Thanks for sticking around to review this one Myke. I never cared for drill beats so those tracks always throw me off, unless they mix it in like Nas did on Reminisce so Cole let Nas down on the drill beat choices to me personally.
It was pretty good for the most part. Cole continues to improve on his ability. Some tracks were harder than others. Pi was nuts. But if I'm being honest, the apology left a sour note around it because now every time Cole does his usual "I'm the best, no one wants smoke" etc. it just feels completely empty.
Some lyrical songs, some vibe songs, some bragging rights songs, no story telling songs, something some hardcore rap fans enjoy but for some reason which is his greatest strength, he has avoided making a plethora of those songs for a couple of years, I’ll give it an 8-9/10 because it’s going to take some time to like fever outside of that verse because the bridge and hook were kinda slow, the trans bar was fire, overall it’s great to me,
Shit, im in the minority here because i thought it was really cool. Its perfect "podcast game music." By that i mean its something you can throw on when youre gaming, if that makes any sense. Just something dope you can ride with without being super focused on it. I rock with it.
Imma be honest, I’ve been watching a lot of reviews for this project…..The one thing I’ve noticed is that the reviews are up and down; The ones that were positive listened to the project BEFORE the diss/apology and the ones who don’t like it listened to it AFTER the diss/apology…..I thought this was a great mixtape, yes there were tracks that were mid (Fever and HYB even tho HYB is growing on me), but for some throwaways these are 🔥🔥
Pi probably had coles best verse. The fact he didn't get washed was crazy imo. There is a guy who broke down the track. It's about a hour long. An the schemes, flips, double, triple an quadruple entendres an internal/external multi syllable schemes were literally neck an neck with daylyt an soul. Daylyt had one quintuple entendre that was crazy though. Myke is crazy thinking cole had no bars on this track let alone the album. Also, the trans bar was fire in the overall scheme. An it wasn't even transphobic. Definitely wasn't as bad as auntie diaries. Kendrick was misgendering, deadnaming, using gay slurs an wrong pronouns but people were glazing it.

But if I'm being honest, the apology left a sour note around it because now every time Cole does his usual "I'm the best, no one wants smoke" etc. it just feels completely empty.
it's the wild west right now 😂 waiting for all of yall reactions
Clearly a great deal of bias against Cole. Pi y'all are playing on Cole's verse
6:54 "HE'S A PROPHET!" LMAOOO, Ken stay hating on Cole, it's hilarious tho.
Myke doing his best J Cole impression at the end, I see you! lmao
Ken representing for the people with two black parents and 4 black grandparents with the Half and Half line.
Some lyrical songs, some vibe songs, some bragging rights songs, no story telling songs, something some hardcore rap fans enjoy but for some reason which is his greatest strength, he has avoided making a plethora of those songs for a couple of years, I’ll give it an 8-9/10 because it’s going to take some time to like fever outside of that verse because the bridge and hook were kinda slow, the trans bar was fire, overall it’s great to me,
Maybe I’m buggin but this album is fire. Does flows and rhyme scheme count for anything for y’all?
They tripping this throw away album is fire
Where Is The Roc Marci Review
only in it for the money, so they only review big albums for the views, don't care about anything else, sad as fuck.
i feel huntin wabbitz is an underrated song
Shit, im in the minority here because i thought it was really cool. Its perfect "podcast game music." By that i mean its something you can throw on when youre gaming, if that makes any sense. Just something dope you can ride with without being super focused on it. I rock with it.
Might Destroy Everything I've Built In The Last 5 Years For No Reason Later
Need the Roc Marci review
Y'all need to go back to that Pi Verse from J cole please
Facts! He snapped on that
Exactly! I feel them on I thought the trans bar was a lil unnecessary, but outside of that, the verse was flames.
Ok nah. Yall WILDING downplaying Cole’s verse on Pi
Imma be honest, I’ve been watching a lot of reviews for this project…..The one thing I’ve noticed is that the reviews are up and down; The ones that were positive listened to the project BEFORE the diss/apology and the ones who don’t like it listened to it AFTER the diss/apology…..I thought this was a great mixtape, yes there were tracks that were mid (Fever and HYB even tho HYB is growing on me), but for some throwaways these are 🔥🔥
Yall Dynamic is unbeatable!
Y’all be hating. Album was good.
Thank god Alc finally used drums again gahhdam
I'm a Cole fan, I enjoyed most the tracks on this album. I appreciate these guys not just blind hating like a certain bald flannel wearing "reviewer" Thank you.
Huntin' Wabbitz was fire he was spittin
Cole might need to wait a while to drop The Fall Off. the wind has been taken out of that roll out for me after the past few weeks. Unless it’s all part of the concept 😂
Just stop
@@TheMackoftheyear stop what
@@fwright22 crying bout the apology! 😆 weirdos
@@fwright22 he's a butthurt Cole fan trying to laugh through the pain. Leave him be to grieve.
Is Fever the worst song J Cole has ever made?
Should be called “Will Apologize Later”
Ab-Soul and Daylyt were fantastic on Pi. I need a collab album from them.
bye myke, thanks for getting me through my teenage years as alt hip-hop head!
You think Cole has a Life After Death in him? He sure needs it now.
The way they didn't even mention 3001
Ab-soul slid
He always does
lmfaoo myke calling MDL sub-par makes me feel better that he quit the show, still the best hip hop project/mixtape this year also he said ''pi was crazy but it wasn't cause of j. cole'' lol bro that is literally a contender for verse of the year but this is the problem with 1 listen reviews
Clearly none of them actually F$ck with Cole. So why review the album???
Love DEHH but J Cole is on of those artists where i don’t care about DEHH opinion lol. It’s clear most of them don’t like J Cole which is fine. Outside of “Fever” and the diss i loved it
Don’t see why you care about anyone’s opinion. And that’s the problem
@@dmw7681 we all watch these videos cause it’s entertaining. I just know what I’m getting from reviews on certain artists
18 min is crazy
Huntin’ Wabbitz was super cool, stealth mode, sticks n stones, pricey
But with that being said KING KENDRICK 👑
K dot trash
This mixtape is better than his last album. I don’t which mixtape these dude have been listening to.
I have some napkins for you to wipe away your tears
Disagree with Mykes take on Pi. Cole killed it as well...
“Pie was crazy but it wasn’t because of j cole”
Me - 😥
Are we getting a review for the new Roc Marciano album?
Yall hate Cole on a legendary level. Salute 🫡
J cole should be working at foot locker
Zzzzzzzzzz
@@TheMackoftheyearthewackoftheyear
@@BumbaClo-bh8xp you mad 😆
@BumbaClo-bh8xp mad you couldn't get the fake beef huh 🤣
J Cole makes music for people that work at Foot Locker
This album was a light pack
🤣
cole is raymond carver, has to live the experience as intimately as possible even if he has to force trigger
Mike's last review for DEHH. 😢
I been saying, feature Cole seems to be the metric when we say he’s stepping up, but when he does a project feature Cole is nowhere
if rod thinks that Gucci mane part was a verse... .... dont make me say it
ISN'T MYKE SUPPOSED TO BE GONE SOMEWHERE TO A DIFFERENT LYFE?
J Cole turned to the Darth side
Y'all have lost your mind on your judgment on the project as a whole.
17:25 no way Myke c town leaving? Gonna miss them musical taste buds 💯🎵
Am I the only one who liked the initial production before the Conductor beat? Would've been great on Æsop Rock's I.T.S.
No more Myke???? Why????
