I love how DEHH brings on guests and they never detract from the flow or the energy of the videos--in fact they often bring the best out of the crew with their new energy. That's a rare ability.
I don't think yall need to be comparing who beat who on Mona Lisa. It was a story track. Kendrick basically just played the other side. They complimented each other well. Of course Lil Wayne's part was better because he was the star of the STORY
Dude, bring back Dope Knife. Really did an amazing job. I loved the questions he was bringing up and he brought a great perspective. Really didn't feel like an overlap on one of the guys.
C5 was like a 7/10. it was not his best but it was far from trash it was good. At least he rapped with some substance and also sounded more clearly and focused.
As a HUGE Wayne fan I loved the idea of 23 tracks because we haven’t gotten a REAL Wayne project since 2013 with “I am not a human being 2” and I would’ve been HIGHLY UPSET if I got 12-13 songs because it’s like I know you recorded soooo much music over the past 5 years and 13 songs is underwhelming I’m tryna hear as much of it as possible, if that makes any sense
I love this review style. Going through the album and everyone putting in their input had a better flow than going around the room hearing each guy's review.
Literally the only song I listen to on this album. Just that hook man it’s haunting you know? Wayne’s verses were trash as always though. What can I expect from Weezy🙄
@@AnimeProfilePicture i hate hearing people here this lol. Its just an opinion Dont Cry is possibly my favorite track X's vocal along the beat was perfect in my opinion
@@AnimeProfilePicture see lol this other guy hates the verses. I think they were good but my PERSONAL favorite part was the hook and beat build up each time. I would of been happy to see them collab more
There’s nothing to compare with Wayne and Kendrick they both executed perfectly. The conversation to be had is the influence that Wayne has on Kendrick
@@luis.vuitton it's not bad but it's just another migos album without 2/3 of the group I've expected him to experiment a bit more with his sound to justify this solo album. If why make a solo album in the first place

Now i cant make it through a whole video because its just everyone talking over each other. I've been liking and watching for at least 5 years now, and will continue, love y'all.
Great review guys, but I freaking loved this album. In my top 5 of the year so far, and I think it is nearly as good as Carter III, not quite, but it might honestly be my second favorite Wayne project, it is as good as the first two Carters for me.
I actually liked this album I mean Wayne gave u bar Wayne gangsta Wayne straight spit then he gave u introspective songs I thought it was a good album now it wasn't no Carter 1 or 2 hell even 3 but I didn't hate it and he really didn't come with weak bars

i agree with dark side of the moon nicki. i was so happy to finally hear something resembling a voice on nicki again, instead of like,30 other voices and "characters". her singing was pretty tight,and... i wonder whats next for her
When I made the playlist for the Carter v I started it with mom intro then “Use to” seems like the perfect intro for this album cause of the build up on the beat and the whole “you still ain’t seen shit, till you seen C5” is kinda perfect for the intro
Tha Carter Is Wayne At His Pinnacle Flow, Song Structure, Lyricism.... He's Dropped Dope Isht But Tha Carter Will Always Be His Crowning Achievement....
The guest reviewer in this review is my favorite guest so far. He fit in great with the group & not only shared his opinion but he was also very interested in other peoples opinions.
Wayne just didnt paint the pictures like he did in previous albums maybe? Also it was more mainstream and less versatile idk that's just me so it balling I loved that album personally
@@MarkQuick0411 That's bullshit. Em has gone rounds with goats and Kendrick isn't touching him. Em is technically and lyrically better than he ever was right now. Joyner is better than Kendrick and em gave him half the track.
jspears19 the second half of Carter II (I see it as starting with the title track) was very artsy. LeCury McCray fefo should deadass coin that term and sell shirts
