    Lately I’ve been suffering a lot from dandruff, hate when it starts snowing just from touching my hair. Thanks for this video but I got a question. Are there any other alternatives to einkorn flour, maybe quinoa ? Because it’s not available in my area

    Hey! After researching about bad mile absorbtion, oxalates, etc I’m glad I found your channel and see your diet has worked for you. I will try it. I subscribes because I have a son and I would like to know if you can make haircut videos for long hair, I usually cut his hair but sometimes he wants it shorter so I have to go somewhere but it gets pricey. More mid length surfer haircuts please :D thank you

    Awesome video. What do you think about holding off on the honey, fruit and pizza until the dermatitis is gone? I don’t eat sweats or sodas but I think I eat too much bread, rice, potatoes and pasta. Been dealing with this seb derm for the last 2-3 years. If I use Vanicream Cleanser on my face and hair everyday I have no symptoms. If I don’t use it I itch like crazy after 24 hours. Want to kick this stuff for good. Your vids help tremendously. Dermatologist looked at me for 20 seconds and told me that I’m screwed and that by the time I’m elderly my whole head will be completely covered with Seb Derm. I threw the prescription she wrote me for a steroid cream in the garbage. I don’t want to take that the rest of my life.

      Yeah seborrheic dermatitis is a tricky one. It's interesting how some people have it while others don't. Both of parents have ZERO skin issues and then here I am.... Skin Issues lol. It's the luck of the draw I guess and it is what it is. The only grains I accept in my diet is my 100% organic einkorn flour which I buy from Amazon and I use it to make my own pizza without yeast and without sugar. Otherwise, the animal based diet seems to be doing me very well with my skin overall and my physique loves it as well.

    Struggling with Seborrheic dermatitis for years now.
    Really needed this info as i eat similar food and also have similar cravings 😂
    Systemic changes are required to deal with seborrheic dermatitis rather than only topical solutions.

    Can you do Mega guard self haircuts. You will have to wait a while for some growth but it will be great to demonstrate them to your audience. They make up to 3 inches and I know you kept you hair around it under 3 inches usually. So I would just lien to see that.

    Since Alex doesn’t respond to questions, he mentioned substituting einkorn flour for wheat flour for bread recipes. But all bread require yeast to bake. So I’m confused can we eat bread yeast??

      I make 2 videos every week replying to my UA-cam comments. Mondays and Wednesdays. Subscribe to my UA-cam channel and follow my Instagram with post notifications turned on so you don’t miss them.
      I eat pizza every single day. My pizza does not have yeast or sugar in it. Einkorn flour, butter or olive oil, salt, rosemary, mozzarella cheese, red sauce, and some sort of meat for topping.
      You’d be surprised how amazing life can be when you can eat these foods every day and be extremely healthy and fit at the same time. Please be mindful of your words the next time you leave a comment. God doesn’t need ears to hear your heart speak.

    It’s crazy UFC fighters struggle to make 145-135 lbs that are your height or shorter. You lost all that weight without struggling. Shows how effective this diet is.

    • @AlexKouras
      @AlexKouras  2 місяці тому +1

      The diet is everything! Lots of animal protein and fat via red meat, eggs, and dairy. First you must get down to the correct weight with a slight calorie deficit, BUT then... You can maintain like a champ with ease which is what I've been doing for the past 4 months since April. Still repping 140 lbs and all I do is eat the same and workout 5-6 days per week like I've always done and have preached since day 1 in September 2023.

    Really great improvements but i noticed on your last fade cut video the seb derm and eczema is clearly still on your scalp to a large degree? I advice you to cut the yogurt since it is dairy.

      Watch this self-haircut video of mine from November 2022. You'll see the difference between back then vs 2 weeks ago. My scalp is 10x better today than it used to be. There's absolutely no questioning it.
      I've never said my dandruff/SD was perfect nor 100% gone. But it's immensely better than it used to be and my diet is the #1 reason why. Yogurt is perfectly okay for me. Yeast, Sugar, Processed Foods, and Seed Oils are the biggest food culprits.
      Check out the difference in my scalp condition comparing these two videos:

      @@AlexKouras Yo Alex, doesn't kefir have yeast?
      Google:
      "Yes, kefir contains live yeast as well as bacteria and fungi. Kefir is a fermented milk drink that can contain up to 60-70 different types of bacteria and yeast"

  • @jakew1362
    @jakew1362 2 місяці тому +1

    It’s interesting because dairy is by far the biggest trigger for me. It’s the only food that I can clearly point to that causes Seb derm to get worse.
    My 3 principles for clear skin are:
    1. Avoid foods that cause issues.
    2. Make sure your skin barrier is healthy
    3. Direct sunlight on any existing spots
    Do all 3 and My skin is clear. Fail on #1 and skin gets worse even if succeeding on #2 and #3. Succeed on #1 but fail on #2 and/or #3 and skin remains the same without improving or getting worse.

    • @AlexKouras
      @AlexKouras  2 місяці тому +1

      Isn't skin so interesting? We all have completely different skin reactions and solutions, yet the same overarching problem. Whatever works, keep doing it! Trial and error always seems to be a good way to find optimal solutions for our issues.

      @@AlexKourasBetter than trial and error ,do a food intolerance test to see which food causes you problem and cut off those foods . If you want to go one step further do a gut microbiome test and supplement accordingly. Hope it helps 🤞. I have got great results doing this only
