Gday Alex, Thanks for the trip down memory lane,a mate and I used to fish for carp there 45 years ago.Great channel mate, always good content, keep the excellent videos coming. Cheers Andrew
Much appreciated Andrew. 🎣👌
What was his name?
Hello congratulations for your amazing videos.
We have same restrictions for fishing in this area? Thanks
Great video Alex good content.... Great attitude 👍👍
Hey mate local adelaide fella if your ever out alone id be keen for a fish, ive got a kayak aswell.
Top effort, Alex. Especially landing them without a net!
Just in time! Just got home and sat down. You're always posting awesome content. Do many people fish around that area normally, and what do you do with the carp in such an populated area? Obviously can't be thrown back, just curious : - )
Really appreciate it mate! Most of the city is fishable and hold fish, just got to bring them to you if you want the better results!
I kept these ones for compost. But they can be fed to the hungry pelicans, buried or binned. ☺
@@Alexsfishin oh yeah of course! Compost... that is a godamn amazing use, didn't think of that! Another great video as usual, Goodluck with your next adventure !
@@Alexsfishin you can use them as compost to grow tiger worms for carp and catfish also have yoh ever been to port hughes or moonta?
excellent bait for crabnets. catch freeze and cut up. blue crabs are going mad this year. Been fishing the Torrens for years favorite spot is where you are and across from the zoo.
With the white bread get a pack of strawberry or raspberry jelly crystals and mix in into the bread. Wet the bread a little to blend it in and maybe a little flour then roll a a small amount to cover the hook. Toss it in and watch the carp love it. I've caught thousands of carp with this bait often much better than sweetcorn and use a size 4 or 6 circle hook on a running rig..
enjoyed the vid you should get a chest mount i have one its really good
Thank you for posting the video with all the hints on carp fishing, I love your informative videos. I was just wondering have you ever tried carp fishing with frozen or canned peas?
Great video Alex, really enjoy your videos, appreciate the tips!
That running sinker didn't look like it was moving ,
Is that looped over a few times so it's actually not running or does it need some force to move , cheers and yeah keep bringing the videos love it 🥰
I’m moving from the uk to Gold Coast where’s good for big carp
Did you eat those carp or chuck them back? Is a carp a good eating fish?
Very informative video Alex. enjoyed watching, keep up the good work
G’day Alex, I agree they do make great compost. Be good if everyone went down to catch what they can for their own gardens. Just another million more to catch😜 lol
Hey great vid Alex been looking forward to it! Where can I get one of them rod holders, they look great?
gr8 catch on the carp. so gr8 how u can find a spot in the city and just use bread for bait. basic fishing at its best haha
Your videos are great, but when me and my parents go where you fish, we don’t get a single bite 😂 seems like you get all the fish in SA
No net? Get some fish grips Alex and lift them out with them. Good video!
great fishing Alex looking forward to next week : )
I caught 2 big size carp at torrens today
Nice vid, I'll try corn next time
I caught a 7 kg carp a mawson lakes at 8 at night it was 77cm long

used to catch bigger carp than that down near the brewery on fish and chips, fish for me ,chips for the carp.
Hi Alex,I like your videos very much, because I am new in Adelaide, so can you tell me some carp fishing points in Adelaide( city or suburb)where I can park for free or low charge?thanks.
I usually park for free at Thebarton tram stop (4hr limit) and take the free tram in to the city. There may be free parking off of War Memorial drive on the weekends but I haven't been past there in a while.
Adopt Me India thanks
Great stuff Alex - I used the fish in the Torrens when I lived in Adelaide many years ago - great to see it's still producing great carp!
Not really, wish there were none of those f*ckers in the river.
I cuat a bream yesterday
Hey Alex I’m looking for a fishing partner and someone to help film do you or anyone else know of any ways to find people? And great video 🤙🏽
Hey mate. Have you got instagram? I can screenshot this post and put it on my story for people to see and if anyone is in the same boat as you they could hit you up! Let me know. 👍
My Instagram is lachy0908_24 and I’ll be out tomorrow again caught a 61cm carp and had around 7 hookups cheers
So when yah going next bro are u allowed fans to fish with u
Good stuff Alex! It's so fun catching them in urban areas too. I have a video I'm editing at the moment doing the same sort of thing, it's just so fun. Cheers mate
Good fish mate love the vids
How do you dispatch them humanely
Vincent C those pests don’t deserve to be dispatched humanely
Nice man bit awkward without net. 👍
bro, i FELL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIVER while rowing and capsized XD
Hi bro you sticking them carp back
You know Asians don't put anything back haha
Thanks for uploading ,cheers
can you use lure on them Carp? does it work or you gotta use bread all the time to catch them?
Carp are pigs. Carp eat Bread and Corn, but in SA Carp must be kept and not put back unless it's been killed since they are pest, use Carp as bait and you might catch Catfish.
@@Mobnetworkcarp are not pigs mate, the meatheads who throw them up the bank to rot are pigs 🤨
@maxmock2661 I fished many days in my life mate and I've never gone fishing just to kill fish, .....thats what meatheads do 😖
Some Magnificent Mud Marlin Alex !!!!
Genius fishermen
I dont kill them, i eat them. I dont know what everyone complains about regarding the taste. They are fine.
DoomiePookie bland in my opinion how u cook
Good with butter and herbs
Haha I wouldn’t even feed carp to my dog, they taste like shit, just the smell of one cooking will make you vomit 🤮
It's not about the carp it's self it's the environment they are in, you wouldn't eat a carp out the Torrens buddy, full of dead bodies and rubbish.
And the smell of them cooking is basically the smell of burning rubbish lol
On my old channel Kyle's fishin adventures
I love slaying mudslugs. Probs beat fighting fish for fresh water I personally feel.
why kill em?
Pests I think
IT DOSENT FIGHT LIKE A SEA FISH ITS SLEEPING THE CARP FISHING
White bread that's racist !
You can only call it bread (PC).
😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
Good vid dude .
Fucken Nice
can you do a shout out to my sisters' channel islaverse
I prefer catching fish I can eat.
