I didn’t know anything about it till I saw a video on UA-cam a few days ago… everybody learns, just unfortunate it was this way. Before buying this service, PLEASE do some research on how horrible this company is! So many people have had terrible experiences with counselors, payment, advice, etc. Please look at peoples experiences and the company as a whole. There’s a reason so many UA-camrs don’t promote BetterHelp anymore.
Yes I am skeptical . Unfortunately it is not too hard to become a licensed therapist . It just isn’t!!! Find a therapist who has real credentials everyone!! I know someone who is a therapist and honestly she should’ve taken MY advice bc she is dumb as a rock. It’s just another degree. For companies like this. No!

They create a fake profile of a real private therapist with excellent credentials. A person tries to sign up with that therapist through Better Help. Then oops "This therapist currently has no open availability. Here are some other therapists you might be interested in". Meanwhile the actual therapist MAY actually have availability through their private practice but you'd never know because they were never actually affiliated with Better Help.
I loved my better help therapist but she was more like friend I would gossip with instead of a therapist, they exploited her and me so it’s a no for me
It makes perfect sense that a practitioner of a profession masquerading as medicine while really just preying on people’s insecurities fed to them by society would partner up with a “service” claiming to be therapeutic while really just taking your money, bouncing, and then selling your information you wouldn’t be caught dead with in front of even your closest family members.

There was just the two of us in our family and my parents passed within 8 months of one another. I made it through that without feeling suicidal the medicine I was on was working but then my doctor had to retire early because his wife became ill. Along with a new dr. Kane a change of all my meds and things have not been the same. We're in a rural area so we're limited and how many doctors there are I constantly and telling him what's going on and he will not change anything.

Therapy is a great idea I try to eat a balanced diet exercised meditate before during and after sleep and practice as much self care as I can I think therapy of the only thing I haven't tried this is a great idea
