sword art online
I need that 17 seconds to rethink what I'm saying
My only fear is getting Rick rolled while im sleeping 😅
Yeah, but without the pause to pull out your phone, the content of the internet are basically part of your memory. Now that you can call on at anytime.
there are many points to be made and this isnt one of them. Remember when texting first appeared and everyone was like, why text when you can just call?
Yes... It's just fear of change
Your heads will basically be the next level of wifi lol
The Internet connects to a exoskeleton that allows disabled people to walk just by thinking of walking. Like how Dr strange can use his hands again.
the thumbnail looks as if Neil's high 😅
Neil accidentally making me realize how this could revolutionise gaming
Neil doesn’t like competition
This is some cyberpunk 2077 shit.
how do you proof read your thoughts? or edit them after posting?
I guess use the nueralink as usb data upload and download data is mind blowing 😅😅
Me who wants NeuraLink to test my anime abilities
I don’t want the fbi breaking down my door because I was thinking of an edgy joke
The first guy to get it was just on Rogan
It’s like he avoids reality and lives strictly in a “Neil degrade Tyson physics” world.
The prospects of using neurolink in conjunction with advanced robotics is fascinating.
