    My big take from this video, is how much the people in the room appreciate having a boss that understands them. It is very rare when you work at this level to have the ability to discuss what you are doing and the boss actually understand what you are saying.

      @@Mr.Dodo- that’s just not how our brain nor this technology works. As an analogue, I’m sure you heard about these tsunami warning probes they use out at sea in various parts of the world to be able to warn and evacuate the population before a tsunami arrives. Now would you be worried that these probes could *create* tsunamis just because they can detect them? Now I’m not saying humans couldn’t create such waves, a nuclear explosion for example likely could, but these detecting probes are entirely unrelated to that ability.

    I am continually impressed by Elon's accomplishments.
    Yes, he has a team to make his vision reality.
    His most valuable talent is not his genius, which he is, but his determination.

    He pushes smart ppl to make things happen.

    • @Xalantor
      @Xalantor 6 місяців тому +1

      Sometimes genius just means having a very defined vision and pushing people to achieve it. Take Steve Jobs for example. Did he solder the first IPhone personally and did he come up with every single part of the design himself? Of course not, but he had a very clear vision to take many different existing technologies and fuse them together in such a way that changed all of our lives forever. He found people willing to follow his vision and ignore the detractors to achieve something I am sure many of his time said was impossible.

Certainly at both SpaceX and Tesla.
